OOTP is the best value for replay games. $35 for the entire history of baseball??! Pretty good!

Perfect player is a lot of fun. Once I moved up from the starter league it became more fun.

There is definitely an issue with Perfect team catering to the whales who spend tons of real money though you can certainly have fun with it at the lower levels if you aren't competitive. I love the historical sandbox part of OOTP though and online leagues are fun too

OOTP is the best of the microtransaction games I've played... meaning the least PTW I've seen. Granted the Whales have a huge advantage, but I didn't feel it like other games. I stopped playing Star Wars GOH (Money Trap) and Marvel Snap (Can't advance without paying) due to P2W and lack of progression for F2P.

@@MrWrestling2I play com2us's other game 9 innings and I honestly don't find that as predatory. Sure you can but powerful card draws right from the shop but given enough time you can still get the same things for free. I really lost a lot of my interest in PT when they released limited edition cards that are better than anything else in the game and always have such insane power creep. I wish I felt I could build a competitive team without spending money or 12 hours a day spamming tournaments but I just have accepted PT is not f2P friendly.
Sad because the base OOTP game is so good but they went for the cash grab with PT.

LE didn’t bother me personally but the massive power creep was my least favorite part of PT.

Besides selecting historical replay, what are some of the other settings that you need to be aware of when doing a replay in OOTP?

What Mod do you use to get that screen appearance?

I think you are asking about the menu screens... if so I switched to the Classic version and tweaked it. I just released a new OOTP video that includes some modifications I put in for the game play.

How did you get your screen to look like that when playing an actual game? Mod?

When you get OOTP you're in for a lot of work before you can play one game. I don't play it anymore.
Baseball Mogul within 15 minutes I was playing a game.

if you look at people, myself included, who play multiple seasons out if a basic game takes 20-25 minutes a season alone can take 50-70 hours just to play the games and do all the other stuff like drafting, trades, organizing your minors, viewing league stats, etc. the game will suck you in.

I just want to play seasons. Can I pick a team. Say 1975 Reds. I want to manager their games and obviously the Computer plays for the other teams.
If I purchase the game. How soon can I begin to play.?
I don't want to take a course. No I don't play Video games.
Please just give me an Idea. Thank you

@@victormarrotti2575 you can play every game of any season you want. you can do a single season or every season. you can start in 1901 and rewrite history. or start in 1960. or really whatever you want. if you just want to play 1975 as the reds its pretty easy. buy the game, download, open and go to "new game" and select "new historical game". itll guide you through the settings, choose what year you wanna play and begin. you can choose to play with historical transactions on or off where the computer does all transactions the way they were done throughout the year in real life or you can make your own moves and potentially trade before the deadline for the missing piece. play with or without injuries. play so that it uses real lineups for each day of the season if you want the way it really worked out in 1975 or make your own lineups every day. options are endless, but if you just want something simple its easy to do that as well.

@@victormarrotti2575 there's also a tutorial game that can help guide you through learning if you start and feel lost but the base controls to just play games is fairly intuitive if you have ever used a computer
