We travel regularly (mainly in the South East) and there are treasures to be found anywhere. We've hit KILLER sales in rural Georgia and Tennessee. We've done awesome in West Palm Beach Florida. We've found treasure in lakefront communities in Alabama. One of our best sources is a retail store in a suburban Tennessee town. You can find things anywhere if you're able to get out of your comfort zone.
Sometimes in-demand items are not fun or sexy. I was sharing my estate haul with my mom, I said I bought a bunch of filters and that sounds extremely boring. But I should make a lot of money off of them within two weeks time and money is nice. (I sold most of them within two days instead of two weeks)
100% to the bringing someone else with you comment if you've got friends / family who want to go out with you. I bring my mom with me on the weekends because she loves doing garage sales and thrift stores. She always finds stuff I would've never looked at previously or that I just simply missed because sometimes I get hype focused on certain items.
I am a video game seller and do ask for games at garage sales, but 50-70 percent of the profit I make at garage sales are golf clubs, cameras, electronics etc.. all the other people asking for games leave all that stuff
I drive 2002 & 1996 ford rangers. Never have to worry about house getting robbed. They see what's in driveway & say no money there. Plus cheap insurance.
Being in old growth forest with no infrastructure around and all on my lonesome. I've learned to harvest wasps' nests, lava rock, pine cones, agates, and recently attempting taxidermy. #Locationspecific
The problem Sonny has is he’s too niched down. I source Vegas regularly and I find good stuff every time I go. JRide should know that because he sources in Vegas regularly too.
'$10,000 in inventory for $180'...'Anyone can make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year if they have access to a smartphone'...I sincerely hope no one is taking this stuff to heart. That's not how business works. Business is about repeatable processes. Gross sales and net sales are not remotely the same thing. Also, eBay to eBay works if you live in the United States. Anywhere else in the world and that model is completely inaccessible because of international shipping and customs. I don't get this selling-a-dream stuff. You can make money re-selling, but to hype it as a $300,000/year gig is nuts. A single person doing $150,000 gross on eBay and other platforms is probably a top 5% re-seller.
Agree,I used to blame thrift stores not being enough when things used to be plentiful. Wasn’t until way later my eyes opened up searching else. Dont know until you do.

It’s great having One Foot Flipper in the house! I hope you bring him back on in the future.
Three good looking dudes in this video!

Jride dropping some knowledge here. Thanks
I’m from Florida ( clothing) and I’m 80% year over year. I do drive to get inventory sometimes 3 hours away but that the hustle

All my pest control trucks were early 2000s rangers
Great job you guys.❤

I like to test myself, but am always learning. I am getting better at not making strict rules for myself that has me stuck.
@@SonnyLasVegasThe more you niche down the more the algorithm keeps giving your live listings a boost similar to your sold items

Be top 5% my whole philosophy is that anyone can. It’s all up to you
What?? Who thinks Florida is a bad place for reselling?
You would be shocked lol
I’ve been in sales my entire life. It’s not the land it’s the man. If somebody’s blaming the land there soon to be washed up.

Recommendation: More videos. Great job. Thanks for the info.
It’s been something I brought up. We both have a lot going on, but are working on more, especially more guest appearances.
@@SonnyLasVegas It is great when you have guests so we can hear their opinion on your topics. :)
