Remember that my Apex Legends ranking all legends season 20 is more so about my experience and what you prioritize in Apex Season 20 might be different. Also, my season 20 tier list incorporates or talks mostly about Apex legends new upgrade system but note that with my best legend apex legends season 20 it does take in account their entire kit of abilities. Revenant is litwrally super OP right now. Making him B tier is wild

Revenant is still a selfish legend, he only helps with getting kills, but provides nothing for his team

I get what you mean but ranked it’s not ALGS. Almost every pred uses Rev for a reason. Extra shield from Rev ult + Conduit q it’s insanely strong against anyone even if his ability just provides something for himself.
@@romanrules007he’s a tank and with support he blows holes into any stray person making it a 2v3 for your squad.
Maybe for more experienced players, only real broken part of his kit is his ult, and majority of the time i see revs using their ult to get them back in the fight when their actual sheilds run out. Arguably easier to take him out that way too since his hitbox is bigger when ulting
Ngl ash surprised me. That tac upgrade where it lasts for 24 seconds is very useful for blocking areas off during a push or mentally deterring enemies that push you
Loving the double stars snare it's a death sentence for ppl trying to make plays even horizon can't do what she wants with the double snare it's wonderful 💪🏿

Yeah, but if they are using any movement legend, they can easily get out of the snare. For example, if you use octane you could just stim out of the snare.
She still needs buffs and/or rework

I gotta agree with@@benstrangvideos. Valk is just so useless as long as evac towers are a thing
If evacs were removed or never were implemented, valk is A/S tier. But with them, she’s useless. And there’s also jump towers, less common than evacs but are still prominent.
What??? Rampart in C. Her perks are insane. Faster handling and spin up with shiela - OP. And the walls giving ballistic ult relaods - OP
Maybe. Not too big of a fan of Sheila as I find its easily avoidable. Reloads behind walls feel very limited as well to me. I think shes higher in ranked, just not for general play imo.
@@TimProVision - i play her in both. She has two sperate loadouts of perks. Both sets are good but rampart is a very high skill ceiling legend. I wouldnt be surprised if we see her in algs even more. Shiela is way more useful now and her walls make her a half-support/defense half-assault character
I agree, this was a big oversight.. its ok if you don’t play her or specialise in her for your yt content but us rampart mains understand how big of a deal the new sheila upgrades are for our style of play

Newcastle's has this weird cat and mouse relationship going with Maggie this season. The shield can be easily denied by Maggie's drill, but the shield also blocks the wrecking ball.
As far as I know, the mobile shield is the only deployable fortification in the game that isn't destroyed by Maggie's wrecking ball. It's been fun trying to outplay all of the new Maggies that have sprouted up in pubs and ranked.
I have also noticed this. These two legends might be the direct counters to each other if played right. Will be curious to see how things go as the season progresses
Oh yes as a Newcastle main, Maggie’s is scary, what’s even scarier though is going against a Crypto with his ultimate at the ready, to pop my mobile shield which will force out my ultimate if I don’t have cover, so evac towers are definitely going to be the most important for me this season I guess.
I’m a loba main I’ve been using Maggie 2 riot drills and fire wrecking ball she is amazing. Love cracking someone low they hide I push em out 😂
Revenant is S Tier for ranked thats undeniable. Solo play survivability or team play getting off angles or rushing in with ult and slaying out. He does it all, hes a machine 😬
Also if the enemy has high ground. He can silently ambush them. And if lets say a tall wall is in the way and it's final zone then Rev can really help.

Cool story man i whipped so many rev butts already and the season just started. If i see bro with his ult activated it's like a giant bullseye, you ain't getting the jump on nobody pal.
@@shalindelta7 Revenant is suprisngly quiet for his size and movement. Sure his running is loud, but him climbing and crouching are just about silent. His Ult is loud but it doesn't have a directional sound it's almost the entire area, which adds to the panic of trying to find him.
you haven't met any good ones if they're trying to get the jump on you with the ult.
I played a bunch of ballistic last season and the one thing I can say about him is that he almost needs to be on a stack team, with the ability for him to swing with the entry and double off an opponent, if you have a competent entry then ballistic can thrive but he struggles as an entry himself
ballistic is good when SMGs are good. Having an SMG in his slind destroys
Rampart and ash both underrated. That greedy snare is nasty. When testing ramparts level 3 upgrades I was mowing down whole squads with ease.
ranking loba above rev is crazy... a movement ability that is better than path's in most cases, now has an even shorter cool down time, and an ult that can give you hundreds of extra health in a fight and a passive that can allow for vertical game play at any point vs a movement ability that leaves you vulnerable and doesn't go as far and an ult that makes getting loot easier which can be compensated for by being good at the game coupled with a passive that is actually useless anywhere past early game.
Rev’s tac doesn’t really assist in verticality. His climb helps with this, but pathy and Valk have rev beat in height. What makes Rev great is he closes gapes or creates them.
i said his passive is what does that and the thing with it is that it's near silent and still leaves you with your tac to get out if need be combined with the fact that it can still be used anywhere while for path you need to have something you can grapple to. Also it's mainly about the fact that on top of these moves he has something that directly helps him in regards to combat (other than getting in or out) meanwhile loba and path have fuckall@@patrickburton1401
i actually found ash amazing
many seasons later i now realise that using the tac to stop use of evac tower or just to trap them outside of the ring is actually very powerful
But very situational and half the legends can break out of her tactical. Meanwhile Horizon lift has a use in almost every single game scenario and it's on the same cooldown 💀💀💀

@@RoninGoddess its only legends with teleport abilities can rly break out, so basically wraith and loba and ofc ash with her own ult, everyone is is pretty much locked in a certain radius im fairly sure

As someone who’s always played a lot of legends and them being my favorite part of the game, this season is a good one for me
Great thoughts here! It just gives me dillemma. All legends that I like to play, are getting better and I struggling to find my current main one or two of those :) I have like 4-5 now to rotate and Mad Maggies was always something that I wanted to play and give a chance. Hard times when things are good :)
Hot take: revenant has a top 5 kit in the game for any mode. I know he doesn’t help his teammates in ranked but if you’re stacking you can make a good team comp which makes rev even more op, and if you’re solo queuing it’s not like helping your randoms works anyways
He does help his teammates in ranked lmao extra health=opening up fights for your team/holding a position with extra heath so your team can reset. Conduit and rev is so broken rn.
Pretty shocked rampart and mirage are so low they’ve been dominating the first two days for being non skirmishers. So many decoys in complete chaos
Love the Maggie buffs, been my main since release. I also love all the non Maggie players trying to pick her up cause now she's "OP" and then watching them hit 1 pellet in 2 shotgun shots since they all crutched so hard on SMG sprays 😂
Fr bro, I've been maining her for so long now I can't imagine picking any legend over her. So used to her kit. And now with all her buffs and perks it's our time to shine. I just hope respawn releases her heirloom soon

At this point, they just need to rework Ash. Her Perks, after using them myself as an Ash Main, are underwhelming. However I will concede her mini-Survey Beacon for pinging Death Boxes is pretty good, especially in mid to end game.
I think she's pretty powerful with the right perks. Some numbers could be moved around to make em better but she's got alot going for her right now
@@MaVrik426 Worst rotate tool in the game, and a tactical that really doesnt do much compared to other tacticals.
@cadeptt See that's the thing. It's not a rotate tool and that's why everyone uses her wrong. She's an assault legend. Her ult is for pushing or a vantage point on your enemy mid fight
@cadeptt her tac is pretty pretty weak by its self I'll admit but pair it with nades and it's a mini horizon ult especially with her new perks.
@@MaVrik426 In ranked, I think Rev does it better and for Comp, using her ult aggressively is a death sentence.

I was a Valk, then Seer main for three seasons each. I took up Mad Maggie in Season 17 and continue to enjoy playing her.
Revenant and Ballistic are two really fun legends, though their abilities are very specific.
As a wattson main I’ve been waiting for this day since day 1 she crazy ingame love her

i like playing Ash, so i was hoping for some perks that affect her ult since that's pretty much the only reason i play her, doesn't really matter what they do to her tactical i just think it's boring. a perk that extends her ults range by 20% or reduces the cooldown would have been nice.

All that I want to point out is that cryptos emp range buff is only 25%, and it is definitelyharder to push with that extended range.
Yeah i think wider range is worse because it hits you and your team more. Crytpos perks are the worst by far imo
@@jakfrost2 yeah, and I also hate that people rank crypto high because they only know his abilities on paper. Though through meta shifts, his emp is just better when dealing with wattsons and gibraltars.

@@hikmettatli126He's also smoother to play now since they made getting in and out of his drone quicker. So he's whatever for people who don't play him but for people who can already use him well, he's even better. The EMP range buff is def a double edged sword though.
Not only that but in high ranks theres alot of conduits which kind of act like a direct counter to crypto. You emp a whole team and two of them immediately get back to full armor. Crypto just isnt good in this meta

Don't get me wrong, I love playing Crypto as he's my third most played this ranked season behind Lifeline and Revenant, but the guy deserves C or B tier.
His drone hp nerf is still apparent, where they don't even need to one clip it. I wish his ult is stronger, but that's a personal thing. He needs some auto with the drone so it doesn't just sit there when you want to move or fight while they can shoot it down in 2 seconds. He also needs a passive, his passive should already be an obvious thing for his tactical. Gaining a new passive like being able to not be hit by traps, like Ash snaires, Cataylst tac, or Caustic traps, or detected scans would be amazing. A way to balance it is that when scanned or when he gets in the vacinity of a trap, it shows that a "Crypto appears". It would also be great if he could hack shield energy.

This season is amazing the perks make this feel like a new game and they show exactly how they give you ranked points no more hidden bs best season in awhile .
I think ash honestly needs a rework her tactical is cool in theory but it underwhelming her passive is useful but it only gets real use with three stacks and then her ult could probably stay with a feature where if you use it 5 seconds after the first time you use it you can pop it one more times

Id personally put rampart in ( A ) tier , for ranked she amazing put using cover and helping teammates as her Sheila is perfect for pressure
Rev is literally #1 rn. Knocks resisting tac is busted and conduit+rev is everywhere rn. 250 kills already this season with Rev AND got his heirloom the first day.
A buff idea for ballistic
I've always felt that ballistics smart bullet should keep overheating the person's gun for a short duration but only the gun that they were holding at the time they were hit and if they weren't holding a gun whichever gun they had holstered would be the gun that's affected by the smart bullet that way they can a still fight but only with their secondary while the smart bullets active it would also make his tac way more useful during fights but it wouldn't op
So quick little example would be if you had a 301 and a peacekeeper and you get hit by a ballistics tac while holding the 301 you can still fight with the 301 but it'll keep overheating while the tac is active but if you switch to the peacekeeper you can fight without the fear of overheating so your survival will depend on both skill and if you picked a good secondary also if you're quick enough because you get notified that you're about to be hit by a smart bullet you can switch to the gun you don't mind losing mid-battle almost rendering his tac useless in that instancet I would really like to hear what you guys think about my idea for his buff
My main issue with Ash is the ult. I thought they were gonna do what they did to lobas tactical make it go farther but they didnt and that is a big miss with Ash in my opinion

The legend perk system just made me more confused on who I gotta main this season they are all so good
Some buffs to ash could be going through ult reloads her weapons once per ult or an increase to range
as someone who loves watson i think her perks could be better in a way i do love the heal tho
For me Octanes upgrades just make him more fun and not really stronger to help the team a ton, I think he's more like D or E

I’ve been playing apex since week 1. It has been awhile, but this feels like the best season so far
I respectfully disagree with Ballistic. While yes his ability might not be the best it does not take long for the tracking to lock on all you need to do is have it out and have line of sign for a split second then swing back into cover and aim the ability so it goes around the wall and for his sling weapon buff if you have a sniper in that spot it gets white attachments but gets an Hcog sight (the blue Acog) so you are getting a sniper that already have a pretty good sight on it. This leaves your two main weapons to cover close to medium range. While I don’t believe he is A or S tier I do think that he is at most B and not trash tier.
Maybe a good buff for ballistic might be adding hop ups to guns that can’t get them anymore like Prowler and select fire or triple take and slide shot when he uses his ult.
100% agreed, was playing in the range and figured out 3030 gets optic, sniper gets x2 off the bat in sling if you are dropping and find a sniper 1st gun. The range is now 90 for ult. Able to shut down 2/3 players firing. Would put him A if played right. B for someone who doesn’t know how to utilize things well.
Im so happy with the fuse perks cause something i do a lot is when im runing i shoot a kustler at a door or something and people walk in to it now when they do it i get speed boost so i can get away faster now
pesonally i use rampart not because she strong but because i perform better with her kit\playstyle
and remember if you loving ONLY meta characters and throw them away after nerf,you dont love the character, you love meta

I been going crazy with crypto ngl. Damn near infinite wall hacks and that emp makes every squad run in fear.

Looking at a Maggie, Valk, Crypto stack as a pretty interesting combo
I've been playing seer cause of the challenges but he's been soooo crazy like literal wall hacks and his tact is so good after the purp perk
Im such a huge fan of this season. The armor changes I love, the ranked system is awesome, and I think Lifeline (my main) is much better with the perk to increase revive speed and get a free revive herself.
She also has her robot revive her teammates for her so you can even fight at the same time while the robot revives 20 percent faster.
I kinda disagree on Seer. The movement speed upgrade put him back to the mobility he had at launch, which makes pushing with information much easier.
And scan can now last up to 4 seconds while also silencing.
The only downside is the same one he’s always had, which is that he’s bad for solo queue since you have to vocalize what you see and players don’t communicate.
But that’s normal. I’d say he’s at very least upper C tier. B tier if you’re good with him and on a team.
It's to see watty on top but that just means she's gonna get nerfed😢 hopefully it's like that her arc star passive can onky have a max of arc 3 arcs on the ground
I think seer should be higher (even higher than C). Also think that ash should join ballistic in the F tier cus her tactical also got nerfed. Thoughts?

I don’t like this seasons changes, the crafter is weird and worse, i don’t really like the new UI idk why it just makes it harder to upgrade my shield, I don’t like that you get evo points from random stuff. The upgrades are cool and all but some of them are useless and it’s harder to upgrade your shield

@actualjessielive783 the crafter was just being abused by teams in early/mid game. By just crafting meds, you could hang out in there till ring 2 closed (~10 mins or so). The evo system is really simple. You get points for using your classes extra passive abilities (assault bins, support bins, ring consoles, etc) and there's also harvesters. It opens up different styles of play. Thats all
@@actualjessielive783it’s way easier to upgrade shields bruh you’re yapping, instead of relying on damage they made it so you have 6 other ways of upgrading it, and the new crafter is more simple than the previous you’re just slow. Fast and efficient crafts what’s so confusing about it?😭
I mean I think this is pretty accurate. Kinda disappointed my rank got set back I worked really hard just to finally get to gold. I only started playing about a year ago but this seems to be the game I’m actually good at. I’ve been loving Ash and Seer with the update, I think ash has been OP at least when I use her, but I wish her ult went farther. Used to main conduit and loba mostly. Lobas bracelet perk is great though. And so is pulling a 3rd item. But ash and seer have been fun for my aggressive plays.
2:08 give Ash two arc snares at level 2 armor and the ability to make her Ult a 120 sec cooldown
I honestly prefer the bigger drill for Maggie than the extra drill.

@@TimProVisionit’s literally wrong in so many ways. Saying catalyst s tier is insane. She literally got nerf and her perks aren’t buffs at all. All they do is revert some nerfs. Her spike doesn’t do damage unless you look at it too :/
Dude the cover me peark for Bangalore is OP it is auto-tracking ping for 3sec you can auto-track enemies through smoke etc.

Crypto is one of my favorites but people don’t know how to play him well. I have joined rank matches and gotten crap for using him and by the end people are thanking me. Now he’s got upgrades on top of it. Not many play crypto like they should. People don’t understand a good crypto will call out teams near by or not constantly, find them, scan beacons from a distance to distract. His collect banner and revive instant skill. How to emp perfect time without hitting team and park drone on top after during confusion to mark now damaged and stunned players. Cliched a lot of squad wipes with him and keep team from getting jumped
Rampart is A tier only when she has level 3 perc, the faster handling shiela is OP
Rampart I think picking up and cover Through doors and up to 30 m out in the open would have been nice

I need help with deciding on getting, I am a gibby/crypto main and I am deciding whether i get catalyst, new castle, or conduit. I enjoy playing the role as a support legend or being the one to help others, which is new castle and conduit for me, but catalyst is the trapper legend i am looking for aswell and with her kit being so good for intel from her tactical spiking when enemies are close to other factors she has i cant decide on who i want to buy. Any feedback/help would be appreciated.
I would recommend Conduit for you. Even after the nerfs, she is still very good. Besides that, support legends are able to craft banners for free now.

See now Gibby I think people are overlooking the left side of the perks. 50 health on revive and a 25% shorter time between tacticals is huge in my opinion. Allows you to quite aggressively bubble push teams and if a team mate gets knocked they’re reviving with 50 health rather than 20. That being said, I wonder if it stacks with the Gold Knockdown Shield? With that you Res with 50 shields and 70 health so would it combine for 100 health and 50 shields?
It will only heal your health to the fullest. It won't give you shields.

No he's not a recon or control legend but his ult and tact are extremely underrated. His ult his huge when your team is low on ammo anytime during the game going into a fight and his tac makes it easy to 1v1 but with 2? It's massive in my opinion as I've won 2 v1 fights because of it .
I get this is an opinion but everyone thinks ballistic is useless but he's really not.
I don't think hes useless, just comparably worse than many of the other legends.
@TimProVision I can understand why some may look at him like that but I've played him since his release and I don't know many games we've won in the last ring with multiple teams and his ult coming clutch when you dont have time to search boxes for ammo I mean to me its a huge advantage and the reload speed, add 2 more tacs and to me its unfair lol but to each their own. I just started watching your channel n I like it..just don't like how everyone sees ballistic as low tier everywhere lol

Hey, Rev probably wants to prioritize close range so Mastiff, PK, Volt, CAR are all great options. Also might want to think about poking from far. So you can poke then tactical leap. I'd run 3030 or G7 to back up the close range option

Who let bro cook? Ballistic is underrated as hell and has carried me and my team to victory many times. That may just be my aggressive play style but still. Give the old man some love

Valkyrie in S tier is wild. Yes her ultimate goes higher and her tactical is wider but that doesn’t change anything. Evac towers still hurts her and there’s better rotational and combat legends that does her job more effective. She’s still an underwhelming pick I wouldn’t put her no higher than B tier.
Not an ALGS list but she is being used by like every team again. I wouldn't underestimate how good her passive buffs are

If a balloon replaces you as a valk player, you failed. I am sorry to say this, but there's no way around it.
@@TimProVision I gotta agree with @Shonen4Life. Valk cannot be ranked higher than B tier when a survival item has completely replaced her. A higher ult is good, but that also means you are in that launching animation for longer, which is when it's easiest to hit Valk and her squad in her ult (not saying it's easy, just easier than if they were already in skydive). I feel that evac towers need to be removed completely for valk to be anywhere near S tier
@@Beeggamr69 Actually I noticed that if you choose the higher ult you go up faster. Me and a friend wanted to test the difference and he went up way quicker than I did so she actually doesn’t stay in the animation longer. Plus a evac isn’t better than a valk ult considering she goes higher
I have no idea who to play this season with all these perks being added😂 Hopefully this tier list will help me make up my mind😂

My mains are Wattson, ash, conduit and sometimes one of the other legends.
Still think Crypto should get some kind of tech shield/invisibility while in his drone
No way . No one wants to see drones everywhere that would make him over picked .
A small shield, I'd be down for. No invisibility though imo.
Man I’ve mostly played seer so far this season to get his trials done. It’s been pretty terrible
My go-tos this season are Maggie, Conduit, Newcastle, and Wattson

One of ash’s perks should have been a longer ult range or improve the snare by making the radius of snare smaller. Too many legends can easily escape it especially horizon 🤦🏻♂️
If Seer's tactical was changed to fire like Revenants old silence grenade he'd be better imo.

Crypto's drone cooldown is too large and the emp should not damage himself. Makes an already tricky Legend almost impossible to play
I just made it to the rank above gold, and I've used balistic the enter time. I love bullying kids with his ultimate 😅
