ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Why Hasbro not color the square on Megatron's rainbow belly red? They just leave it plain and yet they can put weathered marks all over the fuckin thing. Just lazy, got the blue, yellow no red. But that being minor that's a good looking Meg, better than Gumby cyberverse megatron
The fact that’s it’s also made by takara tomy like the studio series makes it a lot more epic to me!
Finally someone else figured out the sword fix to move the Turret
Can’t wait to pick up this figure. Also I prefer him as a tank, rather than a gun, but that’s just me.

I love the dorky parts in the Captsin America hat. Makes me laugh every time.
At my local Walmart they had Seige Starcream, megatron AND Optimus in stock, but I could only pick up Optimus :(

I’m loving this line, and I hope u are as much as I am!! I collected Transformers for a long time only got the Autobots, but the past few years they didn’t catch my fancy. I saw early reviews for these and knew I was getting back into Transformers (for this line anyway). I love the first wave of the Seige line and can’t wait!!!!!! to Soundwave, Laserbeak, Ravage, and Ironhide in wave 2
Seen a few of the deluxe class figures this week. And I agree... stepped up on this line. Very classic looking.

So we know that Optimus Prime is getting another figure in the line based on his Galaxy Force/Cybertron design. What other version of Megatron would y’all like to see in the Siege toyline?
Personally I would like to see an Animated-inspired Megatron, primarily for that alt-mode.

It seems like Hasbro is finally remembering to make a good figure FIRST and THEN add a gimmick.
I'm very pleased. It wouldn't surprise me to see a lot of people chucking some of their POTP, Titans Return and Combiner Wars stuff.

This line is pretty awesome. Pricey but awesome.
I was going to pick up this Megatron but ended up going for the Authentics Alpha class instead. It's very similar in design, roughly the same size, has a better alt-mode, it's almost as poseable and it's less than a third of the price. You lose a lot in terms of paint-apps but with some patience and time you can get him looking just as good as this figure. I have him posed with my Siege Optimus and they look great together.
The only disadvantage is that as you'd expect with a cheaper figure he's very hollow but if you're careful about how you pose him you can hide that easily. And his neck pegs in properly.
First 18 seconds of his vids are always blasting away my speakers... And then I'm deaf... Lol

I like it, but theres a few things I think they could have improved on. If they used a ball joint for the wrists instead of the hinge they could have wrist swivel as well as the transformation joint. Also, the ankles could pivot even more and fold into that gap at the back of the tank, filling it out and hiding the feet.
But a move in the right direction for Hasbro.

I mean the face showing underneath doesn't bother me too much especially since in the Bumblebee film we see that his face does show underneath.

Great review Shart! I'm digging this Siege line! I even picked up the Power of the Primes Beachcomber & Outback minibots on clearance to go with these and I haven't bought a TF in yrs, lol.
No stickers, less hollow parts, more paint app details, Seige line is going to break my bank. The price hike is justifiable in my opinion.

Super late to the party with this video. I was wondering if the cannon part of that sword can attach to his back without the blade parts to make him look a little more G1, give him the pistol barrel on his right shoulder blade.

I honestly hate the metallic splash, it supposed to be wear and tear but it just looks bad, it be difficult to remove it. Wish they came normally, it’s easier to add your own wear and tear. Other than that, these bots are amazing
It's not difficult to remove it. Some rubbing alcohol and a cloth should do it.

I dont know why but i never had the problem with the head that you and emgo encountered. You might have not transformed megs properly or maybe i got a later release where hasbro fixed the issue. At least my figure seems to have some sort of resting point where if you try to push it down there is resistance and it pushed the backpack from the torso. When you then push the backpack back in place it lifts the head back where it belongs.

Shartimus you should at least get the Studio series Optimus Prime 38 when it releases, it's the bumblebee movie version and it gearing up to look pretty good!
I love megaton but I never liked that he was a gun being used by other bots,never felt right as a tank either.designers dropped the ball when it comes to his alt mode. He should have been the fighter jet,not starscream.

I love it. Megatron and Optimus Prime, I also got Ultra Magnus, Shockwave. I love em they are so g1 like it hits my nostalgia spot and wallet hard. Transformers Studio Series and the Siege series is going to be great on my shelf. Excited as hell for the next wave Starscream and Ironhide also Reflector. Fun time to be a collector. Also loving the Studio Series figures waiting on the BB movie Prime it looks so badass and will be great with the Studio series bumblebee :)
