It gives me a lot of energy to train because this music reminds me of my past state of body and mind. Honestly, the 10-day meditation helped me move forward. There is no going back. I believe in you too. Be a better person, strong in mind and body for yourself and the world. There will always be suffering, but our reaction to it can change through mind training. Also, pain in the gym can be alleviated with practice. You will begin to accept it and even love these feelings after gym.

And this is the schedule: 4:00 Morning wake-up 4:30-6:30 Meditate in the hall or in your room 6:30-8:00 Breakfast break 8:00-9:00 Group meditation in the room 9:00-11:00 Meditate in the classroom or in your room according to your teacher's instructions 11:00-12:00 Lunch break 12:00-13:00 Rest and talks with the teacher 13:00-14:30 Meditate in the hall or in your room 14:30-15:30 Group meditation in the room 15:30-17:00 Meditate in the classroom or in your room according to the teacher's instructions 17:00-18:00 Tea break 18:00-19:00 Group meditation in the room 19:00-20:15 Teacher's lecture in the classroom 20:15-21:00 Group meditation in the room 21:00-21:30 Question time in the room 21:30 Go to your room - turn off the light Now I think it's a huge exaggeration and I honestly don't recommend it. I'm glad I went and survived, but I don't think I'll ever take this course again. Especially since I gained a bit more knowledge and experience this year. I have also participated in other retreats and there is less body torture and the results are much better. I recommend Ajahn Brahm and Ajahn Sona on YT, check it out for yourself. They teach the path to enlightenment through pleasant meditations and letting go of the world of the senses, entering deep states of jhana meditation in which the ego disappears. And this (S.N.Goenka) technique involves scanning the body in detail and watching everything pass away. Vipassana is not just this one technique ,but also is an element of meditation through jhanas, but with such insights it makes much more sense than observing the physical body. In any case, the technique taught by the above-mentioned monks is much more consistent with the source material of the Suttas from the Buddha.
My mother always tells me to mediate, maybe I should from time to time. I’m not in the best state mentally right now so maybe I could meditate. This 10 day meditation program seems interesting.
@@astonmartin5445 Try some guided meditation with Ajahn Brahm. Also watch his Dhamma's Speeches, where he speak about Buddhas teachings. And then find meditation retreat nearby, for me the best is Theravada Buddism. It's closer to Buddhism teachings.
