Excellent breakdown. What I am most amazed by is that not only does Jayson Tatum play well to the eye, but he also passes all the advanced metrics in terms of efficiency, and win the share. He is worth every penny, and I hope that he stays a Celtic forever. When you mentioned him floating it, reminds me of Paul Pierce at times even though he’s more athletic and quicker the way that he slides their defenses using change of pace is similar. So many good players have used a change of pace, Iverson, pierce, Kobe, McGrath. They all did. He seems like he pick and chose certain parts of many peoples games. His economical minimalistic approach to layups reminds me of Ray Allen. His downhill attack to the basket is like Jordan.

Kawhi Leonard and Jayson Tatum as a combination of both each other's game is Michael Jordan.
Jayson Tatum with Kawhi's wingspan, defense abilities, hand size and post up game is literally Jordan. Kawhi with Tatum's offensive game the same result. I say that because Kawhi isn't even someone who hasn't notched a 50 point career high yet and been in the league how long now. Tatum is right there from being probably the best 2 way player league has ever seen. Needs to learn from Kawhi. Kawhi needs to learn from Tatum.

Wow. This is a great take. I can definitely agree with this. I honestly think that Kawhi's game resembles MJ a lot and I feel like Tatum resembles more Kobe but at the end of the day, their game is modeled after MJ like you mentioned. They definitely can both learn from each other and Tatum will definitely be one of the best 2 way players of all time. Thanks for the comment!

He’s averaging 27 and shooting no free throws..... once he fixes that up skies the limit

That’s a great point! 100% agree. He a very crafty around the rim which could be the reason why he doesn’t get a lot of foul call. Plus he does shoot a lot of jumpers as well between 3 pointers, mid range shots, and post fades. Thanks for the comment.

great video my man. just got yourself a new sub here. great observation of jaysons game. hes def wicked good at cutting off his defender on drives and i rarely ever hear that talked about. the combination of his response time to his defender opening their hips combined with his lateraly quickness. just has such high IQ with his iso. you def right his reads come off so natural. another move of his i have been noticing is this 'side' stepback 3. keep an eye out for that.
love JT foreal his ability to change up his speed and to improvise off clean reads just make him a natural unpredictable scorer who can get it from anywhere
