Hi, thanks for your comment, when using on a daily basis I feel it runs smooth with no issues opening different tasks but I can't compare to Samsung as I haven't tried this device yet I will reach out to their PR company and ask if I can test it.

Hi, thanks for your comment, the vibration is good and set to its highest level, and yes the screen wakes up when I turn my wrist to see the notification.

Is there any difference in features between IOS and Android while using this watch ?
Hi, thanks for your comment, yes there is a big difference and with android you can choose and customise so much more and get more feedback on health data via the android app compared to the iOS app.,

During your set up it said it supports ‘payments, transport cards and more..’ this is exciting as it is not available atm so I’m guessing they will add it soon :)

Hi, thanks for your comment I am working on my long term review and have used it with the iPhone and the only service that doesn’t seem to work is the stress feature.

Hi, thanks for your comment there is no sound option in settings but I do get a sound for notifications and when my phone rings so dose my watch, you might be able to change the sound options in Huawei Health app thou.

Would this be a good casual watch I never had a smartwatch in my life. What I need is: International Time options, Bluetooth calling and txt, tap pay with debit cards, music player, GPS, language Translator, good mobile fronts. I don't go to the gym but I do need it for sleep. Thanks
Hi, thanks for your comment, for what you need the Huawei Watch GT2 can't provide all these maybe look at the Samsung Galaxy Watch or Apple Watch but I know the Apple Watch dose not offer sleep support were this model dose but it won't allow you to pay by your watch either.

I just bought a black Honor Magic Watch 2 and black GT 2 and am now thinking the silver version with brown leather and sports black straps may be the better option. Reason is that you can wear it as a dress / work watch and for sports. The bezel also looks a little better on the silver version as its glossy black with engraved markings on the all black version.
How does this watch look with the black straps as a sports watch? Does it look nicer / more premium than the all black version?
Hi, thank you for your comment, I am the same as you and wear silver model with leather straps for when its a more formal event or time and then when I go to gym or out and about I wear the sports options.

Hi, thanks for your comment, yes it has an always on display and yes the battery life is impacted noted 2-4 days loss so about 8-10 days usage.

FYI screen size is NOT 46mm, that's the watch size. Screen size is indeed 1.39" which is approximately 35mm

@@mohamedfahad2364 no the smaller one has a 1.2 inch screen which is 30.5mm. I don't believe the smaller one can take calls and has a much shorter battery life of around 1 week, so definitely the larger one for me. Bought one now and it's way better than the original version aside from a few quibbles..
@@willdman2000 Thanks, Sir. This watch really looks nice and looks like an actua watch. Not just a panel on on the wrist like the apple watch. The only caveat to me is its RAM. I mean come on 32 MB?!! If it were 1G i wudda purchased it asap!
@@mohamedfahad2364 I know what you mean. If you're looking for a more feature-rich experience then the apple watch is a better choice. Personally I'm not a fan of apple and I'd rather have a nice- looking watch with less features and that I don't have to charge every day. It's not perfect but it's got almost everything I need. Would be great if you could respond to alerts though

Hi, I thought it was good when comparing to Fitbit and Apple Watch which do cost a lot more, I would say it was out by about 10% on most readings but other days it would out perform other devices. Have a great day.

Hi, thanks for your kind comment, when comparing it to the gym equipment it seemed to be around the same with a few beats of each way when measured my self on my other wrist it seemed to be accurate but my tests are not completely accurate.

Hi, you can and there is a lot more choice via the android app than the iOS app and more will be launched alongside the launch of the watch.

What is the battery life?
Hi, it was fully charged 5 days ago and with heavy usage with notifications and fitness its down to 61% which is really good. They say it should last 14 days with average usage and 30hrs with heavy usage with AOD and constant heart rate monitoring. so my initial impression is the battery is very impressive.

I bought it here in Greece and I didn't get any second strap. It costs extra 30 euros (35-40$). So sad :(

Can anyone please tell me how many gram is the whole box and the size (?mm X ?mm X ?mm). I refused today a shipment from China (COD) because the box feels so light and it was so small, smaller and lighter than the one from my wife (Amazfit GTR 42 mm). Outer carton incl. Huawei GT2 Box was 274 gram?

Hi, yes a couple of other reviewers and journalists I know and they said it lasts 3 days with full brightness and this is good.

it says on the bottom of the page that the box contains Watch x 1 (Fluorine rubber strap gifted in products with leather and metal strap).
