Sainsbury’s & Aldi Grocery Haul | UK Food Shopping | 20th June 2024

We are a family of three and this is our grocery haul from Sainsbury’s & Aldi. This food shop cost £45.48 and we saved £7.25 with Nectar prices. Our Aldi shop was £56.04.

Lovely haul. I so agree about the beans Other youtubers say theycan't tell the difference between then and other brands are simply telling fibs! Sainsbury's peaches are so nice at the moment. I buy the ripe and ready as i have no luck ever with the ripen at home ones, they just go hard! Noah sounds like he will have a great summer.

Thank you 😊! With some things there is no/very little difference in taste between brands but I can definitely tell the difference in beans 😆. I’d rather pay a bit more and enjoy them less often than have cheaper brands more frequently. Oh I’ve not had their peaches yet , their ripe & ready plums were very good though. Oh sometimes fruit that needs ripened at home can be a bit hit and miss, they can be hard for what seems like weeks then the next time you check them they have gone off 😆. I’m sure he will, fingers crossed the weather improves for Summer. Have a lovely week ☺️ xx

Great shopping haul. Heinz used to be one of the cheaper brands sadly not anymore they are very expensive now I remember when they used to be around 75p 😊

Thank you ☺️! I remember when they were around that price too so I was shocked to see that they now cost almost double!! A lot of things have gone up massively in price recently, you definitely get far less in your weekly shop than you used to 😢 xx

@@thelifeofdee75 That is so true this cost of living crisis never have I ever seen anything like this before and I'm 55 it's just crazy you don't get much for your money these days I used to love going food shopping now I hate it so much all the price hikes it's so unfair and no more cost of living payments either from the government I know everyone is struggling cos I am too since I lost my partner John suddenly in April been looking for the yellow stickers but I don't have much luck finding those in my local supermarkets I have had to cut down on stuff even just a basic food shop costs around £30-£40 now depending on what I'm needing I did get an air fryer to help cut the cost of my electric which it has helped to do. It's criminal how they can hike up the prices ☺️

I’m so sorry to hear about John, I hope that you have plenty of support around you. I do see some people get really good deals with yellow labels but like you I don’t seem to find them that often. I guess you need to know the times that they do the reducing to get the good deals. Some prices have started to fall so hopefully it continues to drop on other items soon and make everyone’s food bills a wee bit cheaper xx

@@thelifeofdee75 Thank you I hope like you that prices start to fall I know from July 1st the gas & electric are reducing by 7% still not enough really but guess every little helps. I went to Morrisons a few weeks ago when I got a surprise bag and I waited around 2 hours as stuff were being taken off the shelf and put out the back to get reduced but in the end I gave up waiting around so didn't get any yellow stickers oh well not to worry 👍
