KJ Mains have this one problem:
Enemies go to the other site
😂😂😂
hahaha yeah true
Same with cypher
@@BeaBuilds_legoisawesometrue
Ah, the pain
The reason KJ and Cypher have such big brains is because they don’t need one set up, they need 25
this is accurate
You play a raidant killjoy your scared you play a raidant cypher ur terrified
Except in iron, most players will not remember them anyway, and you might give them a free site...
true
I can't remember any setup anyway
based
I do this every game but my setups always get destroyed lmao
it's probably audible, or too aggressive, try putting stuff a bit further back
@@proguidesvalorant i think that the comment was not true but he just wants to say how bad a meta agent is or how “unlucky” he is
My issue is that I solo hold a site then they take the other site easily despite 3 people holding it :>
same for cypher too
yeah true
I hate searching up lineups. I always do so i can know what the enemy can throw out but i always hop into custom games and attempt to make my own, for example i have about 10 of my own set ups and line ups for haven A site alone that arent all the best, but can be changed mid round if need be. I do the same for cypher, I recommend most ppl do the same
Probably the first thing this account has said that’s actually helpful
i just put the nanoswarm on the default plant on defense and on spike after plant on attack, alarmbot on entry for defense, alarmbot and flank for attack, turret on places you need knowledge/info of
as a KJ main I learned to use a swan grenade as a throwing bomb 😂
Option c. Hide behind turret use it as a shield. The rat way
I usually use the turret as an aggressive tool. With my experience on playing tf2, I tried to implement killjoy's turret as a 2nd teammate essentially helping me killing enemy gamers, Its quite effective if you have good positioning, good aim, and good game sense as well as taking advantage of the turret's capability. I mostly use it to distract them from targeting me hoping they would focus on the turret. Of course this doesn't mean the turret is the only thing I'm going to use, I will use killjoy's other skills. This also doesn't mean that being aggressive is always the best solution, use your turrets to help disable chokepoints, hold defensive positions, and of course helping your teamates kill other opponents. I know the turret is weak at dps but that extra damage is worth it.
You could also play with the activation range of your util and be in places the enemies will not expect you to be.
Like for example Ascent B. Place turret in the cubby right next to the B door. Place alarmbot on mid and place your swarms near the alarmbot or within the sight line of the turret. And finally you can play on A tree and be still within range for both utils.
This is useful when you want to stack A site but don't want to lose map control of B and Mid.
Another one I know is Lotus. Place your turret on B boxes or the elavated area going to B upper. Place your alarmbot on C main barrier. Swarms depends on you. I usually make blender traps. And finally you can stay on C waterfall.
Same thing with the other one, it's useful for maintaining map control while allowing your teammates to stack A site in this case.
Somehow my B setup in Ascent rarely gets destroyed, they just know Kj is going to play there so they just go mid or A lol
the only mistake we make is not where to set up, but When to set up
You would actually be surprised, even in higher elos, how enemies fall for the same setup over and over and over again. You wanna know the real tip instead of this crap? Change your position
Play agressive , play passive, play off turret contact, with a op, play a judge, etc.....this drives enemies crazy because now they have to figure our your setup and your position
This works really well. I save my strongest setups for crucial rounds, for example the microwave setup on Breeze B
As long as you can change up how you play and use your turret&alarmbot to your advantage I think KJ is viable on any map
@@Catgatroid Except Breeze. Her inability to execute Lockdown makes her the worst agent on said map. She has OK setups on the map but other than that....if Breeze was in rotation, her pick rate wouldn't be as high
Meanwhile Brim and Viper need only 1 lineup setups and the enemies can´t do anything against it(If the team covers them up)
yeah I don’t think golds are smart enough to shock dart my setups
Why change when they don't push you. Like in Split: I set up B they go A, setup A go B.🙃. Atleast I slaughter them in retake
that's why we said: "when your set-up is discovered", if no one saw any of your util, then you can repeat the same set-up.
what song is in background?
nvm found it. Hadouken by Lupus Nocte. I love it.

Ok nerd
I just put stuff wherever it seems useful… and most of the times it‘s useful😁
Enemies be like: where is that fricking robot? Or Frick there is kj shooting robot where the hell is she hiding I don‘t want to get shot in the back again
It‘s really funny…
And yes… as a kj, cypher and Chamber enjoyer I like to torture my opponents😅
I have a perfect setup but enemies go always to anothe site and if i move they do the same xD But ye if the come there after I always use a new one
this is common sense. how tf are ppl liking this
It maybe is but in Low elos the "perfect Setup" actually works. And then you don't want to Change the running system, get scared of new ideas and get hard stuck. I can tell because I was Iron till Level 120. Videos like this can give you confidence to try your own ideas and even If they don't Work once try Them several times in diffrent Games.
The same aplies to cypher
Great video
Actuallythe irons i play against always walk right into the same setup, so i dont really have to change it
Yeah I’m bronze and I was abt to comment abt that
I'm a KJ main myself and honestly watching other players play Killjoy is a massive pain and disappointment.. They keep repeating the same setups or place it literally in the enemy spawn where it gets destroyed right after a round begins.. This is a very important tip to remember, nice video !
thanks, I appreciate it!
You dont have to change ur setup if they didnt even see it + you can bait the enemies with it
@@rev0live752 Well yeah, you don't need to change what's working for you.. but I was pointing out that people don't change setups even if it's getting destroyed without being useful.. like if enemies are being located near their spawn/at a risky location after they destroy one of your bots, it's still useless because you can't rush them there and I've seen many people get baited by their own setups this way 😂
