My verses are 1 Peter 4:12-all of chapter 5, I call it my comfort passage for personal reasons.
I know this is 10 months old, but it came up in my general search of “Christian SAHM DITL.” Growing up, I had always heard about “the Proverbs 31 woman” on Mother’s Day in church. But it wasn’t until I was a lot older, a mom of 3 at this point, that is really resonated with me… just how much she does and is recognized for, all for God’s glory. Such a beautiful and encouraging portion of scripture.
Yes! Just read through that chapter again recently! so so encouraging!
2 peter 3:8 but do not overlook this one fact beloved that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day
My husband and i went through infertility, and i read this verse when i was unknowingly pregnant. With timing, it could have been the very day of conception. I remember with tears in my eyes i journaled, "jesus is never late," having full faith that one day he'd fulfill my prayer for a child. The Lord doesn't know slowness as we do. That everything is truly his timing. So the next time i feel impatient for my prayers to be answered i think back to this verse and moment and maybe little do i know he already answered it 🤍

This has been my favorite Bible verse this year. God has done some wonderful things in my life this year. 🛐🙏🙌✝️

Such an inspirational vlog! Would love to hear more about how you meal plan and what a typical week looks like meal-wise. We have started shopping at Aldi (love it!) and hoping to get better at meal planning and budgeting in that area.
