I have the Nudes and Roses and I love them. I use Nudes almost every day. I asked for the Bronze one for Christmas. Essence is such a great brand and I love so many of their products!

I've got all the 8 pan All about eye shadow palettes...my favourite is the Roses one. I love the Make me Brow product in blonde.

What a lovely review, thank you! Just picked up the Nudes one today and can't wait to use it tomorrow. I only have couple of single eyeshadow from Essence and they are amazing quality for their price, so grabbed the pallet even without trying it. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

I love them ... so much so that I ordered some off the internet that I couldn't find at my local store. one of my favorite purchases recently . I have green eyes , and I could live in that roses palette.

There's an all about greys palette as well. I really like essence too, they have good stuff. Though I never saw these older palettes around in germany

Thanks for the review Krystal. I'm sad that the original formula and colors aren't for sale any longer. My absolute fav that I have hit pan on is the original Nude palette. Can you tell me if any of the new palettes have that pink shade in the lower bottom left in the original nudes palette? So hard to tell online. That is one of my most fav colors ever. I agree I love a lot of Essence products. Their Gel topcoat makes my polish last and last.

I'm obsessed with these! I have had the Nudes for almost a year, I got the Greys and Roses for Christmas from my parents, I got the Bronze in February to compliment my blue eyes, and today I almost cried when I found the Toffee in a store. I cannot seem to find the Vintage where I live in South Africa, which makes me sad, but I love the ones I have so much. Each one can make a perfect makeup look on its own.

I love Essence. I have the All About Bronze palette, and it's the one I use the most.
I miss their colourful products. I'm blonde with blue eyes, so I love blue, pink and violet eyeshadows. Too bad they ditched the 3D eyeshadows and Denim Quatro eyeshadow.
Mimi On The Catwalk Its unfortunate that they have discontinued some of their older items that I really liked.
That nude highlighter seems bomb i have all the palettes amazing... And yeah they come in trends... As collections its so very cheap as much as i want highend i actually will stick with them they are nice and soft and buttery and blend ohh so well the roses one i have has like silver pictures on top i guess new design but yeah they are amazing

I just got the all about vintage palette. Best $5 I spent! I also got the essence mouse foundation. Love that too. 😊❤
Does the foundation oxidize? I've heard it does that's why I haven't tried it yet!
For me the foundation didn't oxidize. I used a primer before applying and used a beauty blender.
Your eyes look fantastic!! The shades are so pretty. You're so lucky your lashes stay curled up and don't drop down. I'm bummed that I didn't pick up the sunset, pastel etc palettes--- had I known that they get rid of them to come out with new ones, I would've gotten them :-/ I also have a soft spot for Essence and really like their blushes and lip liners. I have a list of items to still try. Loved seeing this video and I always really love seeing you appear in my feed because you're in my "breath of fresh air You Tubers". It's not all the same as everyone else, y'know? Keep those videos comin' girl! Xo

I have the All About Greys. I got it at Target! :D I love it! I think these are better than the 6 pan ones.

they also have one called chocolates. apparently ulta doesn't have that one either... they did , because I saw the labels for it at my local store but the product was sold out. so I don't know if it was limited edition or what.

Great review! I also love their lipstick and baldly want to get their mascaras and highlighter too! I agree that Maybelline's palettes are no good. They are not pigmented, super chalky and patchy. Not cute 😑

Hi Krystal, what's the name of that single eyeshadow that you used on the inner duct of the eye? I'm looking for a really good one.
RANDOMLPS TV I think it was apricotta. There are 3 or 4 of the essence eyeshadows that make a great face highlighter or inner corner highlight.

the nudes would definitely be your best bet because there are matte shades in that palette

I must say that I really like these palettes too! I am transitioning over to my grey hair, and have to "tone it down" and don't want to wear very dark or bold colors anymore, because of my age (60). It would look like I am trying too hard, to put it kindly. I just found these palettes in Ulta, and I was looking for more of a light to mid-tone range and these fit the bill perfectly! I am used to paying for pricey palettes, and I bought the Toffee one (that is not in your review, so maybe it has come out since you made this.) I was highly surprised the texture was so nice and they were well-pigmented. I put a nice look together and it came out well, and I bought the rose one today. I love that they are so softly textured. They do last with primer, it is Winter, so we'll see how they do in the Summer heat later on. I think, for the money, that they are an overlooked bargain!!
Yes, these are great palettes. I actually bought the toffee one. It wasn't available at the time I did this review. I can't wait to see what essence comes out with in the future!

I believe so.
i saw these a few weeks ago and im like oooh ahhh. but then im like no its essence, i may die of shimmer overdose hahaha. i did pick up the single shadows called velvets. oh my glob. i really like them. but they fade for me no matter what primer i use. i did find that the wet n wild primer works much btr with them than my milani primer. but they still faded after a few hrs. so...we will see. i really like them for some reason. i just want them to last longer. i really want the one palette with the maroon just cuz im obsessed with that color lately lol
hahahaha oh man. i think i was thinking the taupy color of the roses. i coulda sworn there was a maroon. and then i was like no i already have maroon so i passed. maybe i was thinking the taupe tho. dunno now hahaha
TheUpwardSpiral I saw those velvet shadows on he essence website. Ulta doesn't have them and my target doesn't carry essence. :(. I might have to buy them from the essence website. I don't have an issue with creasing or fading very often so hopefully they don't do that on me. Thanks for mentioning those!

I really like essence, but I don't like that they're packaging is so cheap. On two of their qattros and one of the new palletes theeyeshadows (one eyeshadow in case of the palette) got loose after only a few weeks of use (I'm weekend communter so I transport my make up from A to B a lot). I never had these problem with another brand and since I can't safely transport their products, I'm not going to buy more essence for a while.
I used one of their face powders a lot for theatre productions, and after a short while the entire hinge plastic broke off. It's now almost finished but the entire outer design has rubbed off and I have no way of keeping the lid on :(
