Watching him do this in a video is NOTHING compared to witnessing it live. I saw him in 2018, and he blew my mind. Incredible live performer. It’s not just speed, it’s enunciation, passion, nuance, he’s one of the greatest lyricists we’ll ever see in this lifetime, insanely incredible lyricism, perfect rhythm, clear strong sound, supreme, inhuman breath control, raw aggression and he’s just nasty in all the songs that call for it, reflective pain in songs that are about pain and loss, pure love for the music in every second of his performance, he’s a connective, electrifying, legendarily incredible performer, he paces the whole stage the whole show, he’s electric, you can hear each and every syllable he raps so clearly even in the rapid fire, he gives it everything, and even though he’s going super fast he’s still riding that beat like a God, and then can drop back down into a new pocket and even sounds better than the recording, it’s just insane. All live vocals. And he performed with a full band including a string section. And he and they sounded and sound simply incredible live. And Mr. Porter has been doing it with him so long, they are perfectly in complete synchronicity and with just two people they absolutely tear the stage down🔥. He really is a master at the art of Emceeing. Skylar and Royce came out too, and the whole show was just phenomenal. If you’ve never seen him live, do it before it’s to late. Saw him at firefly 2018, here in Dover DE, which happens 5 miles from my house, and he was absolutely amazing. A once in a lifetime show, to a record breaking crowd of nearly 100,000 of us. The video is here on RUclips. And it was a very short drive home for us😂but you’d swear he’s still in his 20’s, the way he could run circles around people on that stage that are half his age! In fact, I think he’s never performed better live than he does now. He’s at the peak top of his game. Catch him live when COVID permits. It will be one of the greatest live performances you’ll ever witness. Think the music is keeping him young! True artistic genius.
People always say he(Em)didnt attract enough crowd in the US as he once used to yet ive literally seen at least 70-80k at least participating in the crowd in the US lately...
