In highschool work was mostly volunteer work with children and fundraising, then in college, i had a summer job in tourism, and just before entering Saturn-Mercury Dasha at 23, i got a part-time job at a retail clothing shop while finishing the last year of university. Unfortunately it was a really unhappy period and left shortly after graduation. Was only worked there for a year and two months. The rest of the mercury antardasha was spent on my parents farm. I haven't left yet. In d1 my mercury is in virgo 12th house, it just got really hard to be around others and not fitting in was draining me emotionally. I'm just about to finish my Saturn-Ketu dasha and i am 26. So i have been unemployed for two and a half years. I applied this rule on my dad's d9 chart where Venus is placed in 11th house and Rahu is placed in 8th house(10th from Venus) so as per rule he should have been in internet related work. But he was in BMC as mechanic and retired as foreman. So sorry to say but this technique doesn't work for dad's chart.
Mam, not just 10th Venus. 10th form dasha lord or bhukti Lord, also get active during it's period. Example, if someone has Moon in 9th hse D9, during moon dasha or bhukti, 10th from it is 6th hse theme get active..

In highschool work was mostly volunteer work with children and fundraising, then in college, i had a summer job in tourism, and just before entering Saturn-Mercury Dasha at 23, i got a part-time job at a retail clothing shop while finishing the last year of university. Unfortunately it was a really unhappy period and left shortly after graduation. Was only worked there for a year and two months. The rest of the mercury antardasha was spent on my parents farm. I haven't left yet. In d1 my mercury is in virgo 12th house, it just got really hard to be around others and not fitting in was draining me emotionally. I'm just about to finish my Saturn-Ketu dasha and i am 26. So i have been unemployed for two and a half years. I do hope that saturn-Venus dasha does bring a job but i'm not sure when thats going to happen.

I'm very much strongly inclined to Mercury significations rather than Mars. Having examined some numbers of charts made me think that the DEPOSITOR or the SIGN OWNER of 10H from Venus is very important, and includes the parameters connected to the depositor and the planet posited in 10. However, I must thank you for bringing out this technique to our attention.

I applied this rule on my dad's d9 chart where Venus is placed in 11th house and Rahu is placed in 8th house(10th from Venus) so as per rule he should have been in internet related work. But he was in BMC as mechanic and retired as foreman.
So sorry to say but this technique doesn't work for dad's chart.
Rahu is also connected to ruling govt authorities..see sign and nak of rahu
