Awesome presentation! Do you think you could show us how to apply DSP correction in the form an equal loudness curve? I can tune my system for a flat response, but would love to have a Fletcher-Munson preset as well. It seems that there isn't much in the form of tutorials on the web... It's mostly theory and principles.
Soooo, what if I told you i get way better directionality with your DIY binaural mics over the others that you've used in the past? Because that seriously spooked me when you were messing with the little robosub and Sophie said something because I was not expecting a voice from that direction. PLEASE develop this system a bit more and use it! If you get some full range mics then that setup would be hard to beat!

What camera did you use? I assume this is a 360 camera? Really liked the smooth pans. Definitly that one in the car when you arrived in the town.

Nice. Your binaural recording comes across really well on my system. What is my system? Well, it's complicated. (DIY active 4 way towers w/ DSP. Drivers are B&C 12" coaxials + woofer +subwoofer. It is NOT portable.)

My problem is, that i cant tell if a headphone is better than my own one, even from binaural audio, since my headphone is still in the way, if the source is better. Still, always happy to see a new vid from you!
I would like to see your comparison of these against the HEDD phones…. As I was looking to get my paws on a set of HEDD phones but now I’m considering the Liric’s…. Thanks a lot for making choices much more difficult! 😂
Excellent review. On a casual listen on my cheap workhorses (Dayton B652s), you could have told me you dubbed the track directly into the video and I would have believed it. Amazing price, for amazing performance. Love it. Side note: I like how Sophie just kinda rolls with the gear appearance on vacation. My wife would have sympathy. 😅🎄👍

When you can say stuff like: "Grab the SPL-meter!" in the middle of a road trip an your waifu doesn't give you strange looks and instead readies the equipment like it's the most basic and normal thing ... you've chosen well ^^

Hey. If I send you my 10 inch JBL wireless sub can you make a better box for it? I feel it can sound better.
What I want to do is take all the guts out of the Jbl 5.1 sound bar sub and and make another box for it. And you seem to make some great boxes. You can make a video out of it. Or I’ll pay for the box

Every time I hear 'balanced' in the context of headphones, my BS meter needle gets bent.
Other than that, very cool review, with binaural audio and all, feels very weird when camera viewpoint and listening viewpoint don't match, and then it hits you that we're listening to what you are listening.

What is the best type box for a 12 in L7S 750rms it’s in a mdf ported box designed by kicker but the box is huge and was hoping for something that would fit better
