    In all aspects, writing, directing, acting, this is a master piece, and Ruther Haurrs speach at the end, Years in the rain is forever etched in my mind, i can quote it.

    The soundtrack of bladerunner 2049 in the first bladerunner , wow , it fits perfectly . Perhaps Hans Zimmer is the Vangelis of our times, he too gave character and an intense atmosphere to the film. But I am convinced that the images of the first Bladerunner are more evocative and more real than the sequel. Fantastic !!

      Zimmer instead of Vangelis?? Wash your mouth! LOL. Seriously, I'd rather see it the other way around, Vangelis' score in the 2049. Then I might see it. The reason I haven't is the overwhelming lack of Vangelis.

    I've always been intrigued by the scene where Deckard is flipping through Leon's photos. He pauses on a picture of a woman and child on a porch and there's a fleeting moment when the shadows move. One of the moments Roy alludes to at the end?

    • @coolmedium
      @coolmedium  Год назад +2

      I've always wondered about that moment myself. Supposedly some of the continuity errors when Deckard listens to audio of the original Leon interrogation are intentional in order to trouble the idea of memory with the audience; if so, maybe this is meant to create the same effect

    Kind of like condensing the entire movie into a few moments...the sound as probably influenced by Vangelis soundtrack...please just finish the end...Roy's "time to die" narrative is cut off abruptly...
