The clues weren’t that bad in the 1st Round. In the Double Jeopardy! Round, yes, they were that bad. The only positive I have was Brad King’s Daily Double. It was an easy clue, and he nailed it.
Imagine if Kristin did ring in around 09:06, she probably would have said “What is Thailand?” as both Malaysia and Indonesia are mainly Islamic states.
No one ever gets it right this time. They gotta have all the correct answers to sweep up the board, which would allow the three players to get a chance or keep going and rake up all the cash.
Before the interview segment, LeVar Burton gave Kathleen some good news having to do with that Noriega clue which is that he may have mislead her and so she was given back the $600 she lost on that clue.
The 1 with Brad King & Stephanie Hull was a Double Disqualification. The next 1, in Kevin Walsh’s 4th game, was Alex Trebek’s last Single Player Final Jeopardy! in his lifetime. Ken Jennings saw that in Mattea Roach’s 12th game. Don’t feel bad, Loni Lewis. Because you’re not as far in the hole as Sean Wong is, you’ll automatically finish in 2nd place and win an extra $1,000. Sorry, Sean. Those are the rules. Live with it.
Just imagine a real Jeopardy contestant ending up with -$10,000.
You forgot the $-7,200 episode from contestant Erin
Sorry Erin wrong direction
These weren’t these players’ greatest days.
Stephanie and Brad’s game had really difficult clues

“Aren’t we forgetting something, Marge? You were down $5,200. I asked you before the game if you knew the rules and you said you did. Judges!”
I honestly miss the red background for the minus scores that was used from 2002 to 2009. It makes the score easier to read.
@@MorganNyeAgainst a blue background?
@@MorganNye It just never looked right to me.
Me too. Having the negative scores in a red font on a blue background is tough to read from a glance.
We like the 2009-present score displays.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 love you world of Jeopardy so much

It wasn't a good day for Patrick but it didn't help Levar Burton's appeal either to have such an astounding loss LMAO.
Not Patrick’s day
9:05 Nope.
Negative totals in the red aren't allowed to play in the Final Jeopardy! round. It's a policy.
Unless it's Celebrity Jeopardy!, in which they spot you some money (usually $1,000).
@@MorganNye Yeah, I'll bet that's cheating.

Mattea is all by herself
Yes.
@@theweysermanisback5205 so Sean and Loni no final jeopardy for both of you and what’s Ken saying to both of them
It's always hard to run into an 11-Day Champ, I imagine.
😅
Thats a man
Who?
