Fortunately there was no need to be scared of Chris coming into my room!
It was great to meet you, Connor! Hope to see you in Tokyo again next time! 😄
Hope to see Connor but not Chris, right lmao
So you mean Chris is uhh gay.. Well it had to public someday but I thought it would be great like when he and connor adopt a baby but okay.
As long as you get a room that needs a ladder, you will be 100% safe from a wandering Chris!
I see an evil "Parody Manga" in all of this of course !......Dastardly Laughter!
@@sparshbansal7386 Chris is too good for women, only a man can understand what he truly needs
Let us never speak of capsule hotels again.
What did you do to chiaki?
I'm fully expecting a part three!! Love hotel was the prequel 😉
Chiaki was a nice surprise...
@@cgigammez5749 Clearly, he followed Trump's lead and grabbed her by the you know what.
Too bad. You will be stuck in capsule hotel hell for eternity 👹
Connor: complaining about where to put his clothes
Meanwhile Chris: Absolutely destroying his sleep-paralysis demon with his epic beatbox
Chris was just vibing
He absolutely killed it
It caught me so off guard
He was horrifyingly good
can you imagine being next to that or someone doing push-ups and only being able to hear it. 😳 just laying their wondering wtF
The bit starting at 13:23 where Chris suddenly started beatboxing while fiddling with the lights caught me completely off guard, so good 😂
I was just about to comment the same thing, goes from Connor complaining and struggling to the Chris POV and it's so fucking funny lmao
Saw your comment right as it happened XD
It reminds me o funny f scary movie Paranormal Activity sleeping
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love this too 😁
13:23, the best moment of the entire video, hands down. Chris in bed messing with the light while beetboxing. 10/10 bravo
I was about to mention that fkgndknf
And the pushups after lmaoo
Chris be spitting fire
Boxing all them beets for the farmers market.
In all seriousness that part was hilarious. Did not see it coming.
bro, what the fuck is with all the scams and bots in the replys, I dont get this many when I comment of other channel, is this a cdawg channel thing?
Chris playing with lights & shadows was so fun to watch 😂 I love these two together it’s so fun
He's a good beat-boxer!
I lost it when chris was just vibing and beatboxing with the light switch in the capsule
I actually worked for the company that makes the capsules for the 9h capsule hotel chain. They used me for its design so tall people like myself (6'4") would fit in it.
The 9hrs concepts doesn't lend itself to an experience like Books&Bed. The concept is 1hr of refreshment and relaxation, 7hrs of sleep, and 1hr of refreshing and relaxation, which makes for 9 hrs. I used to use it all the time when I had very early flights back to Europe. These hotels are often at airports where they are cheaper than airport hotels.
Ik was met de stagiaire van Books&Bed Shinjuku anders echt wel in een uurtje klaar. Ging prima, geen klachten, ik ben ook lang en paste prima, bedankt hoor.
i know a guy whose 7'2" and he once spent 3 years in japan
Chris's energy in this episode was literally contagious.
You should have it figured out by now what's figurative and what's literal.
@@englishatheart You don't understand. I have been physically incapacitated by this video... I thought it gave me the energy to go on a run but I was wrong... I've been running for 8 days straight. I am LITERALLY unable to stop.
Help me.
That cut from Connor complaining in his capsule to Chris beatboxing while playing with the lights in his actually made me snort out my drink so…thanks I guess
This had me honestly cry laughing 😹😹😹
This was the best part! I hope we get a music video out of it!
easily the highlight of my capsule stay!
The one place I think a capsule hotel concept would be perfect is at an airport. Being able to rent a comfortable space to rest and get away from the noise and lights for a few hours at least sounds amazing.
You're so right! I should be a thing. Having to spend a night at the airport is the worst, especially if you're alone with all of your stuff.
Some airports (Madrid, for example) have a hotel inside, where you can rent a room for the night or for a few hours. I don't know how big they are, but I believe they are a small room. But a cheaper option like a capsule hotel would be nice too.
A lot of airport hotels are pretty close to the experience; little rooms, hourly rates, often no windows...
I used the 9 Hours at Narita during my last visit. The capsule itself was quite comfortable, but unfortunately there was an ever so slight jostle whenever someone climbed a nearby ladder which woke me up several times during the night. It was fun to try once and I'd do it again if I was on tight schedule, but not if there was a regular hotel room as an option.
Sounds like you don't really get away from the noise at these things.
I was travelling 3 years ago in China and found exactly that, don't remember which airport it was, but it was like a few smart boxes lined up, kind of like 2x2x2 meters inside the terminal from which I was departing, which you could rent for like $5 an hour or something like that. They also had in the same airport some crazy premium seats you could rent while waiting for your flight which had massaging and an incorporated media system.
I went to China dismissing it as a communist country and when I came back from there I was like nope, authoritarian for sure but no communism to be seen, and we're pretty effed if they keep pumping up the crazy technological stuff like what I've seen... seriously I don't even want to get started about their train and metro stations.
For once Chris was packing the zoomer energy. Absolutely priceless footage from the second capsule. What a zaddy
... Jesse what the fuck are you talking about
haha yeah.. EXCUSE ME WHAT?
13:57 😜
But but but... Chris is millennial. I guess he can have the energy... he usually affects somewhat of a boomer complaining energy.
9:05 damn that morning voice does hit this guy hard
Chris has always been funny, but it’s been really cool to see his more goofy side ever since he met Connor. Good friends bring out good vibes. :)
You mean BOYFRIENDS. Confirmed by Chris himself who is also Ironmouse so in conclusion Connor x Ironmouse is canon.
Too true! it's really wholesome :)
they're boyfriends. i don't care if they're not irl. in video, these men are gay together
what are u on about? he was always goofy. mans a casual
@@kyle8952 sad and cringe
Chris being alone doing weird things was a real surprise for me. You don't normally see that side of Chris and its such a pleasant surprise.
I had totally pegged him as that kind of guy actually lol
We dont see it, but we all know he does it, and this didnt come as a surprise, even if it got a chuckle out of me just because I would do the exact same stuff. Dont give me a dimmer and not expect some fun to be had.
I mean he was literally filming it lol
he's always way gooflier when it's not his own video
Chris doesn't usually have me cry laughing but wacky wednesdays literally brings out the wackiest side of him. so funny
13:40 Sigma rule #135:

Ayo 🤨
13:30 The stages Chris does before going to sleep seems fun. Beatbox, Hand puppets, to doing push ups and just shut down.

I was looking for this comment 🤣
@@beginnersmindset5243 Immediately searched for push ups when I saw it in the video. Too funny.
Hahahahaaa I loved it, I also loved the morning Chris hair and the "maybe" answer lol
idk why but Chris doing pushups and then immediately passing out was so so fkn funny to me😂
13:41
yes! it was so funny I had to replay it a couple of times
Connor and Chris are such an ideal british duo. This is actually TV-level content
The chemistry between these two is getting better with every episode, and it makes it so much better to watch.
Wacky weekend is one of my favorite things to watch on RUclips. I wish you guys made episodes more frequently, but it's understandable since it requires alot of traveling. Traveling in itself is already hard and alot of work to plan for.
@Rare one thx man
@СDаwgvА 🅥 bruh these bots be impersonatin connor now
the bots are horrible
I think theres a feature by which creator can block links in comments, idk why they are not using it
@@twilight625 The audacity of these bots to even impersonate the One True Monke.
I didn't know Chris could beatbox. That was so cool!!
he literally does it all the time lol
Look at his older videos. It's more common in those
Chris is being more and more open and more comfortable when he's with Connor. I really love this duo
One things to note about the 9 hours style capsule hotel is that they may let you store big luggage behind the front desk. I did that at Nagoya airport one time coming in on a late flight. The capsule hotel was just a short walk away from baggage claim so it was really convenient. I feel like airports should be the biggest market for capsule hotels... Long layovers, early connections, business trips... Don't really understand why that isn't a thing in most of the world.
These Two Never Disappoint Us😌
Finally it's here

@@darkflightdreamer1698 What a bunch of lifeless losers
they just uploaded a love hotel video for the 16th time
Somebody go to these spam impersonators' home and beat them up for me? I feel lazy today.
13:23 completely encapsulates why Chris gets along so well with Natsuki
I love that Chris is just jamming out with the lights and beatboxing while Connor is just complaining about a stain on his shirt and nowhere to get undressed
I really like capsule hotels. I find the snug space cozy (at least while it's big enough for me to sit), and I like the privacy (occasionally while traveling with friends, having a space to yourself is nice after a week or so sharing a room).
From a convenience point of view, I wish good quality, affordable capsule hotels were an airport standard. I don't know how many times I've had a few hours wait on an airport and wished I could go somewhere for a nap/mental recharge.
I'm mostly confused how the $10 capsule managed to be sound proof but not the $100 one. Shouldn't they _all_ be sound proof?
Probably cause there was no one else staying at the $10 capsule hotel. There was only blinds to cover the capsule. If there was alot of people staying there it wouldn't be soundproof.
To cut costs, cheap plywood "capsules" to save on expenses, put effort into the aesthetics to attract tourists and the instagram crowd, and then pump up the prices, it's really not about the sleeping.
It wasnt actually soundproof they complained about hearing everything in it as well, it just has a little better isolation
“If you want the full rotisserie chicken experience…” Chris relating *everything* to chicken.
I stayed at 9hrs for 1 night in Tokyo and they actually do have space for big luggage - they give you something akin to a bicycle lock to loop around the handle of your luggage to lock it to a metal bar underneath the row of small lockers. Each capsule is assigned to 1 locker. It was a bit of a hassle keeping track of the bike lock key and the locker key but for a first time capsule hotel experience it was a good one
I went to a capsule hotel that also had an onsen. It was amazing. You come into the hotel and in a separate room have to undress and wear a bathrobe/slippers/boxers that you can just take. Nobody is allowed to wear their normal clothes in the actual hotel area. Then you have a 2 story onsen, some rooms where you can do your hair/make-up and a relaxing room with big leather couches and pure darkness. The pods themselves are ok as well. It's such an awesome experience.
Happen to recall the name of it? Or at least the city it was in?
@@PsRohrbaugh It was in Osaka, close to the famous running man billboard. Only cost $30 a night but no idea what it was called or where it was exactly.
When I was in Japan in 2018 I considered staying a night over at 9h during a quick stopover but, like Chris mentioned, a business hotel was just better for someone travelling.
On the other hand I did stay at a "capsule" hotel in Kyoto called The Millennials which was super cool. The capsules were huge, sized to 1.5 persons. And they also had room under the bed to keep your stuff, You could even leave it during the day because the capsules could be locked. It also helped that the reception/lounge area was on the 8th floor overlooking the mountains. 10/10, would stay again
yeah, it really depends on the hotel. I actually stayed at Book & Bed myself and i think it was the worst of all of them. Very cramped, terrible sound isolation so you can hear other people turning in their sleep, and it was quite hot as well.
Most capsule hotels I stayed at were fairly pleasant, at least way better than a regular youth hostel. First Cabin is a chain I can recommend. My best capsule experience was probably at Centurion Hotel Residential in Akasaka (Tokyo).
I also stayed at their Kyoto location and Tokyo location when I went in 2019. They were really nice since they were actual beds with the walls built to perfectly fit them. Hoping to go back in the fall/early next year and probably planning to stay there again.
Thank you for the tip, I will take a note for when I travel there S O M E D A Y lol
is thievery really that big of a thing in japan?
I did stayed in 9H. It was a really great experience, but then again I do have claustrophilia.
Connor: Complaining about undressing in a tight space
Chris: fiddling with the light while beatboxing and doing other random things
9:05 wow Connor getting on Corpse's levels of deepness
These are great - you guys have a natural comedic vibe together that is a lot of fun to watch - wish you would do these more frequently. Brings Back good memories from my 20s when I lived in Japan.
I am sorry Connor but the highlight of this video is Chris having a rave in his capsule before bedtime😂😂
So happy you guys made content for us while you’re both traveling and out of Japan. We appreciate it!! Stay safe while traveling! 🤗🤗
The dolly zoom of connor just saying "The egg sandwich was amazing" was easily the best part of this video.
The cut to Chris just beatboxing is priceless
That water splash when Chris was going down the capsule is so perfect. Nice edit, Mudan. Great job.

"A wolf amongst sheep, the connor cdawgva story." lol Awe Chris you get me every time. HA!
On both of my Japan visits Ive stayed in Book and Bed. First one was in Asakusa and I loved it. I think, there was a fan and a small safe inside the capsule as well. Im 156cm tall, so capsule hotels are actually pretty comfy for me. I was really suprised about it and loved the experience, also there actually were many books in English and the caffé breakfast was original. The second time, we stayed in a Book and Bed in Roppongi and it was a much worse experience. The newspaper mash walls and a "trendy" but pretty much a fire hazzard light-bulb-only lamps inside the capsules made me really nervous, doubled by the realisation we're on the 7th floor and theres no escape stairs, only a chair for 1 on the rope outside the windows. I had to search for the vaults and the noises... yes, every little creak could be heard and somehow I think they played the elevator music until really late which was annoying. One interesting thing was the view that was exactly like from Blade Runner.
I searched up book and bed in Asakusa and sadly the one I found says closed down :( was it in Kaminarimon, 2-chome-16-9? (sry idk how to read jp adresses)
I always enjoy these wacky weekend episodes. Thank you for doing them.

Even Chris got Morbed, nobody is safe
It’s always gonna be a great video when both Connor and Chris do a video together
was randomly introduced to your channel one day and have to say, wacky weekend is one of my favorite youtube series period. the chemistry between you and chris is fantastic and it's a nice way to see and experience by proxy really interesting and unique places in japan. really needed a new ep and this was such a treat!!
Bro the fitness youtuber music on Chris doing push-ups killed me. Also the dolly zoom?? Epic
I stayed in a $20 a night capsule hotel in Kyoto and it was super comfy, had an onsen and a large beauty bar to do your makeup and whatnot. I loved it🥰
There was also a small tv in the wall, not that i used it
name? of the onsen :)
11:43 looks like a prison inside of the Death Star
yo what are you doing here

I stayed in some of these while in Japan. You will definitely want a traveling power outlet expansion / surge protector. I had small one with 3-4 US outlets and 3-4 USB slots. I used it to charge all my stuff each night and plugged in a USB powered fan. That fan made it comfortable even with the rooms that built in AC.
love yalls videos together
I really giggled when Chris started doing random things while trying to sleep 😂
Reading a Donal Trump book and doing pushups before bed? Props to Chris for keeping that sigma grindset
13:57 I'll be seeing this image in my nightmares.
13:23 Chris' beatboxing was the most excellent thing in this entire video
Most (clean and safe) hotels in my area cost ~$200 a night or more so I'm pretty jealous of the prices

When Connor makes a joke and Chris has to actively keep his food in his mouth, Connor has succeeded.
your transitions are so solid :o and the functionality of the capsule hotels pales in comparison to their aesthetic!
Great video Connor, good seeing you and Chris again.
I love wacky weekend, because it's just more Chris. That fella is much too affable to not enjoy his presence.
You know, the English Full Battle Tendency Manga actually convinced me of Book and Bed.
