I think you need to sandpaper your multimeter probes, they are kinda slow reading and something is just weird about them, also if there are 3 - capacitors in series and one is shorted, shouldn't the shorted one be pulled out and just no need to replace it I think.
Love your videos, I would love to see you do more real - time repairs like Sorin Electronics thing that would be dope

If 1 in row of 3 or 4 is shorted, just get it out, it'll work even without replacement in 95% of cases. And those 5% are mostly GPUs.

Great question! To check if a soldered CPU is shorted, you can use a multimeter to measure the resistance across the CPU pins. If you get a reading of zero ohms, that's an indication of a short. Stay Tuned for upcoming videos
