@@Nendirmwa hi thanks for watching, really appreciate it ☺️ we are still using both programs. RightStart only goes up to year 8 whereas Math-U-See covers even the highschool years. So that's why we are doing both programs. I hope that helps ☺️
I’ve been watching your videos for a while now. It would be so helpful to know how you go through teaching a lesson with new concepts. I have such a hard time getting my 4 year old to focus for just a few minutes. I’m always looking for better strategies. How did you get your children to start math so early? We’re still learning simple counting!
@@valeriebrooks3305 Hi there! Thank you for watching. I hope you've found it all helpful. When my kids were little we did quite a lot of reading together, especially number books and counting books and that really got them excited about the concept of numbers and the idea of counting. After that we moved on to doing shelf work/Montessori activities. I have a whole playlist dedicated to just math related activities that I did when they were little ruclips.net/p/PLhYTzodSZwktraQ4UbeaypmtKhZDg8YF3 The other playlist is: ruclips.net/p/PLhYTzodSZwkvwaojZzPMZATDDAm9LDmxr These kinds of activities really got them engaged in the subject and after these we moved on to RightStart Mathematics. That was a great move for us because it's taught using a hands-on, game-based approach and they really loved it. Since your little one is now four years old, I'd actually recommend RightStart Mathematics, because it's a fun way to do math. And I think that's the idea and the answer to your question: if they can find it fun then they can concentrate. Our kids don't use screens. That could be a factor too. They were generally really excited to do activities and lessons.
Love to watch your videos & excited the way your kids are getting on
Thank you so much! That’s very kind of you to say ❤️
Hi, love your videos! Did you switch from Right Start Math or do you both? Currently trying to choose.
