Hey guys… The calipers aren’t backwards, I’m using a RSX caliper and EP3 rotor. With this conversation the bleeder is always going to face down. That’s why I asked for a good suggestion on bleeding the caliper off the car. TRUST ME I TRIED FLIPPING THEM 😊
They are backwards bro they are even marked the bleeder is always o. Top for bleeding sake. Start with gravity bleed then the good old 3 pumps and hold. •pause
Aki, check my comment in the section. I got you on the bleeding. Unbolt the caliper from the bracket, point the bleeder up, use a piece of 2x4 to hold the piston in the caliper while you or trap pump the pedal to bleed
u should have way more subscribers cause this is really the best youtube channel on youtube when u wanna learn about cars u guys are so well detailed on the video on how to install an get things going u guys show everything with a clear view an u guys explain everything out to us to the bare bone i learn easier on u guys car videos better than an other channel half of them got mill of subscribers but ain’t as detailed as u guy an u guys make these videos fun an entertaining not like other KEEP GUNNIN 🔫💯💪🏽
That's gotta be a trumpet maxima, im talkin about full on autozone & ebay special with white tire letters, niteshade sprayed lights, 5% tint and a curbed set of 19s off facebook market
Truly appreciate these types of vlogs. So many jems were dropped you'd think you guys were miners. Keep up the great work brothers. Much love and respect. 🔥🔥🔫🌎
I've seen people mention a vacuum bleeder which works great. Keep the caliper off the car with the bleeder up and use the vacuum. I cut a 2x4 that was the width of the rotor, put it between the pads with the caliper off the car and had my wife pump the brakes while I cracked the bleeder open and got all the bubbles out before I bought my pneumatic pump
love this gems ya giving out. by the way big big big shout out to tristate they hold it down and take care of Gunners over there. the level of costumer service is un real . much love for all the Gunners.
Since the rsx caliper are flipped and need the bleeder facing up, I would probably take off one of the rotors, someone holds the caliper brake pads and rotor together while the other bleeds it then install it back on the car. That seems like the simplest solution to me
Gotta keep them distraction conversations short and to the point cause you got work to do! at the same time finding moments of levity is always good too.
Those Honed trailing arm toe adjusters I am absolutely getting a set of those!!! The one's I bought you can't adjust for shit and there even expensive name brand
Focus RS. And you can bleed the calipers by unbolting the lower slider bolt, rotate the caliper so the bleeder is upright then tighten the other slider bolt to hold it in place, or use a bungee cord. Then put a 2×4 in the caliper to hold the piston in while you bleed it
The easiest way for me to bleed brand new brakes is I let the bleeder valve open and place a piece of cardboard on the floor wait for the fluid to start dripping. Then closed the bleeder valve and begin the bleeding process, keeping and eye on the brake fluid reservoir always full.
To bleed those calipers just take the bottom calioer bolt out turn the caliper up so the bleeder is at the top and c clamp the piston down with a brake pad m you will be able to bleed them. Simple as that!
Maybe you can pivot the rear calipers on just the top bolts and raise the bottom towards the top. Then insert a block of wood in front of the piston and pump the brakes and bleed
Get a ratcheting snap on-blue point-matco caliper compressor. Put that bad boy on a caliper. Ratchet it tight. Remove the caliper. Put the bleeder @12 o clock. Bleed the caliper. Keep Gunnin! Your welcome.
Just curious, should wait till everything your adding to monolo be put on and you get the alignment done at full weight + you in the car to get the best possible alignment? Or am I just thinking too much into this
The ebrake cable is very necessary. If you loose a brake line or master, thus brake line pressure, the Lever action of the Hand brake cable would allow you to slow the car down, along with engine braking. I can't tell you how this can save you in a pinch, and the weight savings with out the cable is negligible.
Actually if you lose pressure the e-brake won't work. Even though it's cable actuated it relies on hydraulic pressure to move the piston. On cars that use brake shoes inside of the rotor's hat for the e-brake this doesn't apply.
Every time I call / email tri state they always tell me I have talk with you for approval for discounts . Gets annoying because you’re very hard to get ahold of for approval. Anyways this is my last temp hoping you see this. But I was lucky enough get some skunk 2 pro series cams through gunner that help me out. Hope you can talk your ppl or if anyone else is having this problem too? Or just me?

Just a suggestion but would an auto bleeder be of any help. Either way I know you’ll find a solution.
I used a peace of wood to bleed my brakes with that same setup
I put the same thing you did and the way I bled it was by swinging the caliper forward then bleed it so the bleeder will be on the top
Reverse brake bleeder ! We get one off applications at work all the time where the bleeder is facing down.. works great !! Around $60 on Amazon
No lie yah the first channel i seen from new york 💯💯💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 and its great love all the content

Nobody on RUclips does more informative installs than the Bash Brothers!!!! 🔫🔫❤❤
Hey Aki I thought the bleeder screw have to face up ⬆️, I think you have the calipers backwards.
The knowledge of building a great car is amazing, love this channel it’s top tier!
Love these type of builds especially from aki
That's gotta be a trumpet maxima, im talkin about full on autozone & ebay special with white tire letters, niteshade sprayed lights, 5% tint and a curbed set of 19s off facebook market
7 GEMS, we don't do Time change ever here in Phoenix, AZ.
integra calipers and rsx brackets work as well . bleeders and brake cables are the right side up
Keep gunning brothers and sisters
Don't you have to use ep3 02 rotors for 4 lug?
Thats what i was going to say, cause base model rsx rotors are 5 lug
Truly appreciate these types of vlogs. So many jems were dropped you'd think you guys were miners. Keep up the great work brothers. Much love and respect. 🔥🔥🔫🌎
This your car? Oh this? My seat?? 😂😂😂🔫🌎❤️

Has to be Ep3 cause all Rsx come 5lug. So what car is the brake setup from need to know cause I’m building a Ek coupe myself
Since the rsx caliper are flipped and need the bleeder facing up, I would probably take off one of the rotors, someone holds the caliper brake pads and rotor together while the other bleeds it then install it back on the car. That seems like the simplest solution to me
Another vlog full of gems! Thank you for all the info 🔫❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
love the channel i just joined at the beginning of the build but i love the content!
Yo trap just bled the calipers off the rear hubs with the bleeder facing up then install on hub after system is bled
Always killing it yall! For real tho, best RUclips channel! 🔫🔫🔫
Try a pneumatic fluid extractor if you have an air compressor to bleed brakes
Nissan gunner checking in 💯💥
Y’all the best hands down (pause) 🔫🔫🔫
Gotta keep them distraction conversations short and to the point cause you got work to do! at the same time finding moments of levity is always good too.
Respect bro been waiting for that rear brake upgrade 🔫🔫🔫
Those Honed trailing arm toe adjusters I am absolutely getting a set of those!!! The one's I bought you can't adjust for shit and there even expensive name brand
I used integra cables and swapped the mechanism or use the rsx cables
so much work went in those rta!
could use everything from an integra for the rear disc brakes including e brake cables
I'm not the smartest tool in the shed but I thought the RSX was 5 lug? Am I buggin? Great information very detailed
I think aki meant base ep3 rotors cuz all rsx is 5lug
@@Lookin_ass Ohh damn I forgot about the ep3. That makes sense now thanks I appreciate it 🙏🏾 🔫🔫
So cool! Love the content
Another banger ‼️🦾🔫 #KeepGunnin , Much love from Pennsylvania 🖤🙏

Deff a lancer
To bleed those calipers just take the bottom calioer bolt out turn the caliper up so the bleeder is at the top and c clamp the piston down with a brake pad m you will be able to bleed them. Simple as that!
Use a piece of 2x4 and remove bottom bolt and pick it up so that the bleeder is up top
Black Rx-8 ❤️
53k subscribers! Keep gunnin!!
You guys deserve all the best! Dropping so much knowledge and I’m sure it’s much appreciated, keep it up guys👍🏼✌🏼awesome awesome channel!!

I use a old pad between the new ones with the caliper out
It’s base model ep3 rotors
Car sounded like a straight piped brz/frs
Maybe you can pivot the rear calipers on just the top bolts and raise the bottom towards the top. Then insert a block of wood in front of the piston and pump the brakes and bleed

hey gunners how ya doing the car is the grey lancer you can see it in the first clip
blue my bad
Impreza
civic si
Never knew you could fit that caliper on an integra rear end. The integra rear line and parking break will bolt in? Keep Gunnin 🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫
Dam never seen something move like that. Normally you push it that far and it feels like it's gonna break. That's for the knowledge hommes.
The ebrake cable is very necessary. If you loose a brake line or master, thus brake line pressure, the Lever action of the Hand brake cable would allow you to slow the car down, along with engine braking. I thought the 2002 rsx base model come 5 lugs
That car in the back ground sound like 350z
Yo bro you have the calipers on the wrong sides. Look at the calipers one says R for right side and L for the left side. Keep killing it ✌

What e brake cable are you using is it just a stock 96-00 hatchback e brake cable ?
I love it
Are brake dust shields necessary?
