    What size is the ball?

    • @diyTheMommyWay
      @diyTheMommyWay  4 месяца назад

      It all depends on the size of the cardboard you choose. Here the ball I used is the size of a ball ice cream. Make sure it’s light weight. The size is actually your choice .

    When you pop the ballon, won't the layer of tissue be damaged or broken

    • @diyTheMommyWay
      @diyTheMommyWay  11 месяцев назад

      No. It was not damaged. Just add two to three layers of tissue and make sure that you add very little water to the glue and let it dry completely before you pop the balloon. Go for it.

    Can we use motor to move the earth slowly instead of hand ??

    • @diyTheMommyWay
      @diyTheMommyWay  11 месяцев назад

      Hey that’s a nice idea, I’ve not tried it though. If you are using make sure the orbit is sturdy enough to ensure smooth movement of earth.

      Sorry, I couldn’t understand, I think you are asking how long we have to wait for the balloon to dry,…
      When you touch you can feel that it is hard and that’s the right time. It will take around 1 to 2 days. Make sure to add very little water to the glue so that it is hard and retains the round shape

    Can u tell all the materials pls?

    • @diyTheMommyWay
      @diyTheMommyWay  Год назад +1

      Most of them are cardboard. I used balloon and tissue paper and white glue for the sun, thermocol ball, straw and paint for the earth, I used foam sheets to write the months, you can use color papers too. I used fairy lights to light up the sun. Hope this helps

    • @diyTheMommyWay
      @diyTheMommyWay  11 месяцев назад

      Oh.. is it, make sure the circle ⭕️ piece you are sticking as base of straw is thick enough to hold the weight of the earth, and the earth 🌍 should be very light weight. I really hope that it works for you. This model won the second prize in the school exhibition.
