Nice intro start with the water fall I thought Metri Lake looks inviting. don't want to be on the main road, would hate all the dust getting kicked up. where you're at looks really quiet, peaceful. Have a nice weekend. Loved seeing you, Moo-moo, Jeff, & Kellogg.

The areas at Mittry lake along the water with the earthen peninsulas are day use only. The signs have been removed. We were asked to leave that area last year. The ranger said the signs had been removed.....

The bird is a little blue Heron. When I lived in Kentucky we actually found a Great Blue Heron on our driveway. It was in the middle of winter, too. The Heron must have gotten blown off course by a storm. I felt real bad for the bird, looked like it was cold 🥶.
