If I didn't see him fight in the UFC it'd be pretty hard to convince me that he was a professional fighter & I fully understand that in MMA there's more than just striking but still 🤣🤦🏾♂️
The only way I can see Ben beating Jake is to tire him out but everyone knows Ben is not gonna win I just want him to get some good shots out of Jake before he knocks him out
He still looks stiff in the shoulders and his straights are still really bad, but the combos are looking better
I think his shoulders are stiff from years of wrestling. Also his hips are fucked so he doesn't torque at all for the punches either. Only hope he has now is that chin and out live Jake Paul youth. Lol. Hopefully Ben makes it out of the first couple of rounds and outworks Jake
Yeah a knee cap full of starch to the face at high speeds usually has that effect.
@rowdy rowdy they're just really worn out, also from wrestling. I think the cartilage is shaved down almost or something like that. Doesn't have much mobility in them anymore.

Jake Paul trains his ass off because he doesn't want to lose in front of the entire world after seeing what it did to his brother. Ben Askren seems to have no head movement or good footwork. Jake Paul is going to beat him.
Mate his head is a rock and he has elite level endurance. Robbie Lawler slammed him and hit him 10 times from behind all his power with 4oz gloves and he still knew what he was doing... Aneson gib and Ben Askren are levels mate.

Honestly he looks pretty good. Obviously he’s not Canelo, but there’s some weight behind those punches and he’s still got that competitor’s look in his eye. Excited to see how he does.
Ngl if I was jake watching this guy I would be thinking imma KO him by hoping in with a jab then hoping out of range then hoping back in faint the jab throw a left hook then right straight. I really hope he’s learning how to defend hooks because he looks so vulnerable to them

Any fighter knows there is a certain mindset of being in a big fight, you can train all day long and train your ass off but when you get in that ring and it’s you against a guy who has been in a championship fight MULTIPLE times, he already has that edge. You can just fight a RUclipsr( which wasn’t an amazing fight and the youtuber jake fought actually handled him decent until the KO) and a basketball player and expect to go in and have that big arena feel. Ben has been here and he knows how to train and he has the experience of that setting. My prediction Ben A KO round 3.
You MMA fans are delusional. MMA fighters suck at Boxing. Striking in MMA is not the same a repeat not the same as in Boxing. The sad thing about this is that you will see in Jake paul a "youtuber" with a little bit of Boxing training, KOING an ELITE MMA fighter that does not even know how to throw a BOXING PUNCH.

Funny thing is that a RUclipsR will KO an ELITE MMA fighter in a Boxing match. This will show MMA fans striking in MMA is not the same as in BOXING.
One thing not enough people seem to be noting is that Ben can take a hit. Just look at round one of the robby fight; got mega rocked and survived. Paul is not physically able to hit ben as hard as robby hit him with the ground.
Do you really think getting strike once or twice in the face then taking the fight to floor after two blows in MMA is the same as getting punch all the time with no chance of taking the fight to the ground is the same? You MMA fans are delisiuonal

Ben askren should work on strengthening his weak chin. Not just boxing. I hope he knows this. Jake paul on the other hand is younger and more hyped. Even though he isnt a professional boxer, its enough to destroy Ben. Ben has to prove he has a strong chin. Otherwise Jake is the favourite.

This whole thing is good for the sport because of the added exposure but at the same time it doesn't push the sport forward competitively. My hope that one day their will be a unified testing system across all companies so we can see cross promotion fights regularly .
