The Wayne Enterprises truck that delivers the photo at the start of the film has plates that read "JL828V2M", possibly refering to Justice League #82 vol. 2... The Return of Superman
Haha, yes but characters die all the time in comics. Doesn't stop them from coming back though. And this is the DC universe... so it's not completely out of the question.
I get what you're saying but it's just an opinion. He's died and come back before. And besides, his character can still make an appearance without literally coming back from the dead (like a dream sequence). Either way, it's not unheard-of for a character to come back in one way or another (especially with DC). Personally, I just liked Pine's take on the character.
Was great in the character, I was puzzled why no british accent? But if he went down in a plane full of lethal gas, I dont see him surviving. Only in flashbacks
That's a good point. I thought it was weird that the movie was set in London but I didn't even think about his lack of a British accent. Weird indeed. Yeah, I was thinking flashback too. But then again, he's been brought back to life by Aphrodite before so who knows. I definitely think flashbacks are more likely in the DCEU though.
Well the movie shifts her origins in the world to fight in WW 1 vs WW 2. Which is explained ( review articles) and it does work well with a "fish out of water" character during that specific era/time frame.
I think Steve Trevor calling Wonder Woman his secretary is a reference to the original justice league comics, where Wonder Woman was originally the secretary of the team not an actual Leaguer. The fact that Diana as a child is wearing the arm bands even though her mother has no intention in training her to be a warrior may suggest that they restrain her from a greater well of power like in the new 52 comics. And I may have seen Herme's Helmet (The one that grants Jay Garrick his powers in the new 52 Earth-2 comic) in the tower, but that could be wrong.
the "he does not care for it" made me laugh every time lmao. and straight up, i've already seen the fanfic where the lash goes back and saves him, really just cause he's a good bro. i've also seen a couple where zeus actually brings him back in some way. frankly, i am down for either to happen canonically. steve trevor was actually a really interesting character that i wold love to see more of, but i' pretty sure we'll only ever see him in flashbacks, dream, or -like you said- a descendant
Real talk, I'm happy for DC. They were down, but Wonder Woman is LEGIT. It's good to see them put out a hit. Also, that new DC opening logo they premiered before Wonder Woman was awesome!
Some Guy Technically the previous 2 movies were all hits... just not critical hits... As in they were pretty bad but still made money. But yeah, Wonder Woman is indeed legit. I love it.
"It can cut the electrons off an atom." Sounds impressive, until you remember that ... so can a balloon. That's what the whole rubbing it against your hair thing is.
He probably means it's sharp enough to split an atom. Wonder Woman did that with Superman once in the Superman/Wonder Woman comics. They were trapped, Superman asked her "Your sword is sharp enough to split an atom?" she said "Yes, but I wouldn't be able to see it" then Superman grabbed her hand and said "I can, I'll guide you" after which they split the atom causing an atomic explosion almost killing Superman because he absorbed all the blast to protect WW, WW was unharmed because of that. Those two were truly one of the best couples in comics, too bad Superman eventually died.
Major Cruelty I don't get it. They aren't human. There are no male Amazons which means they shouldn't be biologically compatible which means they shouldn't need men for procreation
The Alex Ross art of her holding the tank up could also be a reference to the final poster we got for the film, her holding a tank in an attempt to toss it on the doctor.
I wish it was this: experiencethewonder.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/2017-Mattel-DC-Comics-Multiverse-Wonder-Woman-Movie-10in-Collect-Connect-Action-Figure-Ares-002.jpg
tejas singh Japan wanted more than just German colonies though, they hoped to get a bit of China aswell, which in turn led to the invasion of Manchuria and then China
Diana and Steve are the best couple in a comic book film. Patty did this so right. I have my issues with with it (cause nothing is perfect), but WW is fucking awesome.
cause--a person or thing that acts, happens, or exists in such a way that some specific thing happens as a result; the producer of an effect 'cause--contraction of "because" The More You Know
after Justice league in particular I love the pairing of WW and batman, without Steve in the equation I think both really compliment each other. I hate the pairing of WW and supes though the only justification is "they're both strong"
License Plate on the Wayne Enterprises Armored Car was JL-828-VZM. The JL is a foreshadowing for later this November for The Justice League. I did some research and I could only find Detective Comics Volume 828 which was titled "Sharkbite" and features only Batman, Alfred, and the Riddler so I'm not sure why they put 828. It could be a reference to Superman Issue 82, Vol 2, which is the issue where Superman comes back to life. It's a little crazy, but hey, this is the DCEU!
Hodor yes I did, after I typed in all my notes and did research on it, I then copied and pasted my notes and put them on here. Good observation and thanks for giving the benefit of the doubt I did my own research rather than copy and paste other people's words. I watched the film twice and took notes in theater about the licence plate, not a very hard thing to do!
You also forgot, the one big similarity between Captain American the first and Wonder Woman where those two guys were flying planes with deadly weapons and sacrificed themselves to save the day ... both of those guys were named STEVE!
It's funny now, looking back at all the people who commented "Ugh, Ludendorf is obviously Ares. Could they have made it any more obvious?" on WW trailers. I bet they were really surprised at the end.
You didn't mention the revolving door scene was a reference to Superman (1978) too but maybe you knew that & didn't talk about it. She used the Gotchagirl in the film too, it made me smile. Was that super-cocaine a reference to something?
I think maybe the super-cocaine is an early version of Bane's Venom. It seems to have the same effect just not as strong. Also, it would be a nice easter egg. Similar to when they reference the Super Soldier Program in The Incredible Hulk.
It's almost a shot for shot recreation except that he gets his briefcase stuck & with her it's her shield. The Director has said in interviews it was an homage.
I Lived the Wonder Woman Movie. I love your breakdown of the similarities between the comic books, the videos, the TV show and now the movie. Im glad I found this!
I LOVED 99% of this film, but the last ten minutes was a bit too epic and CGI-ey. Feel that after a charming first two acts, they wrote themselves into a corner and had to be a bit too epic.
i agree...you get fatigued from watching them punch each other across the city. It felt like every fight scene in Man of Steel and BvS. They need to find a way to make the characters have more weight during the fight. Without it you really don't feel the stakes of a fight to the death. When Thor and Hulk fight they keep the action in on place.... Said differently if Wonder Woman punches a human, by all means make him fly into the next county. but if she punches another god, give the god at least some ability to absorb the hit.
These movies all seem to have the same problem. They end with a lot of "awesome" spectacle which is mentally and emotionally meaningless. It would be better to start with a serious dialog between hero and villain, and then base the fight on that.
I thought the same the first time I watched this movie. The second time, I just valued it for what it is and I enjoyed that last part immensely. Is it kind of cheesy? Yeah. Is it epic? Yeah. Very suiting for a superhero movie if you ask me.
Take into account how much more powerful DC characters are compared to Marvel characters in the comics. I personally loved it because it shows her true strength and we as fans can't wait to see how powerful Darkseid is going to be.
Great video. There's another Superman nod that I enjoyed just before the alley scene, where Diana has trouble getting through the revolving door. I heard your wife mention it on the podcast as a "bumbling" moment, but as a Superman fan, I immediately recognized the nod and got a bit of a chuckle.
You forgot lots of stuff like the reference to 300, the Snyder movie. Also we see Poseidon in Mount Olympus holding the same design of Trident as Aquaman. Which means that Wonder Woman and Aquaman are 3rd cousins. 🤷🏾♂️
I liked Ares' design mostly, I just thought that maybe in the flashback he shouldn't *spoiler* have the porno stache but yaknow, that's fine. It's not time-appropriate but it suits him I guess.
I think the much bigger problem is that, if Ares looked exactly the same in the flashback as he does now, why didn't someone draw Diana a picture, or at least give her a description of him? Seeing as her whole job was to find him and kill him I think knowing what he looks like would be pretty useful...
Liam Egan I doubt that Diana's mom would've known what Ares physical form looked like. As Gods tend to change their physical forms all the time in mythology. Plus it's been thousands of years since Ares overthrew the Gods. And also because he wore a fucking helmet for most of his days in Olympus lol. So they probably never saw his face. And their only source to find Ares is in the heart of the battle where the war is the most strongest.
Thread Bomb NO! Then what was the point of his sacrifice? It makes his death cheap, ironically like a "comic book death". If they do the "great great grandson" thing, that's not as bad, but still feels a little cheep
they just need to quit the whole "punching the guy into the next county" thing. if two powerful beings are fighting there's no need to show them flying all over the place. just film it as if two strong humans were fighting. it will be much more interesting that way.
Zack Brown my friends and I cracked up in the theater. and then having to see the mustache through the helmet lol. its my biggest problem with the movie, which says a lot. I think they should've completely transformed Aries rather than use the same actor and keep the mustache. or give him beard like a greek god or something.
haha nothing wrong with him having it in the movie; as dumb as it looked to us it was the style of the day and he was trying to blend in. But he definitely needed a full beard in the flashback.
Robert Wasserman I totally agree with the blending in. that was fine. he blended in great cuz no one suspected him of being Aries. but once he was showing himself as aries he shouldve like shed that skin or something idk. I just kept laughing when they gave a close up and you could see the mustache under the helmet lol.
Taking the mick can you tell me what all these invisible jet is about I didn't 't know much about wonder woman and until I saw the movie I became a fan
Basic Player basically in the comics during like the 80's Wonder Woman had a vehicle which was an invisible Jet... basically as stupid as it sounds really! Basically its basic basic... how many more times can I sneak that in?
Adams Yes! That's what I was thinking. Doctor Poison escapes, and likely Moves far away to hide her identity. Possibly, down to South America where she can continue her experiments on say, Hardened criminals.
The movie is great! I can't wait for the sequel. The easter eggs in this movie were very subtle which I liked. They weren't too distracting. I hope we get a Lynda Carter cameo in the next one. She would've been great as one of the senators in this movie.
I'm so happy this movie didn't become some kind of feminist system or influence. This is movie is great, it's one of the best of the year and story, plot, and theme, can be felt and inspire you no matter what sex, gender, race, or age you are.
Bir Long If you take the time to invent your own motivations and payoffs for all the boring unnecessary stuff that never pays off in BvS and ignore all the insanely clunky dialogue and dumb decision-making then yeah... total masterpiece😉
Yea, I've said the same thing on other videos. Without the gods WW is just like any other superhero and the power struggles and politics of the gods are one of the best parts of the WW comics.
It depends... I mean, when it comes down to it, the entire story is hearsay told by someone who, in essence, deceived her daughter her entire life? IMO leaves the door open a bit. I hope. Because otherwise I agree that it wastes a potentially interesting aspect of her story pretty needlessly. Besides, gotta be a way to loophole Hades into being able to avoid death at least.
I think we have enough problems in the universe. The Gods being all dead would explain why other events have happened. If they were still alive Stepphen Wolf's invasion would've been halted and would've put too many characters into the movie . Idk they might come back.
ah cool, I see what you mean. it's now in "our" hands. what do we think the possibility of other pantheons appearing ¿/or/? the JL becomes the New New Gods like in the new52
Could she just... not have a relationship with one of the other people, please? Make Cyborg and Green Lantern a relationship or something if you have to have one, or invent a new female superhero to join your mysteriously sex based hero team :P
kypzethdurron It's not that I want them to be in a relationship, just the sorta flirty thing that they did in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons. Just seems like a nice little nostalgiac callback. But you might be right, might not fit with the old disgruntled batman of the DCEU, either that or it makes it all that more entertaining, who knows.
The Wayne Enterprises truck that delivers the photo at the start of the film has plates that read "JL828V2M", possibly refering to Justice League #82 vol. 2... The Return of Superman
Alejandro Valadez I was curious about that. Thanks
Alejandro Valadez Damn dude, you're a nerd :) nice
Alejandro Valadez That was by far the most nerdy sentence I have ever read. And I love it
Alejandro Valadez that's what I thought when I saw it
DPSWidow 😂 😂 😂 lol
Pine was great in WW. Would be great to see him again in future DCEU movies.
Haha, yes but characters die all the time in comics. Doesn't stop them from coming back though. And this is the DC universe... so it's not completely out of the question.

El Dordo Mufasa it wasn't there
I thought so until i saw her not wearing it when she was in the gala
It was all from Marston’s original run. She was Steve Trevor’s secretary in the War Dept.
"and is considered by many to be Classic 70s TV. Meaning by today's standards it's borderline unwatchable" Almost fell out of my chair! lol
Gal Gadot couldn't fill Linda Carter's bustier to save her own life.
"I'm not lying, we're going anyway... and we're probably gonna die... this was a bad idea..."
*terrible idea
There wasn't a post-credit-scene which really shocked the 95% of the audience that stayed behind
tiamta what percentage stayed because they knew a Sia song was coming?
tiamta I don't DC does post credit scenes.
after like 5 minutes i googled it, it said no extra scene, i left.
AWESOME-O ha, me too
Im glad it didnt who actually wants to hang back at the movies?
fuck that Marvels "formula" is fucking tired and played out.
I had high hopes for this.... I was not disappointed.
Same, I was the complete opposite of disappointed. I was elated with this movie.
i was kinda disappointed. it is way better than the previous ones, but it is still sad that this is the best DC has to offer.
kpanga Lol gtfo with your trolling ass!
how is it giving an opinion trolling?
kpanga Because you are false!
Love the revolving door scene!!
WONDERful Superman reference!
the "he does not care for it" made me laugh every time lmao. and straight up, i've already seen the fanfic where the lash goes back and saves him, really just cause he's a good bro. i've also seen a couple where zeus actually brings him back in some way. frankly, i am down for either to happen canonically. steve trevor was actually a really interesting character that i wold love to see more of, but i' pretty sure we'll only ever see him in flashbacks, dream, or -like you said- a descendant
Gal Gadot is a fantastic casting decision!!!
wonderful cast
Kevin Christoffers unfortunately she is only get paid 3K for the three movies that she is doing for dc
Not really
Stop with the bullshit, Glarycelis. She's already debunked that.
RosieSquall don't have to be rude. I am a person you know!
I like how human the characters were, the fear in Steve's eyes as he prepares to pull the trigger.
Been loving these past few sponsors
Real talk, I'm happy for DC. They were down, but Wonder Woman is LEGIT. It's good to see them put out a hit. Also, that new DC opening logo they premiered before Wonder Woman was awesome!
some guy is my steam name :D
This makes you awesome. Also, my steam name is GUYINYOURHEAD
Some Guy Technically the previous 2 movies were all hits... just not critical hits... As in they were pretty bad but still made money. But yeah, Wonder Woman is indeed legit. I love it.
Some Guy I think Wonder Woman maybe my favorite DC film today
Yeah took bad DC fanboys have a problem with doing the same lol
"It can cut the electrons off an atom."
Sounds impressive, until you remember that ... so can a balloon.
This movie was, at the very least, Steve Trevor-ish: above average!
"men are essential for procreation but when it comes to pleasure, unnecessary"
Well it's kinda right in a way. Men isn't exactly needed for pleasure. There's lots of avenue. ;p Just saying.
lol that part was hilarious
It could also said of women as well.
Major Cruelty I don't get it. They aren't human. There are no male Amazons which means they shouldn't be biologically compatible which means they shouldn't need men for procreation
+Kim Taylor funny same goes for men. They've just made a bio mechanical female reproduction system
The Alex Ross art of her holding the tank up could also be a reference to the final poster we got for the film, her holding a tank in an attempt to toss it on the doctor.
This movie stole my heart.
Heather Fischer ONGG SAMEEEE
Saw this movie yesterday on a whim, and was not disappointed. I can't wait for the Justice League film.
Katie Forsyth haha zack snyder haha
Raul P. Zack snyder is also one of the writer of wonder woman movie
Wonder Woman loses points for Ares' mustache.
Ares sucked period. His armor was cool. Besides that the movie didn't need him.
I wish it was this: experiencethewonder.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/2017-Mattel-DC-Comics-Multiverse-Wonder-Woman-Movie-10in-Collect-Connect-Action-Figure-Ares-002.jpg
Yeah! Just found out, so stoked!
ItsTheJester
*gains points.
If there going to bother giving ares a mustache, make ares hitler, it makes sense
I really like the mythological references contained in the movie.
You know nothing of the gods!
I enjoyed the Wonder Woman movie going to see it again.
Same here.
Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman may be the best casting since Ledger as Joker. Don't @ me.
Cj Brown I agree
Phil Verhey not that deep fam. Just a sassy saying.
She was fine but I wouldn't go that far.
@Cj Brown
She certainly was on par with Christopher Reeves as Superman as far as my wife and I were concerned...
Loved this movie! Thank you for confirming what I thought about the alley scene being a parallel to Chris Reeve's Superman.
Wow, this is the most work I've ever seen put into a weekly series. Nice work.
Pretty smart that Ares was working towards what was essentially the Treaty of Versailles... we all know whom THAT pissed off...
Bibo Reyes Lmao truee...
Bibo Reyes The Japanese? Kidding I know it was Hitler. But also the Japanese too
tejas singh Japan wanted more than just German colonies though, they hoped to get a bit of China aswell, which in turn led to the invasion of Manchuria and then China
Ricardo Sosa Yeah but it didn't technically "piss off" the Japanese as Lancaster Responding said.
tejas singh I was going go into a whole thing about treaties and ships and politics but I don't feel like ranting lately
I think that you have missed something about Dr. Poison. She didn't seem important but she could've been the inventor of the Bane Venom.
Daniel's Day at good point
Daniel's Day at that's a theory, not an Easter egg. I like it though.
Sebastian Quintero the gas that the German guy was uses is extremely reminiscent of banes venom.
Diana and Steve are the best couple in a comic book film.
Patty did this so right. I have my issues with with it (cause nothing is perfect), but WW is fucking awesome.
cause--a person or thing that acts, happens, or exists in such a way that some specific thing happens as a result; the producer of an effect
'cause--contraction of "because"
The More You Know
Alex Love The best Comic book film couple is Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes.
after Justice league in particular I love the pairing of WW and batman, without Steve in the equation I think both really compliment each other. I hate the pairing of WW and supes though the only justification is "they're both strong"
Sorry, but the best couple in a comic book movie belongs to a different early 20th century Steve and brunette.
i wonder if wonder woman (hehehe get it) will flirt with batman or vice versa. We shall see.
Excellent movie and a good start for WW in the DCEU!
Every shot of her was like a beauty and fierce shot. An Amazonian warrior is what I am to be 😍
License Plate on the Wayne Enterprises Armored Car was JL-828-VZM. The JL is a foreshadowing for later this November for The Justice League. Hodor yes I did, after I typed in all my notes and did research on it, I then copied and pasted my notes and put them on here. Good observation and thanks for giving the benefit of the doubt I did my own research rather than copy and paste other people's words. Also the number on the door at the hotel was 23 referencing the alphabet *'W'*
You also forgot, the one big similarity between Captain American the first and Wonder Woman where those two guys were flying planes with deadly weapons and sacrificed themselves to save the day ... both of those guys were named STEVE!
And both actors are named CHRIS
Timbo Slice They both have the same first names in comics and real life. coincidence?
joanel guerrier I think not. Illuminati confirmed.
Very strange indeed
Timbo Slice The Dark Knight Rises ending Anyone..????
Wonder Woman was great and probably one of the better superheroes movie out there. Hopefully justice league will follow suit
kevinlim77 you really think so? It was okay. Maybe a 6.5. But DEFINITELY not a 94 like in rotten tomatoes.
1Brick2Brick3 It was DEFINITELY an improvement from BvS
This was the best movie I have seen in a while
It's funny now, looking back at all the people who commented "Ugh, Ludendorf is obviously Ares. Could they have made it any more obvious?" on WW trailers. I bet they were really surprised at the end.
TBH, I could tell from the start that Ludendorff wasn't Ares. But I was very surprised about who Ares really was in the movie.
Breaking TEN I guessed it was him. There was no other reason for him to be in the movie as prominently as he was.
It was cool seeing Spud from Trainspotting in this.
That's who it was! I was racking my brains trying to figure out where I recognized the actor from, and hadn't gotten round to googling it yet.
sweeneythom77 thought I was the only one who had a big smile on the face when he came in
He was also in Black Hawk Down as an American Ranger.
Pigmiwarrior That's a pretty big cliche in a lot of movies
I think its a thing for those who have never seen a revolving door, but ya the door think I didn't think about it until you pointed that out - cool.
It's almost a shot for shot recreation except that he gets his briefcase stuck & with her it's her shield. The Director has said in interviews it was an homage.
Finally a great Wonder Woman film.
Bradley Bowermeister finally just getting a Wonder Woman film! Can't believe there's never been one before!!!
My god, Ive been blown away! It was a great movie and deserves all the praise it gets! Im Just floored!
This is the first of your videos I've seen., nice and comprehensive. I'll be tuning in for more...thanks!
I wanna watch wonder woman non Stop!
I would like to see flash and Superman race at some point in the movies
Wonder Woman delivered. It had both wonder and woman in it.
Absolutely love these videos, they bring so much insight into movies. Thanks MRSUNDAYMOVIES 🙌🙌🙌
WW was deeper than I thought AND I thoroughly enjoyed it!! Thanks for the Easter Eggs!
This movie was great. Do it again DC. make more good ones
gal gadot is stunning
No Argument here
That's just a scientific fact.
robert green Because she auditioned and is talented maybe?
The Ares twist was a sudden nod to #GotchaGirl
I so look forward to your brilliant videos, I've been watching for a long time and truly relish each and every one.
I Lived the Wonder Woman Movie. I love your breakdown of the similarities between the comic books, the videos, the TV show and now the movie. Im glad I found this!
DAMN IT IS A GOOD MOVIE GOOD JOB PATTY JENKINS AND GAL
Use your indoor voice, honey.
+r0bw00d Not when your excited!!
weed 420 it was *WORTH IT*!
could you imagine if Bruce Wayne sent a tweet to Wonder Woman of the photo
LOL
But they probably wanted the actual original physical photo.
TheSwagtacular They did in the movie.
Would have changed the entire course of the DC Universe.
I LOVED 99% of this film, but the last ten minutes was a bit too epic and CGI-ey. Feel that after a charming first two acts, they wrote themselves into a corner and had to be a bit too epic.

Great video , I saw this film last night and I'm still buzzin !

Wonder Woman is now officially my fav superhero movie 👌🏻
Superman disliked this video 22 times.
He did not care for it.
Batman disliked the rest.
Awesome movie, thanks for the easter eggs. Can't wait for a second one!
Love your channel man!
The part where ww sees steves plane blow up and she rages reminds me of Vegeta raging lol
obviously ares mustache was made out of the hair thor shaved off in ragnarock
bless this movie! :)
i nearly spewed in the cinema because of my hangover, refused to leave Wonder Woman was too good !!!
yehled I Haha wow
WW: So good I didn't vomit.
Great vid Mr. Sunday. Keep em coming.
This is what I was waiting for thanks!
I gotta say, all these castings in DC were met with torches and pitchforks but Batfleck and Gadot are spot on. Good on'ya DC :)
*Good on ya zach snyder
Never thought I'd agree with that :D
I remember how much hate him and gal gadot received when the announcement happened in 2013. They both truly deserve kudos.
True, respect given where respect earned, and Gal really got in shape for the role
I liked Ares' design mostly, I just thought that maybe in the flashback he shouldn't *spoiler* have the porno stache but yaknow, that's fine. It's not time-appropriate but it suits him I guess.
Billbo The Negative Pagan Wait what stache?
I didnt see it.....
He had a mustache in a flashback to when he was way younger. They put no effort into making him look younger.
Billbo The Negative Pagan The actor looks weird without the stache, also because of the time period of
time the stache.
I'm more excited for Wonder Woman 2 than Justice League at this point.
I''m wondering how they'll bring Pine back. (Hope they do)
Thread Bomb NO! Then what was the point of his sacrifice? It makes his death cheap, ironically like a "comic book death". If they do the "great great grandson" thing, that's not as bad, but still feels a little cheep
Loved the movie and your video! I bought loads of WW comics one week before the movie. Your video references are awesome.
I actually love this channel and all the videos he does
I think DC should stop putting in HUGE end battles and maybe put more character driven ending scenes.
Robowing™ Did you watch the film!
they just need to quit the whole "punching the guy into the next county" thing. if two powerful beings are fighting there's no need to show them flying all over the place. just film it as if two strong humans were fighting. it will be much more interesting that way.
yeah i think it should be more small scale
if we didnt get the battle scenes there would b more backlash
how can you not mention the ridiculous Ares mustache flashback??
Zack Brown my friends and I cracked up in the theater. and then having to see the mustache through the helmet lol. its my biggest problem with the movie, which says a lot. I think they should've completely transformed Aries rather than use the same actor and keep the mustache. or give him beard like a greek god or something.
Jose Davila amen to all those points!
haha nothing wrong with him having it in the movie; as dumb as it looked to us it was the style of the day and he was trying to blend in. But he definitely needed a full beard in the flashback.
Robert Wasserman I totally agree with the blending in. that was fine. he blended in great cuz no one suspected him of being Aries. but once he was showing himself as aries he shouldve like shed that skin or something idk. I just kept laughing when they gave a close up and you could see the mustache under the helmet lol.
shed his skin? he's not a demon, he's a human like god
If you look closely you can see the invisible jet! ;)
Taking the mick i saw the jet at the end when WW jump 😄
So happy this movie turned out how it did. I was smiling the whole time.
Definitely the best DCEU movie so far. Love the podcast!
When the Wayne enterprises truck showed up you could hear a hint of Batman's theme
I loved this movie!
I think the gas that General lunderdoff takes is the same thing that bane takes to power up.
It's very similar none the less, it can be altered later to become the green venom bane takes but still it maybe.
Adams Yes! That's what I was thinking. Doctor Poison escapes, and likely Moves far away to hide her identity. Possibly, down to South America where she can continue her experiments on say, Hardened criminals.
Adams Md I believe it was the earliest version of the venom, which will be altered over the years.
So glad someone pointed out the Deathstroke reference
Looking forward to your video like this for The Mummy that opens this weekend!
The movie is great! I can't wait for the sequel. The easter eggs in this movie were very subtle which I liked. They weren't too distracting. I hope we get a Lynda Carter cameo in the next one. She would've been great as one of the senators in this movie.
az25blue omg i was looking for her thru the whole movie.
I scream you scream Diana screams for ice cream
I'm so happy this movie didn't become some kind of feminist system or influence. This is movie is great, it's one of the best of the year and story, plot, and theme, can be felt and inspire you no matter what sex, gender, race, or age you are.
My wife and I took our kids to Wonder Woman yesterday. It was awesome, and they all had a great time, even the 3-year-olds!
Good descriptions and breakdown of past, present & future.
i was waiting for steve to tell diana (or anyone) "i gotta put it in the water"
"He does not care for it."
James never stop talking about Sky High its a pretty good film.
wewillalleatglass I love that its my Child Hood
Thanks for the review. Just saw the movie last night at the drive in and thought it was great!
great job u kept it interesting even though the film doesn't have a lot of Easter eggs
This the best dcu movie
Dan Defran man of steel
AaBb aAbB Wonder Woman is still better
Dan Defran naaa BvS is. More ambitious, smart & enjoyable ( when you take the time )
Bir Long If you take the time to invent your own motivations and payoffs for all the boring unnecessary stuff that never pays off in BvS and ignore all the insanely clunky dialogue and dumb decision-making then yeah... total masterpiece😉
Wait, there's an island full of women like her, with no men on it?
Smallmercy how can I get there???
This scene got the whole audience laughing lmao
How do we get there?
#gotchagirl
You guys are hilarious! Keep it going!
Dope video! Love watching these
I saw atrocities in that new dc intro at the start of Wonder Woman
Specifics?
Sweg yo Sweg you mean atrocitus?
Does anyone else dislike what they did with the Gods? i think they threw away allot of potential
MeZmerTized nah don't think they would have a place in this universe
I think we have enough problems in the universe. The Gods being all dead would explain why other events have happened. If they were still alive Stepphen Wolf's invasion would've been halted and would've put too many characters into the movie . Idk they might come back.
ah cool, I see what you mean. it's now in "our" hands. what do we think the possibility of other pantheons appearing ¿/or/? the JL becomes the New New Gods like in the new52
really want to see the whole Diana Bruce thing to happen in the movies.
oops __ it'd certainly be a welcome change to all the WW x Superman pairings over the past decade
oops __ YEP IM A SHIPPER
Could she just... not have a relationship with one of the other people, please?
Make Cyborg and Green Lantern a relationship or something if you have to have one, or invent a new female superhero to join your mysteriously sex based hero team :P
kypzethdurron It's not that I want them to be in a relationship, just the sorta flirty thing that they did in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited cartoons. Just seems like a nice little nostalgiac callback. But you might be right, might not fit with the old disgruntled batman of the DCEU, either that or it makes it all that more entertaining, who knows.
kypzethdurron Boi
Love me mr Sunday hahaha
It definitely deserves all the hype that it's getting. Gonna watch it a second and third time. A comic book movie classic for me
