What a brilliant idea. Thanks for sharing your tutorial. I'd say that the end result looks more stunning than if I had my canvas framed at a professional framer's shop. I mean, they are good at it but this alternative way of "framing" your canvas makes this frugal painter have a big smile! Thanks a lot.
This is BRILLIANT you are AMAZING ! I can’t believe I didn’t think of using my poly clay ! (I make jewelry ) I can’t wait to try this. I was gonna go to the thrift store and buy vintage frames but they are still expensive. I found a good strong picture w/ frame (wooden) I painted over an ugly picture and used it for my mount Fugi. It looks great. But even that ugly wooden framed picture was 5$. Your idea is almost free ! I love you Ms Lizzie you rock !
That's so nice of you, thank you! I was thinking it would save people a ton of money and there are so many design possibilities! I would love to see what you come up with!😉
Amazing! My favotite canvas print has been damaged at the edges so I will definitely give this DIY a try! I would love to see nautical or whimsical themed DIY frame vidoes like this!
I am glad this inspired you! Good luck fixing your favorite and thanks for watching!

This is gorgeous and so clever. It wasn’t exactly what I’d been looking for however it’s WAY better than my original idea. Thank you so much for your gracious sharing.
Thank you so much! There are endless design possibilities for this type of project, I will most likely do a few more different ones in the future. Glad you liked it, thanks for watching!😉
Hermoso trabajo, al comienzo piensas que es un trabajo de decoración con con blondas y cordones y luego ves que se convierte en una obra de arte, felicitaciones, muy lindo y da un enorme valor a lo que ahí se aplique, gracias.
Thank you very much! I always have a vision of what my idea will look like. I am pleased when the outcome is close to what I wanted it to be. I am glad you liked it!☺️
Another super job. The darker gold 'antiques' it well. The silicone moulds - I'd never seen those, I'll keep my eye out for them. Very effective and satisfying job, thanks Lizzie I enjoyed that.
Would putting the glue on while the sculpey is still in the mold and just flip over the mold onto the placement and remove at that point?..less tearing and adjusting....?
if i had buy all the stuff you need to do that and put all the work to it, it would be actually cheaper just to buy directly a frame instead of making one 😂
You could, but then it wouldn't be art, and you'd just have another mass produced frame that many others have. I didn't go out and buy my supplies just for this. It was made out of extra pieces of trims and supplies that I had laying around my studio. Thanks for watching!😉
This is BY FAR one of the most creative things I've seen! You've given me a few THOUSAND new ideas!!! Lol 😆 Thanks for sharing 👍
That's very nice to hear, thank you! I wish you good luck with your future ideas!😊

Thanks Mark! It's so nice to see your interest in my other hobbies aside from woodworking...you must also be a well rounded crafter😁
@@myambitiousart Actually I am a very well rounded person, but the doctor is insisting that I rectify this...
