So happy that you enjoyed it! There are soooo many varnishing videos out there in the world that I wasn't sure if I should do one, but then I got a few requests, so I figured that it was a good idea. Thanks for your feedback!💗
Hi Eddy! No isolation coat needed unless you are using pigments that are water based, because they can bleed... in which case, you just isolate with a spray varnish first and then you can go ahead with this technique
@@GiavannaDesigns Thank you so much! 🙂👍🏼 I’m barely learning how to varnish lol I watched a few varnishing videos but yours is the best by far, Thank you!!
Thank you so much! I'm so happy that it was helpful! Please feel free to share my channel with anyone who you think would enjoy it and find it useful. 💗
Some ppl will say yes, but to be honest, even though technically you can, you shouldn't. The torch uses the flame to pop the bubbles very quickly. The heat gun takes a lot longer to pop the bubbles and that extended time of heating the paint causes a skin to form which will make the paint dry bumpy or uneven or break up as it dries. 💗
@@GiavannaDesigns sorry my question was inappropriate,I m beginner who was looking for Glosy resin like effect on canvas painting, and. Found high gloss varnish as my choice but I don't have torch can I do it in good way without bubble
Unfortunately not. If you spray alcohol to get rid of the bubbles, the varnish will not dry evenly glossy. Your best bet would be to buy a spray varnish. That way you get the glossy topcoat without the bubbles. It's thinner and takes more product, so it's more expensive though, just FYI.💗
I wish I could see your video yesterday.. I shake the varnish i get 1000 of air bubbles..tried to pop them..burned my canvas..one day before my first exhibition 😩😩
OH NO! I'm so sorry thai happened to you! Congratulations on your exhibit though! I really wish that I could get my work displayed publicly. You should be very proud of that! Idk if the exhibit is today or tomorrow, but if it's tomorrow... you could possibly try lightly sanding the burned varnish off, cleaning it really, really well with alcohol and then a wipe with a damp cloth to get the alcohol off, and then varnish again. I'm not sure that it will work bc idk how badly it's burnt, but it's worth a shot! Good luck!!!💗
@@GiavannaDesigns Thank you so much for all your advices ❤️ i managed to fix the canvas with adding more stars and varnish again. Exhibition end up really well it was my first in the gallery so I was stressing out. I really love your art and I'm always happy to see new post from you ❤️
@RenatasArt Thank you! Unfortunatelyd RUclips was a really negative experience for me, so I got burnt out and stopped posting my work. Maybe someday I'll start up again, who knows? But for now, it's not good for me. Feel free to reach out any time though!💗
Hi Marcia! My whole household is healthy again except for me. This is lingering on much longer than I expected. I'm doing OK though...I just finished up my steroids and I'll be done with the antibiotics in a few days. I'm just extremely fatigued and I still can't taste or smell anything, which is the strangest side effect!!! It really is such an odd experience! But other than that, I'm hanging in there. Hoping to be able to start filming again in a day or two. And I have a big collab coming up, so stay tuned! You are so sweet to check in on me! Thank you so much for your kindness. 💗
Of course, sweetheart! Your daddy and I were very close growing up. The last time we saw you was at Aunt Janice's 2 summers ago. We were hoping to see you again this year, but then the lockdown happened and we couldn't go visit NY this summer. We miss you guys! Please send your parents and your sister our love!💗
Well...I can do both. I express my artistry in many different ways. Just curious...if this is the way you feel, why are you watching a pouring channel???
Feel free to move on instead of insulting the person who you came here to watch. For such an incredible artist, I don't see any painting videos on your channel. Looks like you're just another armchair critic with no talent of his own
Hello. Love your video. Some people replying are just nasty. Ugly in their heart and soul, I call them just an "unhappy soul" and pray for them. Anyway, pay no attention to the mean people in the world, keep doing what you're doing, you're doing great! The happy and kind people in the world appreciate it and appreciate you!😘 Thank you!🙏
I love your explanations! Helped me a tone! Thankyou! Big hug!
I'm so glad that you found the video helpful!💗
Thank you! I look forward to watching more of your lovely videos now that I will get notifications!🎉
Thanks for showing how to varnish acrylic paint art. 👍🏼
I hope it was valuable to you!😊
Tomorrow its a varnish day, hmmm, plus some 3D work... Nice to find you, I love your work!
Thank you for explaining I really appreciate it keep well and stay safe
I'm so glad that you found the information helpful, Regina!💗
Where do you get the big bottles of high gloss varnish, so far I’ve only seen 8oz bottles
Very informative video!
Thanks Gia!
Can you clean your brush afterwards with soap and water. I have the liquitex gloss varnish but am yet to try it?🤗
You can, but it's not easy. They never really come clean. I would suggest that you dedicate a few brushes for only for vanishing
@@GiavannaDesigns Thank you. I just wondered if you needed a mineral spirit, as in home diy varnishing. I will keep a brush just for this job 🤗
WOW I LOVE THIS ! 😍

I like LQ high gloss too but can’t find any except 8oz. Any idea why
It seems to be on backorder everywhere. I'm hoping they get some in really soon
What is this for bubble dryer
