I Must Try This! Thanks for Sharing 🎨👩🏼🎨🎨
@@shebalasvegas4741 You're welcome, I believe you'll create something wonderful 😊
What wonderful idea! This would be great for creating mountains on a painting. Spaghetti sauce comes in glass jars that would make good vases. This technique is a great idea for hiding the rings at the top.
@@maggiekehoe4614 Thank you so much 🙂 I've never tried applying it to glass so I don't know how it would behave 🤔 As for the mountains, it's great, i tried that👍Especially for achieving the effect of snow👌
@ I plan to mix it on palette paper and then apply it using a tiny spoon and palette knife. I don’t expect the glass to adversely affect the chemical reaction but you never know.
@@maggiekehoe4614 I don't think the glass will affect the chemical reaction, but I'm afraid it might separate from the glass when it dries. I advise you to make the mix in a bowl and feel free to add some wood glue, it might help it stick better to the glass
Foarte frumos!👍❤️
Thank you so much 😊
Thanks for the technique ☺️
@@artifexmom3824 You're welcome. 😊I hope you'll enjoy doing it as much as I do 😎
I always wondered how to make a mess
@@KingChampain Then just keep wondering... 😆 Or you could use your skills and imagination to apply this technique in creating some future masterpiece 😉😎. Have a good day, Cheers 😊
Lol😅
😅😅😅😅
Cool ❤
@@shebalasvegas4741 Thanks a lot 😊
Did it dry? Can i use this technique then gesso like usual?
Yes, of course, it must be dried for at least 48 hours. Near the end of the video you can see what it looks like when it dries. There's no point to use gesso over it, it will cover this beautiful texture. Have you seen any of my other videos where I use baking powder? There are many possibilities, you can do this technique over dried gesso or add gesso to the mixture. Be creative, it's very satisfying to experiment with it 😉 Enjoy the process and don't be afraid to make mistakes. If you want to give it a shine, use transparent collage gel or some similar medium over it. Even the ordinary hair spray will do the trick and make it look shiny😊 Best regards 😎
@@gaya-art thank you!! It worked well and the textured did stay when i tried gesso over it too 😃
@@sumyyadam632 You're welcome 😊 I'm glad you managed to get what you want 😀 How did you manage to keep the texture with gesso over it?🤔 I guess you applied only very thin layer?
@@gaya-art yes! I used a palette knife and stippling method to apply a thick layer of paint then once it dried i use a thin layer if mod podge glaze over it so it worked!
@@sumyyadam632 Excellent, good idea 👍 I'm glad it worked 😊

Hello, I don't know what this means, it's not translatable. Thanks anyway, same to you 😊 Cheers 😎
Hey this is awesome 😎 you use acrylic paints right just waterbased ones? As i do so myself too and from talcum to starch, salt, sugar, oeh yeah and now i got a lbs of rocks salt to do something with. Never used bakind soda before though and think it is a very awesome effect! Does it dry in the finish the paint would or does this change? ✌️
Thanks 😊 Yes, they are regular waterbased acrylic paints. It must not be touched until it has dried for at least 48 hours. After that, it stays as it is. Near the end of the video you can see how it looks when it dries. Keep up with good work and experiments! Stay well, Cheers 😊
Whoa; spongy
Yeah, quite an interesting thing to experiment and play with 😉 Thanks😊
I like the technique but dislike the background noise.
Thank you for your time and comment 😊 Interesting choice of words, did you intentionally say "noise" instead of "music"? 😉
Turn down the volume like I did.
I suggest you watch this video in shorts version, you won't need to turn down the volume for sure 😉😅

I would love to try this 👍❤️
Thank you
I have subscribed to your channel
Haha thanks, it's taking a bit longer, this is an edited video after all 😉😅 Feel free to try, it's very satisfying and enjoyable process😊
@@gaya-art yeah it looks great 👍😃 I love this texture.
Thank you...all the best for your texture art 👍😃
you didn't show us the whole painting; the mosaic part is gorgeous!
Haha. It was not possible to show the painting because this is not a painting 😆😅 Read the video title again. It is clearly shown in the video what the dried texture looks like, just before that mosaic 😉 Cheers
What was the finished picture?
@@janestocker Hello, I'm really sorry, but it's not clear to me what you're actually asking me?
Could have shown the pic at the end😮
Hello 😊 I did not put a picture because it is a demonstration of the painting technique and not a work of art. How the texture itself looks when it dries can be seen after 1:02 min. You may have accidentally missed it. Thanks for your interest. Cheers 😊
Interesting. Does it last long enough?
Thanks 😊 I'm sorry but I didn't really understand the question 😬😅 What exactly do you mean by "does it last long enough"?
What happened when paint dry? @@gaya-art

this is called "art"? 😱😱😱😱😱
Hahaha, good one👍 You're hilarious 🤣 It's highly recommended that you read the title carefully first, before leaving some thoughtless comment 😉 To be clear, this is a presentation of an abstract painting technique to create a unique texture with acrylic paints and baking powder, not a masterpiece. If you are interested in masterpieces, watch some of my other videos😎 Cheers!😊
Yes, this is art. Modern.❤
@@svetlanaulmann9104 Thanks, I'm glad you like it 😊
Everything is art❤
Just one of the technique. It's like drawing a stroke with a brush is not called art.
Did you try to mix it with washing powder or talcum powder? Just curious.
No I didn't. The baking powder was interesting to me because of its ability to raise the color and make it foamy. That's why I decided to experiment with it in different ways. For the mentioned powders, I don't see that they would do anything that interesting. I added sand of different grain sizes, cornmeal and coffee to get a very rough textures 😊😅
Ma perché? Che senso ha?
If you don't see the point of this video, it means it's not meant for you. This technique is primarily intended for people who like to create interesting and unique textures in their artwork. Thanks for your comment, Cheers 😊
What a godawful mess.
@@auldburdlaughin Thank you for your time and comment. Are you just another one who didn't read the title properly and think this is a painting or do you just not find this process and texture interesting in general?
@@gaya-art My apologies, I didn't intend to sound so rude! I use baking powder in a mix to clear blocked drains, sinks etc, and the result of your mix made me think of the reaction with the gunge in the drain. I certainly didn't think it was a painting. The particular colours used probably didn't help. I had no idea baking powder would react like that with paint - is there any problem with fumes, or any reaction with the paper? Personally, I don't like the result but that's likely due to my previous use of the substance. Again, I apologise for any upset caused.
@@auldburdlaughin Please don't apologise, you have every right not to like something. Don't worry, I'm not upset or insulted, I like to communicate with my community and I appreciate every feedback. I was just curious to know the reason, nothing else. It would probably squeeze and deform the paper while drying but on canvas it doesn't make any reaction. Thanks for your reply. Stay well, Cheers 😊
I've been thinking about what you said and wondering how it's possible to clean drains with baking powder so I did some research and realised that you must be using baking soda to do it... 😅😊 You would probably realise that before me if you read the video description. I wrote there as a notice for people who want to try this technique "Baking Soda is Not Baking Powder"
@@gaya-art Now I'm mortified! I really am an auld burd, so I'll put it down as an age thing 🤔 Thanks though, it's rather an important difference! (btw, I've never baked anything in my life...)
Not good... garbage!
Hello, thank you for your time and comment 😊 The lack of good ideas and the absence of imagination on how to use this technique does not necessary mean that it is garbage 😉 Did you even read the title or description of this video?
Geez, he's _demonstrating a technique_ for painters/artists/creatives to experiment with. As we've gathered by your commentary, those descriptors clearly do not apply to you so just move along and put your energy into something more useful than insulting someone openly sharing a simple art technique with the world that many creatives _will_ appreciate.
@@4UnlimitedBEingAs I Do!!! ❣️🌹❣️ Thanks 😍

"That" supposed to be exactly what is written in this video title and you would know that if you read it 😉😁 Have a good day, Cheers 😎
