Este disco lo escuche en el programa de radio "El jazz, los jazzistas y usted" que conducía German Palomares Oviedo después de las 11 pm por la frecuencia de radio universal y al igual que la música de Dave Brubeck y Juan José Calatayud siguen siendo mis favoritos, gracias por éste hermoso recuerdo de mis años jóvenes y que lástima que ya no hay un espacio como éste para la buena música en la radio mexicana.

I have a Japanese vinyl pressing of this album being delivered in a week! :D I couldn't be more excited to position the speakers just right, sit back in a comfortable chair, turn the lights off, and just get into it.
Probably smth got lost in translation lol. But I still imagined a stereotypical fat person with multiple chins who bens over and then the rest of their lunch falls out haha

Johnny Mandel knew Bill at least to some degree. Never said any words other than praise about Bill, as far as I know.Kind of like "damning with faint praise" though. I wish I could learn more about their interaction. Bill recorded many of Johnny's tunes.
The meaning of the album title means parting from Fantsy Records. The true last album of Bill Evans is "Consecration" or "The Last Waltz" in 1980. Otaku4 (^_^)b

ビル後期の演奏や採り上げる曲（自作曲を含む）などは
確かにセンチメンタルな部分が突出しすぎていると私も感じます。
ジャズの中の「メロディ」を純粋に楽しんでいる人たちにとっては
実はそこが一番魅了されるところなんですけどね（笑）

Wow I didn't even know Consecration was his last album. It had beautiful songs on it, "Emily" was my favorite one.
stoked tourist “Emily” roped me into a new era of jazz. I was utterly amazed when I first heard it.

Bill is good. But without rhythm it sucks.
