God created them male and female. And God doesn't make mistakes. Feelings are not facts.....
Case in point: Most Christians, at some point in their jouney, have either doubted or felt as if they had lost their salvation. You can either trust in how you feel, or you can choose to believe what God has said. I choose to believe God because He is the Truth. And His Word is Truth. Anything that is not of the truth is a lie. Its not my truth, or your truth....its THE truth. The root problem is people do not believe in absolute truth anymore. I love them, but they are deceived.

It isn't that Biblical anthropology is "underdeveloped" with regard to gender identity issues, it's that most people in the culture don't like the answers that the Bible provides. We should be compassionate but firm in providing those answers, and - particularly as Christians - we should be very careful that we don't look to the latest cultural fad to guide our focus and attention.

Using the wrong gender pronoun is always biblically sinful. It was obvious from your conversation that you know this even though you were struggling to give Christian's a way to sin through following their own conscience, rather than Scriptural truth.

If God was to speak anew to our generation on this issue, would he make these points?...
Marriage between a man and a woman is still ordained of God and the family is still central to the Creator’s plan for the eternal destiny of His children.
All human beings-male and female-are still created in the image of God. Each is a beloved son or daughter and, as such, each has a divine nature and destiny.
Gender is an essential characteristic of individual and eternal identity and purpose.
The first commandment that God gave to Adam and Eve was on their potential for parenthood as husband and wife. God’s commandment for His children to multiply and replenish the earth remains in force.
God has commanded that the sacred powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife.
The means by which mortal life is created is divinely appointed, as is the sanctity of life and its importance in God’s eternal plan.
Husband and wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children. “Children are an heritage of the Lord” (Psalm 127:3).
Parents have a sacred duty to rear their children in love and righteousness, to provide for their physical and spiritual needs, and to teach them to love and serve one another, observe the commandments of God, and be law-abiding citizens wherever they live.
Husbands and wives-mothers and fathers-will be held accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations.
Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity.
Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.
In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Disability, death, or other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation. Extended families should lend support when needed.
Individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, work against the laws of God or fail to fulfill family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God.
Turning away from God's biblical laws, and encouraging the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the very calamities foretold in scripture.
Yet a loving Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, have not revoked their love, nor withheld their help to all who come unto them with full purpose of heart. The Saviour's invitation remains in place: "Come, follow me."
    Sound about right?
