Purple Kiss is really vocally talented group. Aside from the vocal range, they have most of the MOST UNIQUE VOCAL TONE in the industry. For example, SWAN’s voice is never heard in the industry before. Sounds so good. As expected from RBW group.
And goeuns tone is very deep and addictive. Chaein I can't really describe. Ireh's voice is addictive too and she can sing so well, evident in her can't stop dreaming. Dosie has this honey like voice and she reminds me a lot of soojin. Yuki has a similar tone to soyeon, and fills in the rap parts well. I did not follow them enough to know Jieuns voice well.
Chaehyun is really a good vocalist, unfortunately during the Girls Planet competition she lost her confidence. Fortunately, many fans encouraged her so that now Chaehyun's confidence is starting to improve and getting better
Yves is the best vocalist in Loona but i would say she’s 2nd when it comes to dance. Heejin is better than her. None of them are actual rappers so the rap ranking doesn’t matter.

The rest of the NMIXX members are below all of AESPA, but now Sullyoon has improved and is now better than both Giselle and Karina. Lily and Haewon are better than both Ningning and Winter. NMIXX' vocals as a group is way stronger so NMIXX is better.
I dont't know how much you listen to boygroups but it would be cool if you also made rankings in 4th gen male idols. They're not as skilled compared to the females but would still be cool content for the people that pay more attention to bgs
@@light_bit yea I think Jo Yuri is safe with A4/Bb4 maybe lower-mid C. She have a lot of potential tho, but hitting those E5 and F5 without having the right tech during her izone days really damaged her a lil bit

I think that's the reason that she kind of lost her consistency on B4s. She became like yuju. But after izone she got somewhat better on B4s maybe she wasn't belting so much
Ryujin is not a F+ she is F only and Eu and mia both are E- eu is relaxed at G#4 and shows potential to be consistent with G#4 so eu has support range of very shallow+ inconsistent and i have researched it and asked many vocal k youtuber and they told me eu has some very shallow support and she is E- and ryujin is still F not F+ while aisha is F+ and gaeul is also F she has not shown any sense of support and rei too

@@floraofficial7357 i will provide you material for eu and aisha and for ryujin she is still F she carries a lot of throat tension in her mid range which affects her ability to get closer to support and aisha is more relaxed than ryujin the only member in itzy who is closer to support is Yuna and no one is closer to support and in everglow yess eu has support i have shown her singing video and she has coverd many songs in her v live from that so many have told she is very relaxed to G#4 and has the potential to get consistent with G#4 and plzz just make two different tiers of non vocalist and underdeveloped cause it's becoming very confusing those who are having very shallow support and inconsistent will come in underdeveloped tier and those who are not shown any support or they are relaxed they will come in non vocalist and also rank them

you ranked them based on supported range only which isn't everything in vocal technique there is a lot of other aspects like agility , riffs and runs , low and upper register .. etc

@@boppop717 do you even know who i responded to? the person i responded to said that supporting your voice is the most important thing and that everything else doesnt matter, no matter how good you are at all those things if you can‘t support which simply isnt true. vocal support is important for vocal health but voices can still be incredibly skilled without vocal support.
Everglow eu and mia both are underdeveloped while mia has support of Bb3-G#4 but it is very limited and eu has very shallow + inconsistent support (E-) and aisha is non vocalist she is relaxed ( F+)
I wouldn’t be giving Mia a support range just yet as it’s to limited. It’s pretty shallow so I’ll have to see if she starts getting more bolder with her support.

@@shokoah chuu has shown incredible control and stability? First of all stability actually doesn’t matter when it comes to vocal techniques and Chuu’s upper register is messy af. OBVIOUSLY giselle is not as known as Chuu for vocals in the industry cause: 1) Chuu is pushed as a main vocal constantly and gets so many vocal parts 2) Giselle is the 4th best vocal in aespa and vocalist is not her main position so she doesn’t get to show her technique as much 3) Aespa is a younger group than Loona You clearly don’t know anything about vocal techniques. Chuu may be more known as a vocalists by fans but most vocal coaches consider giselle to be a better vocalist and chuu to have a very messy technique. This video was mostly about support so yeah although chuu has other good qualities to her voice, she is pretty underdeveloped when it comes to support, she strains a lot of her notes.

Chuu being a main vocalist doesn’t take away from the fact that she has good technique and only strains when at the literal top of her range. There’s a reason that giselle isn’t showcased as a main vocal, do you not think YG has vocal coaches evaluating them? There’s a lot more to vocals then just having support in your most comfortable chest voice, that’s the bare minimum. you’re just throwing words out there.
I really think that 4/7 of NMIXX members are placed higher. I know they all can support and sing but for those 4 to be higher that some decent-good main vocalists is not right.

now thinking about it, have we ever been given absolute rules as to what defines the main and lead positions? i feel like most people guessed these information by context and what was passed on from older fans, but unlike sports and such, there was never any official rule. it's just (presumably) the company decision, and we don't really know their whole consideration. it could've been out of image, the members preference, or something entirely different and we wouldn't know. and some groups don't even have official positions.

Hey I have alot of questions about the ranking 1. I think the Ryujin information is wrong she really isn't that good she is F/F-, same as E:U and Yiren 2. Isnt Hayoung(Fromis_9) low D+, I have seen alot of people say she improved? And Seyeon E? 3. Are you ranking non-vocalist any way or by the one who is better?
-I think my claim about ryujin has been proven wrong and I will put her back where she was. -Hayoung did improve buts she a D. -Seoyeons support quality and consistent is questionable. She will stay as an F+ for now. -I’m not ranking non vocalist

She has a lot of potential, she never had formal training as a vocalist but always took main vocalist position during GP999 and succeeded. I wish they let her use her real voice more though :(

Because she has improved? She can stay relaxed in A3/Bb3-G#4/A4. All the others members either are very inconsistent with their relaxation or they simply have worse quality of relaxation.

Yes she is. Chaeryeong is pretty nasal throughout her range but yuna has that same issue. But yuna is more free or “relaxed” in her mix register while chaeryeong isnt.

Yep ever since sneakers era Yuna is better than chaeyeong. Ryujin is still below Chaeryeong but Yuna is the 3rd best vocalist in itzy cuz her mix is better than Chaeryeong and her falsetto also seems healthier than Chaeryeong's attempts in surf,be in love,love is and chilling chilling
Her head voice can only take her so far. Comparing her mix register to other averages it doesn’t match up with vocalist like Yuri and Jiwon or even Nayoung (Lightsum). I would estimate her to be in low average if she didn’t have her head voice.

I would rank haewon a little bit lower She doesn't have good technique and her voice always cracks. I see her crack her voice in the begging of the song, gurl she ain't even dancing at that time.
A couple of voice cracks won’t determine a vocalists ability and potential. Though she had voice cracks it won’t block her position into the top rankings of this generation. She has developed a good chest engagement with a strong sense of support throughout her. I don’t see any reasoning to lowering her when whatever she pulls of is better and more engaged then ningning.

Her high note is quite stable when doing it in the studio/ recording area but when she's doing it live she sometimes goes off note and isn't stable, So she could do those high notes but it isn't supported properly.

Everglow eu and mia both are underdeveloped while mia has support of Bb3-G#4 but it is very limited and eu has very shallow + inconsistent support (E-) and aisha is non vocalist she is relaxed ( F+)
I wouldn’t be giving Mia a support range just yet as it’s to limited. It’s pretty shallow so I’ll have to see if she starts getting more bolder with her support.

2) Giselle is the 4th best vocal in aespa and vocalist is not her main position so she doesn’t get to show her technique as much
3) Aespa is a younger group than Loona
You clearly don’t know anything about vocal techniques. Chuu may be more known as a vocalists by fans but most vocal coaches consider giselle to be a better vocalist and chuu to have a very messy technique. This video was mostly about support so yeah although chuu has other good qualities to her voice, she is pretty underdeveloped when it comes to support, she strains a lot of her notes.

Chuu being a main vocalist doesn’t take away from the fact that she has good technique and only strains when at the literal top of her range. now thinking about it, have we ever been given absolute rules as to what defines the main and lead positions? i feel like most people guessed these information by context and what was passed on from older fans, but unlike sports and such, there was never any official rule. it's just (presumably) the company decision, and we don't really know their whole consideration. it could've been out of image, the members preference, or something entirely different and we wouldn't know. and some groups don't even have official positions.

1. I think the Ryujin information is wrong she really isn't that good she is F/F-, same as E:U and Yiren
2. Isnt Hayoung(Fromis_9) low D+, I have seen alot of people say she improved? And Seyeon E?

Because she has improved? She can stay relaxed in A3/Bb3-G#4/A4. All the others members either are very inconsistent with their relaxation or they simply have worse quality of relaxation.

Yes she is. Chaeryeong is pretty nasal throughout her range but yuna has that same issue. But yuna is more free or “relaxed” in her mix register while chaeryeong isnt.

Ningning is still a C+ due to her light coordination and support. Karina is still a higher D+ due to her support still tending to go shallow.

Her head voice can only take her so far. Comparing her mix register to other averages it doesn’t match up with vocalist like Yuri and Jiwon or even Nayoung (Lightsum). I would estimate her to be in low average if she didn’t have her head voice.

A couple of voice cracks won’t determine a vocalists ability and potential. Though she had voice cracks it won’t block her position into the top rankings of this generation. She has developed a good chest engagement with a strong sense of support throughout her. I don’t see any reasoning to lowering her when whatever she pulls of is better and more engaged then ningning.

Her high note is quite stable when doing it in the studio/ recording area but when she's doing it live she sometimes goes off note and isn't stable, So she could do those high notes but it isn't supported properly.
