Wow I’m so impressed by Jordan Davis, he was nearing 380 lbs at some point during last season he lost weight and looked even faster. Now at 340 running 4.8 is unbelievable.

No way a sleeper, some so called experts liked him more than Davis. With this showing when from the 33rd best player to top 20 to 25. Dallas could be a team interested in him at 24. Better choice than Linderbaum who i did not see at combine. If i am wrong on Linderbaum please show his combine #s. Dont like a Center who may not be as strong as he needs to be to desl with the likes of Davis, Walt, Travis jones and Aaron Donald, and Titans, and Baltimore Bigs.

Like from seeing the past edger rushers who did the combine had me more excited. I also feel like the Defensive Tackles of this class did better than the Edge rushers but idk that’s just me
I can absolutely see Hutchinson as a Dan Campbell guy. But KT was the teammate of our first rounder last year, May give him a slight edge

Man the dream would be getting Jordan Davis to the Raiders.. the fit is just too perfect, he's a giant with speed, and is gonna stuff the hell out of the middle
i've seen a ton of people in the comments section talking about how Jordan Davis is overrated, how he won't be able to keep his weight down, how he'd lose his drive once the money starts coming in, etc... I think that's all a load of horseshit. this dude was a workout warrior from the SEC Championship game through present day according to Kirby Smart, and he came across as very humble during Combine interviews. Not to mention, he talked about having a very systematic plan in place to get his playing weight down from 340 to 330. This kid seems like a great personality and a dedicated worker.
With his 40 time, and weight loss, he might end up being drafted in the top ten.
@@michaelkosanovich8726 it'll come down to his ability as a pass rusher. he's already established himself asa bonafide run stopper, so if teams think he can't defend against the pass, then he'll fall b/c they'll envision him as a limited, early down rotation player. otherwise if they think he can defend both the run and pass for all 3 downs, then yea, i'm confident some team will buy high on him. my dream scenario for my hometown Lions is to trade down from #2 (and trade up from #32 if necessary) to maneuver and get both davis and nakobe dean in the middle of the first round.

Look. I have been on damn near every video complaining about them making a whole 40 video and then adding 40s into the workout videos.
It translates to lateral speed as well, if my DE can’t run with backs to the sideline, they’re kinda useless

Everyone hates me for saying Davis is a better athlete than Baker Mayfield and Jameis Winston....DL's are perhaps the best athletes on the field. To get off the ball and hit guys, get off blocks and tackle play after play, they're top of the line.

@@johndavis6719 Tillery is better suited as a 3-4 DE @ 6'6"/295 lbs (but even BETTER if he could add an extra 15-20 lbs of muscle mass! 💪) but he SURE as hell don't fit the mold of a 4-3 interior D-lineman in today's NFL (maybe 30 or 40 years ago, he would have...) and idk WTH Telesco & company were thinking if they intended to draft him for that specific position! 🤔

As a slightly biased Bucs fan, VV is by far the most physically dominant player in the league. The fact that he wasn’t out there most of the 3rd Q I’m the Rams game proves to me this is entertainment and not football. Once he got back out there he changed the line of scrimmage considerably each play. He’s so good he exposes the league. So did AB.. I like the combine bc numbers don’t lie you can’t script this.

Some guys helped themselves but the big names either showed what scouts knew or hurt themselves. The kid that ran a 4.3 moved himself into day 2 maybe. Travon SHOULD be the first edge but I think Detroit may be stuck on Hutchinson but if they don't go with Hutchinson expect Hutchinson to drop. First place he will go after his stubby arms were measured and he ran a 4.75 will be 7 but he will likely fall to one of the jets picks. Travon surprised a lot of us BUT scouts have been on him. Not game media thinking they are scouts but guys that actually scout for a living and work for teams. Travon SHOULD be first edge off. Thibodeaux knocked himself out of the top 10. He could go as early as the jets but I see him going 15 or 16 to eagles now. Karlaftis is riding and when he runs a 4.6 at his pro day he will ride more. He COULD go as early as 7.
Tackles tested better on general. There are gonna be plenty of day 3 tackles that wind up being studs.
DEs/Edges tested well but several guys length hurt them. Hutchinson was hurt bad with his stubby arms. Thibodeaux has 'enough' length but people expected him to be exceptional and he wasn't then the idiot walked out when the biggest question about him was desire, effort and love of football. I'll be surprised if he can turn this around and go before 15 now.
I wish the Chargers would switch back to a 3-4 defense, then they could draft someone like Jordan Davis or the *other* DT from Georgia (Wyatt) and play them @ NT! 😎 Either or would be fine with me, cause we REALLY need to improve our lousy run defense!

Why can't they ever produce combine clothing that are comfortable and participants do not have to constantly tug and pull so it does not slide off their ass. Especially the big men.

Thibodeaux only did 2 workouts. By not doing the other 5 workouts, he's probably hiding something, or he's lazy. Hutchinson didn't do 2 of the workouts... but then again, not a single prospect did the 60-yd Shuttle.
