I just love how honest you are. I also feel like we have such a similar philosophy on debt and family. You’re so wholesome and Godly and that’s so hard to find on youtube.

I want so badly to be a stay at home mom at least until my baby (due in July) is old enough to start school. However, my boyfriend and I are struggling so hard financially right now I don't think that will really be possible (the way I'm imagining it). So, I've put my energy into trying to land a work from home job that way I can at least in some way be a stay at home mom, even if it isn't the full fledge montessori home school vision I'm really wanting.

This video came at the perfect time! My baby is due in a couple days and I’ve been considering becoming a stay at home mom. Thank you for that extra push of encouragement to still be able to work from home AND be a SAHM! ❤️

First time mom to twins that are currently 2 months old! I’ve been contemplating back and forth if I should go back to work but my heart is to be a stay at home mom to these tiny humans! Although my goal is to also have the flexibility of extra spendings, have my own small business and work from home too. I’m so glad you made this video and show that it’s possible to be a working stay at home mom. (I feel like that should be an official term haha) Thanks for sharing!!

What you are doing for your family is great!
I have a more traditional role as a stay at home mom to my 1year old daughter, however sometimes money is tight because of that. So at the moment I’m working on building a reselling closet on Poshmark to have extra money. It used to be just for cleaning out my personal closet but now I see it growing into a mini business. It’s nice because it’s easy and I can take the photos and create listing while also entertaining my toddler. Thanks for another great video.

This video is so heartwarming. I'm so happy that you are able to be a SAHM. I have followed your channel for a while and watched your journey for a while ❤ trying to build my own business while on mat leave but worried about if I will have time for it when I return to work😩

I’m a mostly stay at home mom. I work one day a week at a school. I used to work full time (including evenings and weekends) but it didn’t work for anyone in my family. Such a better fit for everyone.

I am a stay at home mom to my 14 month old and soon to be homeschooling mom to my 5 year old step daughter! I work part time from home on my own schedule as a bookkeeper!

I’m a stay at home mom! I decided that’s what we wanted before my husband and I graduated last year. If anyone else is interested in doing this eventually but will be working a bit before having kids, I recommend living off one income from the beginning, and using your extra income as savings until you have kids and stop working. This makes it sooo much easier to adjust when you quit working. That’s something we decided to do our best at! Thanks for the video!

Goodness, I am so sorry for the criticism and hate you get on your channel. I have found your videos to be extremely helpful and inspiring, and it's such a shame that people will watch your videos and complain about the silliest things. Thank you for always being transparent and for putting yourself out there to help others.
For those complaining about her calling herself a SAHM, she addresses the "controversy" in this video - you might to watch in full before criticizing.

We're due with baby #1 later this year! I plan to work about 10 hours per week by going into the office one day per week for about 4 hours and working the other few hours from home so I'll be able to stay home and work minimally to bring in a few extra hundred dollars each month!

I play with my 23 month old all morning, usually go on walks, he helps with house chores. I make lunch. On a work day I work at my computer while he takes his nap. Not a work day I fold laundry and chill while he naps. Afternoons we play, try to do a learning activity until Dad comes home and I make dinner.

Hi Marissa! What's the roughy breakdown % of your income stream that comes from RUclips and Etsy/courses or others. Expecting my first in summer and thinking of ways to add more $ and eventually go part time with my job. Thank you!

Why did it take so long for her to say that her “business” was doing RUclips? Seemed so cryptic.

Thought that was pretty obvious given I am making a video on RUclips…
