Hey Mons, if you don't mind me asking. Why did you decide on making this a hermit druid list over a FC list? I have been building this silly mutation myself and figured since it's an entire FC outlet I could just consult or tainted Pact for the FC aggressively and win that way without needing to wait a turncycle for summoning sickness. Also thought of including hermit initially but starting hands were too clunky with both narcomeba and scourge type of creatures. Cut cephalid + Greaves as well since I had cut hermit but am on the fence of maybe bringing those back.
I agree that this is not a druid deck. It's a food chain deck, that can hugely benefit from hullbreaker, aphetto and mesmeric orb. Hermit doesn't even synergize with the commander.
yeah meme bet is better than just rhystic there. Honestly i don't think i really considered meme bet as an option and didnt pay close enough attention to the graveyards at that point but i don't think i see a gamewinning line there still
I respect the try to at least win using bucaneer this time. However, it's not possible through a Bowmaster as he will just ping down your commander (Malcolm).

@@HellaLily ? That doesn't work. Your triggers are placed on the stack first. So you attack, you make the treasures after hitting, you pay for glinthorn activated, that triggers malcolm 3 times and then places a bowmaster trigger from opponent on stack. The bowmasters trigger resolves prob shooting malcolm, then malcolm dies if you trigger again.
@@crywolv1273the key is that glint horn has several different parts to the ability. As an additional cost you discard a card this means that it goes: discard a card > ping and make 3 treasures > draw a card > bowmaster trigger. Which means you always have everything you need to keep loooping on top

No it's possible. Just activate buccaneer again in response to bowmaster trigger

You cant win off glinthorn combo if there is a bowmaster the bowmaster will kill you or your creatures while you loop XD
You can activate Glinthorn on top of the Bowmasters triggers and win anyways
