Police dogs on duty are ready to grab criminals by the arm, biting if necessary, & wrestle them to the ground any second. You do not want to pat a police dog on duty.
@maryannlohr7379 They were definitely crowding that horse. If, for some reason it had spooked, they would be screaming that they were hurt. Stupid people. They want their personal space, but don't allthis horse to have its personal space.
@ladybee883 well said 👏. They would scream, sue, and say that the rider was at fault. You can NEVER predict what a well-behaved/trained horse will do if it becomes spooked. The saying fight or flight can turn on a dime for a horse ~ any horse 🐎. I have people in my family that are medical. A woman who said she had the sweetest horse in the world kicked her so hard that she ended up in the ICU with a perfect imprint of a horseshoe on her torso with potential life-threatening injuries. That is what happens when you are dealing with a prey animal.
@lassie- I grew up on a small ranch in the US, and was always around horses and cattle. We had one horse that a baby could crawl around near and they (she) would stand perfectly still until someone grabbed the child. She was the exception. All the others were very "wired" cattle horses, tame enough when they were working, but didn't like being petted. These people wouldn't think of waking up to a large dog and crowding its space - unless they were looking for a "payday".
Them horses been molested, violated, groped talk about sexual harassment. All those ppl touching them. People forget these are military horses and soldiers. Where is the respect?
These horses are amazing, the tourists crowd around them and hands touching them constantly, how it doesn’t drive them mad I don’t know, they should get a medal 🏅 why do they allow it?
I notice, once again, the lady in the red coat, of the older generation, had the courtesy to thank the guard. Pity some of the youngsters don't do so.🤔🐴
When I see them messing with the area above the horses nostrils I can’t help but think how would they feel if I squeezed their nose and prevent them from breathing.
The sad thing: people are learning to shove a child in front b/c the soldier doesn't want to frighten a child. Then the adults move in crowding horse and rider. NOT VERY NICE. TO THE POLICE: DO YOUR JOB MATES. I feel sorry for the soldiers and horses. To the Guards: Thank you for your respectful service ❣️
Those poor horses. Why is that allowed..I am shouting at them to leave it alone..All those hovering hands…Women doing magazine poses. Men looking macho cos they touched a horse.🤬Wish that guard would do something..
If a human was touched so many times by strangers without their giving permission, they would have good grounds for suing for assault. I am surprised that no animal welfare organisation has interceded on the horses behalf to have this practice of being constantly manhandled while doing a job of work. I am disgusted at the total lack of respect by these self entitled tourists that seem to regard the horses and the professional soldiers as some kind of Disney characters.
And I was wondering what would happen if there was an emergency, with all those people in front of the King’s Guard and Horse, how they would get out? There should be a perimeter around there.
Yes there should be some sort of a barrier between guard and horse and tourist these people have no respect life would be much easier for them if they had a barrier
The police should butt in and get rid of all the awful shouting teenages. Trouble is, when the horse is moved back, it just seems to encourage the Mongol Hordes to move forward. The Father with the two little boys near the end is very lucky that the horse didn't move forward a couple of foot, he would have knocked one of the boys over.
One might think these people had never in their life seen a horse, for they're like a shoal of Piranha in a feeding frenzy, poking, prodding, and generally making a nuisance of themselves. I'm quite surprised that the authorities have allowed it to continue for so many years. I'm looking forward to seeing a horse get so fed up with them that it finnally takes someone's fingers off! I also think that there should be signs stating "Do not crowd/touch the horse." However, people being what they are, they only think of themselves, and to heck with how the animal might behave. The levels of disrespect to both guards and their mounts is truly shameful.
I feel so sorry for these horses having to put up with the stupidity of people. There should be stiff fines for grabbing the reins and disrespecting the spillers when on duty.
Oh no, the same woman that harrasses the horses that was seen in previous videos. This time she was wearing a gray blazer but at least didn't stay as long as before.
In addition to the kicking & biting sign, why not simply hang a sign on the other side: DO NOT TOUCH THE GUARD, REINS, BRIDLE OR OTHER HORSE EQUIPMENT - - ???
@@Tuscany60 may I suggest that you do not presume to tell a member of the Lifeguards or the Blues and Royals that they are mounted because they are lazy.
These Guards and Horses are on duty. They have a very difficult tiresome job having to put up with all the noise and disrespect from some of these people. The police officers need to help control these tourists.
This should not be allowed poor horse did not know where to move his head where are the police standing talking the other side of gates they should move tourists on when they are getting to invasive
Come up! Come up! One and all to the petting zoo!!! Surely people can show some respect for working soldiers - and I do include the horse as a soldier - and form a line. 🥰💖🐎
I don’t know why these are so compulsive to watch when I could just spit at the disrespect. Neither the guard nor the horse are tourist attractions. Don’t touch! Give them room! So disrespectful.
It's a huge tourist attraction and generally they don't mind people patting the horses. The horses seem to like it sometimes too because it helps prevent them from getting bored. The problem comes in when they crowd up on top of the horse or they make the mistake of touching the guard or grabbing the tack. Just be respectful and you'll be fine.
I wonder whether these people while driving through the countryside stop and pat horses they see? Why the need to stroke, pa, tickle, etc. these trained military horses? The way most are behaving like they’ve never seen horses before!
The more i see ALL these crowds around the horses day in & day out, it occurs to me they are a danger in transmitting all these different diseases to each other & to the horses. Have not seen 1 mask or any social distances. There are babies & children with no safe guards to themselves or to others.
I agree with everything said here but can you expect from Americans it's a shame they ever landed on Ellis Island. The A merican Indians had more manners than the Europeans who landed on Ellis Island
Don't make assumptions about nationality of the touchy feely people, sound like foreigners to me, speaking little or no English. So don't be calling them Americans.
How about they put the horse where the solitary guard is inside and the solitary guard in the box outside ? That way they could not reached the horse as there is a chain. Just a suggestion.
Qué ridículos son los que se acercan al caballo y le tienen pánico. Para qué lo hacen? Nadie los obliga a sacarse fotos? Además, ES UN CABALLO, qué creen que les va a hacer?
Poor Horse getting crowded like that. Excellent training and horsemanship.
But where are officers who should keep crowds back...for the horses and public safety??? Would think they would at least check occasionally!?
I agree with you Shirley 💯 👍
Drives me mad all these people once again a very luvly patient guard with his horse🐴💕🐴💕🐴💕XX
The Guard should not allow multi people to pet the horse at the same time
why are theses vlogs so fascinating ? i cant stop watching!
You can't pat a police dog on duty, why is it that you can pat these beautiful horse's while on Duty GSTK🇬🇧
Police dogs on duty are ready to grab criminals by the arm, biting if necessary, & wrestle them to the ground any second. You do not want to pat a police dog on duty.
Definitely, and the way they were all on top of the horse I'm sorry but I would've had to say something

Although he handled being swamped by a bunch of people well, the poor horse doesn’t need three or four people touching him at once.
Good grief, that poor horse was literally being mobbed
So rude and ignorant.
Them horses been molested, violated, groped talk about sexual harassment. All those ppl touching them. People forget these are military horses and soldiers. Where is the respect?
It’s awful! I wish there were more "biting and kicking" at times.
Where are the warning signs?? Though frankly didn't do much good !!
@@shirleyfisher8313 There are no other signs. The MOD promote a free and liberal environment outside Horseguards.

Thought for one minutes you meant The Gruesome Woman in Red" was back. Thankfully it was a very polite lady.
Youngsters are not taught good manners anymore, right from wrong, respect etc etc. No wonder this world has gone nuts

Why did the guard not call for help this is ridiculous
This disrespect is shockingly out of hand. A barrier must be put up to keep these idiots FAR away.
Guard should tell them to get back
Anyone think they’d never seen a horse before like fleas on a dogs back being petted poor horse.

Shocking behaviour. You wouldn't touch the officers and paw their medals and uniform.
Time for some respect. Peace
The way they SWARM the horse & Guard- disgusting AND VERY DANGEROUS!
Hands all over and in the horses face!
WHY does the guard tolerate it..? He should tell them to Get back. Imagine what it's like in the summer time..unbearable.
Why isn't there a sign on the wall? Come to thing of it, not many people take any notice of it , anyway.
Don't touch th horse. Peace and love
The horse is like…who are you tiny human?
Too many hands at the same time.Poor horse. The Guard should not allow it.

I would love to hear the conversation between guards at the end of their stag. Or perhaps not ....

They should train their horses to give a hard sideways headbutt , when they've had enough of a tourist. It'll knock the nuisance person flying.
That woman with the baby just walks in front of the older woman in the red coat
They need to erect a barrier to keep the crowds back. So many of these tourists are very disrespectful and defiant.

The horse's facial and eye expression at 7:13 changes to show that he is unhappy and it takes to 7:30 to relax again, but no one backs off.
