Not everybody liked my previous video about the Dale Watercross. I get it. This video is the opposite - maybe better part - of me. As a family we always like going on holiday to Sweden for about a month. Reason: we can get to places where no mechanical sound is. Because of real bad weather and temperatures dropping to 1°C at night, we rented a small cabin on a hill. We have reindeer, hare and a family of foxes around us. Every morning - around six and no matter where we stay - I like to swim in a river or lake and have a fresh ground coffee. Next to the cabin is a river with freezing water from the snow that is still up the mountains. Swimming is not possible but taking care of personal hygiene is. The title of this video... 'Wash and Coffee' would have been better but it took six hours to upload so let's stick with it. The river has a beautiful spot for the morning coffee too. I used the DJI Mini 3 Pro camera drone that I am reviewing at the moment to take some nice shots. The rest is shot with the DJI Pocket 2. Sound is sometimes a bit difficult since the river makes a lot of noise. Noise that needs to be there, unlike mechanized noise from snow scooters on water. I hope you like Vlog #10!

En... ja hoor zonder te twijfelen: hij zakt erin, ja ja fucking freezing. :-) Das wel stoer. Doe je niets tegen die muskieten? Geen antimuggen spray? Zou het werken, of wat vind je ervan, te veel gedoe, te ongezond, stinken? Al weer een tijd niet zo extreem gehad, maar wel gehad en ik vond het verschrikkelijk die beesten. Echt dus verpestend. Tja.
Ha Onno, 👍😉🙏 Koud water is super lekker. Of het stoer is.... beetje prettig gestoord wellicht. Die muggen... Vanmiddag tijdens het vissen zaten er tientallen muggen op mijn blote benen van me te smullen. Op mijn schouders een stuk of vijf steekvliegen. Nauwelijks gemerkt. Nu ook geen bulten, jeuk of rode plekken. Mijn vrouw en ik hadden het er net over; zou ik resistent geworden zijn. Er was een tijd dat ik het ook vond jeuken als de hel. En nu... naar bed. Ik hoop binnenkort naar Engeland Schotland Ierland te gaan en ben dus het meest bang voor... die kut beesten. :-) Interessant dat je er geen last meer van hebt. Nooit van gehoord dat dat kan. Ik ben ook lang heel lang in Siberië geweest. Vandaar mijn muggen trauma en medeleven met de mensen die er wonen. Die droegen overigens netten over hun hoofd met hoed. Die konden er dus ook niet heel erg tegen. en gek genoeg: in 1995 was er juist daar nergens muggenolie oid te koop. Nergens! Heel apart. groet weer! 🙂
