I agree with basically everything except for the take on guacodile. The thing that makes it good is fast recharge allowing it to be spammable as an insta. It's hard to pick but I'd say tangle kelp is the worst big wave beach plant.

I totally agree with you. Guaco is NOT a peashooter that can rush the lane but a mini lawnmower that can be used many times. The damage it does while rushing the lane is very good for both its recharge and price

I would have said E.M. Peach for Far Future. It's another very specific use plant and it's pretty stupid to spend another seed slot on stunning mechs when you could blow them up with cherry bomb.
One problem is most of mecha in Far Future can survive an insta with the exception of shield mecha. So E.M. Peach while being niche is very useful thanks to it having large radius and long duration stun
Citron at the other hand, is terrible in every world, since it isn't even good in Far Future let alone any other world. The zombie density in PvZ 2 is simply will never work in favor of Citron ever
Cherry bomb has less radius and cant insta any mech beside the shield and the imp

Guacodile is one of the best plant in big wave beach. I'm a HUGE HUGE FAN OF TANGLE KELP!!! TANGLE KELP is like my favorite since PVZ 1,2 and 3!! But if I were to pick between the two, I pick tangle kelp as the worst in big wave beach because c'mon! Guacodile isn't the worst either... Both of them are amazing

Never really liked the plant especially since it gets replaced later on by way better plants. 2nd pick is cappage pult.
2: ancient Egypt - grave buster
Just use literally any plant at all. Only useful in dark ages tbh

3: pirate seas - coconut cannon
Way too f’ing expensive for being a worse citron

4: Wild West - split pea

celery stalkers good for early/mid game, Along with potato Mine.
Cabbage pult is undoubtedly the worst tutorial Plant by far, Peashooter is so much better, only reason to pick it over Peashooter is it's plant food for specific stages.
Garlic is a better 2nd pick or even Worst plant of NMT imo, Garlic has way too much niche strategies, along with that, every world has atleast 1-2 zombies that nullify (Wizard, Octo, Snowball thrower, Shovel zombie), Just ignore (dodo, Breakdance zombie's ability, Piano zombies ability) or instakill garlic (any gargantaur, Shovel zombie In the far right lanes which is where garlic is usually placed, Torch zombie, fisherman zombie, and Many, many more.)

3:02 spring bean with plant food and blover is actually a good duo because blover will wipe out all zombies without killing them all
from what i recall that was patched when arena's first came to the game, reinforce mint does serve the same purpose with blover however
How I would fix these plants
1- Cabbage Pult: Make it hit zombies before being on the lawn, or decrease the sun cost (this doesn't make sense, I don't know what I was thinking)
2- Grave Buster: Make it cost 25 sun but have a 10 or 5 second recharge.
3- Spring Bean: Make it have a 5 second delay and bounce back 2 tiles, has to compete with chard guard.
4- Split Pea: Make it cost 100 sun, Simple!
5- Citron: Make it shoot more frequently.
6- Sun bean: Sun beans worse than magnet shroom, okay? Make it cost 0 sun. Fine, I'll do magnet shroom
7- Magnet shroom: Make it cost 50 sun and decrease the recharge time.
8- Guacodile: I personally think and tangle kelp are worse but okay: Make it cost 100 sun and make it do more damage.
9- Tangle Kelp: Make it cost 0 sun.
10- Hot potato: Make it's recharge better, still would be bad though, so maybe make it an instant that can kill frostbite caves zombies as well?
11- Gold Leaf: Make it cost more sun but DECREASE THE RECHARGE!!! I feel like a 100 sun and 5 second recharge is good.
12- Endurian: Make it cost as much sun as wall nut as endurian is arguably worse than wall nut.
13- Intensive carrot: Make it cost 25 sun less than the plant it's imitating and make it's recharge 10 seconds.
14- Garlic: Make it cost 25 Suns and lower the recharge to 10 seconds.
15- Spore Shroom: Make it cost 0 sun but make it's recharge longer like 25 seconds.
16- Grimrose: Make it's recharge 5 seconds but make it cost 125 sun.
This took 26 minutes to make.

I think Spore Shroom is worse than intensive carrot. If you lose a plant that costs like 300 sun. Instead of stalling and waiting to get the sun needed to replace it, just use intensive carrot and get it back. So if you like using expensive setups, you’ll like intensive carrot

Special zombies on his home world don't even eat plants when their jams are playing + very low health for a plants that's literally made to get eaten

i would never call the magnet thing to be the worst at least because there's the 80's in which it can insta kill the punk zombies without much recharge
I hate some "extra hard competition" event - western competition. The last stage, when you have to beat the boss. There is no plants to attack or even to stop the boss from destroying your plants - they give you spikeweed, hypno shroom, electric currant, wall nut and iceberg lettuce. The only two ways to hit the boss - when zombie eat hypno shroom (but they walk veeeeeeery slow and boss walks and jumps very often and fast, so, it 85-90% possibility the boss will have no damage) or make a special attack with spikeweed.
But, the most annoying moment, which made me lose this level for 10000 times - are zombie chickens. And the only reason you fail with this level again and again, and again, and again - because there is no attacking plant. Boss attacks you too often, destroying the whole two lines of your plants - and you can do nothing with that, even with special attack - it doesn't stop him. Than, it releases the zombie with chickens - and you are done, because conveyor is too slow and you can wait several seconds for plants. And it will take a decades till it give you a plant just to stop or kill running chickens - you must have at least two plants on each of empty line, but conveyor doesn't give you a chance.
I play this game for many years, my plants are pretty strong, but I always lose this "extra hard wildwest" last level for a multiple of times.
Technically, cabbage pult is better than peashooter since cabbage pult can hit over grid items

Well it depends on two things: synergy and plant food. Arguable which one has better plant food, but peashooter definitely has more synergies with things like torchwood. Neither are very good, but you get the point.

@@DJ_Wolfy5 Well, I hate the leveling system, but level 20 peashooter is honestly a lot better than a level 20 Cabbage-pult. Why? Well, Cabbage-pults damage stays the same for 11 LEVELS! Cabbage-pult’s damage at level 20 is 120, Peashooter’s is 110. However, Peashooter has much better attack speed, making it so much better than cabbage(at higher levels, especially). Peashooter isn’t a great plant, but cabbage isn’t either. (Why have I just been clowning on cabbage)
Grid items are never a problem and cabbage is just a worser peashooter
I agree with all of these except guacodile and somewhat intensive, guacodile is best used as sort of an insta, it has fast recharge, and its sun cost doesnt matter in a game like pvz2, and when you place it right next to a zombie, it ends up doing more damage, and i think garlic is just worse than intensive, not only does most the worlds have a zombie that can instantly kill plants, its hp is just so trash.

For lost city its kind of a tough pick between Gold Leaf and Endurian.
People have said that Endurian fails as a wall plant and I agree as its stats speak for how bad it is. It has less health than a normal wall nut while costing twice as much and the chip damage not being very much.
Gold Leaf is bad because the gold tiles take so long to produce another sun, it takes too long to pay itself back. At least its doesn't take space.
Magnet shroom helps a lot in neon mixtape tour with the arcades and all the bucket heads they can send out and punk zombies

Agree with everything except Guacodie because it has fast recharge and the fact that it’s basically a mower when the zombie comes too close. Grim Rose can be useful in SOME situations but there are better instas like Cherry Bomb, Grapeshot, etc.

Cabbage pult is better than peashooter because it can kill zombies behind graves which makes grave busters useless and it does the same damage but peashooter has a better plant food but who cares about that anyway. and also cabbage pult can damage flying zombies and shield zombies and for the guy that thinks peashooter is better because of torchwood who the heck uses peashooter with torchwood? So I think cabbage pult is better for early game than peashooter (this is just my opinion so feel to disagree if you want)

I personally think garlic is the worst plant in the whole game. In Pvz1 It was mid but usable because it was made to be used in tandem with gloom shroom. But gloom shroom was replaced by the almost as bad as garlic phat beet. And if you say that gloom vine exists…yes but it’s not an adventure plant. You need to gain it through other methods. So yeah. Garlic is the worst plant in pvz2 because it lost the only thing that made it decent from Pvz1. Also if you want to get zombies into other lanes…sweet potato and hot date are more reliable,but they need to be obtained through other methods.

I dissagree on split pea,One of the world you forgot is Lost City.The digger guy has a immunity,peashooters (or any other shooting plant except cabbages) cant kill the digger guy because of the shovel,Split pea can bypass that by hitting BACKWARDS.Sincd Digger guy is by now in every level.

Have you tried using Sun Bean in Arena and Penny's Pursuit? It's actually better than Gold Bloom because of the faster recharge and the zombies are tankier. Oh sure, it has competition from Solar Sage but both are good.
Yeah that is probably it's strongest use. It's honestly crazy in those modes.

Ancient Egypt: Repeater, you already have the boomerang boi, why do you will even need Repeater?
Pirate Seas: No need to explain and say plant's name
Wild West: Split-Pea, he is useless if you use the plant food on the boomerang boi and if you already have plants like Starfruit -and Cattail-
HOUSE OF MY OC!?: Hot Potato, it's just useful for this world, in other world you can't even choose her
Lost City: Golden Leaf, i thought he was useful, but when i used him as a sun producter, i change my mind
Neon Mixtape Tour: Spore Shroom, all plants on the world are great in my opinion, but, for this guy, let me just give a example:if the objective of a level is to you not let like 0-3 plants die, that means he is THE WORST plant to you use, cuz he spawns himself on zombies' bodies, making the challenge harder, you will only survive him if there isn't a stantly-kill zombie and already have Pumpkin
Dark Ages: Sun Bean, you will only use him in the level that has the objective of you collect a amount of suns and you can't use other plants except him
Jurassic Marsh: ANY OF THEM, all of them are goats
THE BEACH: same as Pirate Seas
Classic World: Shadow Shroom, it's just Stalia but less useful

Premium Plants: Seashroom, IS POPCAP DRUNK, WHY DID HE PUT THIS LITTLE CHEAP THING ON THE PREMIUM PLANTS

Alright, well, time to dissect this video and leave my own thoughts on what I think differently (interaction helps the video grow anyways lmao)
Spring Bean, nor the Spikeweed (or it's far better option the Spikerock), are the world's worst plant. Given how you used the argument of "it doesn't do much to help in other worlds", that same argument could be applied to plants like E.M.Peach, Lily Pad, or even Grave Buster. I personally think that Coconut Cannon is the worst PS plant, given its high cost, slow recharge, and even slower firing rate.
I don't think Split Pea is the worst, rather Lightning Reed is. Either you have a few Reeds down and they don't help much, or you have a ton of Reeds and they carry the level for you without much pushback.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting you to say Magnet Shroom is a worse pick over Sun Bean. Given how often that Buckets, and especially exclusive to the world, Knight Helmets get used, Magnet Shroom does way more good than Sun Beam ever will.
Honestly, while I do agree with saying Gold Leaf is worse, I'm not much of a fan of you naming Gold Bloom, a Premium Plant, as one of your primary examples of better producers.
Given how much NMT hard-counters its own plants, I wasn't expecting in the SLIGHTEST for you to even think about considering Intensive Carrot as the worst. Sure it's forgettable sometimes, but it's valuable if you have a heavy sun-cost average loadout. Instead of spending sun to plant an entirely new expensive plant, you could use Intensive Carrot to continue building your sun economy, for the long run. A better choice would've easily been Garlic, given how most, if not all the specials, don't eat during their jam tracks, which effectively renders Garlic COMPLETELY USELESS for the majority of levels.
I wouldn't say Grim Rose is worse than Night Shade, given how the former can be used to insta-kill up to 3 zombies, or do HEAVY damage when shadow-powered, and the latter just becomes usable beyond its first 3, somewhat slow attacks when shadow-powered.
Extra Notes: If we're taking leveling into account, then plants like Grave Buster, Citron become better, either through having an explosion after eating a grave, or just having a much faster attack speed, (and pierce iirc).
