*fixed mine by* 1. cleaning the case and the metal 2. throwing my pods many times but not too hard. also the case i dropped it many times. 3. i placed my pods back by pressing it down in the case for minutes. (hard pressed) 4. i charged it with original charger for 2 hours. and then it worked! hope that helps

To whoever it still doesnt work…. Try to clean your airpods with dry cotton and better if u visit apple suggestions to clean airpods or max… mine just got fixed… this was suggested by apple support team..
Best way to make work both of yr airpods is just connect yr airpods to phone then go to the app Find My in yr apple phone where you will see yr connected devices there like yr phone and yr connected yr airpods then tab on yr airpods and tab play sound then the beep sound will play in yr connected buds then do one thing there is an option comes play left stop play right when you tab play sound then you have to tab on that left or right bud which is not working the after trying couple of times you will see yr both earbuds works suddenly

This is a same problem with Powerbeats pro .. one side shuts down in 5 mins even when the battery says 55% . Apple says replace the entire one side piece for a whopping 11k which is obnoxious when the entire set is at around 21k I bought it for workout worked only for 1.5yrs and now it’s junk !

As i have mentioned the same thing was happening with me like disconnecting in few minutes and getting back after i put them back just try resetting them all in one that might work like holding the case for 15 seconds and then pairing the device all over agai

Try cleaning the sensor of the AirPod and also clean the case i mean the sensors where they charge
