Paintball can teach the youth a lot of things, including proper weapon handling and control, target acquisition, team work, fair play, honesty and integrity, though the last two seem to be a much lacking aspect of the sport this day and age, I blame competition speedball, but that’s a whole different situation all in it’s own!

The thought process behind the “Why?” is simple. It’s a VERY odd chance to be hit in the back of the head whereas getting hit in the front of the mask is common.
When my buddies and I used to play the only rule at our local field was no freezing paintballs. Headshots were good to go and it didn't matter if you were wearing a full helmet, mask, or goggles.

Growing up, neighborhood friends would all get together for paintball. Split up into two teams. First team went into the woods to hide. Second team went after them. We didn’t stop until our hoppers were empty, didn’t matter if you got shot or not. 🤣🤣 Reload, change teams, etc and do it again

Growing up, neighborhood friends would all get together for paintball. Split up into two teams. First team went into the woods to hide. Second team went after them. We didn’t stop until our hoppers were empty, didn’t matter if you got shot or not. 🤣🤣

Buddy was in the wrong and I let him know that it could have been my head. Wether I was there my first day or have been playing for 25 years, I would have said the same thing to him and included, “That could have been my head!” Lol
