I rode this by accident when I got to Spadina Ave station. I got mixed up trying to find the Yellow Line headed southbound to Union Station. Found this instead. Destination sign said "Union Station", so I hopped on before it took off. Nicer ride than the subways. Those feel like a very bad amusement park ride.
actually, your proably think of the clrvs, but they had a counter part the alrv, the long bois. im pretty sure you mean u were born with the pcc, then the clrv and alrv came, then the flexidy outlooks. so your 4 streetcars old
Damn, those streetcars are extremely sexy. If I come back to Toronto, I've definitely gotta ride the transit again, and just a fyi, the transit in Kitchener sucks, if you thought TTC was bad way early on, then think again. It's cheaper bus passes for 4x heavily crappy service with the GRT.
Very sleek and state-of-the-art, but I better go back to Toronto so I can enjoy the CLRV/ALRVs before they're gone, as there aren't too many conventional high-floor trolleys left over in North America. 1:41 I love the triple door chime and strobe just like the subway, without the unnecessary "please stand clear of the doors" you get on the Rocket.
Ive been on these only twice now, and theyre cool, but they do not take well to turns hehehe :p still, keep em coming :) and put a nose light too like on the CLRV!
Although the Flexity is a nice design, I'm pretty sure after the delays from the small R179 order, and even hearing how the Flexities have been delayed for Toronto and even screwed up the first car, they won't be contracting them for a long time
Thats because they are not streetcars at all, they are actual light rail vehicles meant for right of ways and legit light rail transit but just operating as streetcars
QuarioQuario54321 there's no point in having two ends because the system is designed for si gle end operation. However for the Eglinton and Finch LRT lines, the vehicles for those will be double ended.
This is amazing , seriously , I want to live in Toronto just to use these streets car 😵 How can I be operator ? Is it difficult to be an employees of TTC?

This is the 3rd "new" streetcar model I've seen released in Toronto in my lifetime. I am 4 streetcars old :)
LOL

@@Humulator Dang I'm old :(
Editing to 4 streetcars instead of 3.
The MBTA Green Line TOTALLY needs some of these bad boys!
OMG YES! THESE BAD BOYS WILL MAKE BOYLSTON FINALLY SOUND PEACEFUL!
Entering Boylston! No Smoking Please! Doors will open on the right...
Boylston! The Destination of this train is Lechmere...
Charles Randolph I say they should get them for the Matapan line
Brian R mbta said they just gonna give the Type 7s to them temporarily then get some new trains
Absolutely
0:49 curse you bombodiair your killing the hawker I WILL GET YOU!!! lol
Fucking Bombardier had to overthrow the hawkers
I loveToronto because it's a beautiful city.
It’s 0:50
Tony The Go!Animator Ikr
@@SRBAnimate Good thing is, Bombardier is no longer building rail products as of 2021!
0:50 Cruse You Bombardier TV Your Killing The Hawkers You Will Play For This You Hear I WILL GET YOU YOU WILL GET IT XD
u coppied me lol
TTC's famous subway chimes now part of the streetcar network, abeit in lower key.
Don't get ahead of yourself bro, only these new cars
Félicitations. très bien pensé, et modernes trams, and Métros, I like that very much, Jacques
0:49 Gotta love de'm foamers.
Damn, those streetcars are extremely sexy.

Their new street cars look so interesting!
The m
They still have the high-flying trolleys in Philadelphia on SEPTA.
kinkisharyocoasters there are still PCCs on MBTA
3:22 it's like your on the subway
They're so loooooooooong! 30' more than the ALRVs. Strange seeing them slinking around.
I've seen Trams that are way longer but I'm still getting used to seeing them in Toronto. They'll do a good job of replacing the CLRV/ALRV's.
And wheelchair users can now travel by streetcars
Ive been on these only twice now, and theyre cool, but they do not take well to turns hehehe :p still, keep em coming :) and put a nose light too like on the CLRV!
Muni needs some of these on the N Judah.
Nah it would be better if they made outdoor platforms 3 car accommodation
FYI This is a video about new streetcars on the Spadina line in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦
Man I wish they had at least one streetcar route in Scarborough
Maybe a 513 Meadowvale or 513 Port Union or a 513 Mcnicoll
+Mikey Yoshi they do!! main street and Danforth
thats the 506 Carlton
true!!!! it only comes to scarborough
and the 501,502 and 503
These new streetcars accelerate very fast.
Great video thank you for sharing, greetings from New Jersey
Since NYC is planning to get a streetcar system back in operation, I hope for the Brooklyn-Queens connector streetcar will use Bombardier Flexity
NYC Has Subways From Bombardier, Like The R188
Jarek Alexander The R188 is Kawasaki, the R179's and R142 are Bombardier
+Jarek Alexander the only Bombardier component of the R188 is the motors
Although the Flexity is a nice design, I'm pretty sure after the delays from the small R179 order, and even hearing how the Flexities have been delayed for Toronto and even screwed up the first car, they won't be contracting them for a long time
The thing is that these new streetcar run very well underground and they look exactly like subways
They look exactly like subways when underground Opps sorry
I once confused one as a subway for like 5 seconds lol
Thats because they are not streetcars at all, they are actual light rail vehicles meant for right of ways and legit light rail transit but just operating as streetcars
Don't forget the numberous times someone drive their car down on the tracks and got stuck and took a crane and a heavy wreck to pull it out !
Satisfying.
wish they have these here in new york city. less cars means less carbon emissions in the environment
Nice. !!!
At 5:33, that doesn't look like an exactly well-controlled stop, with the screech and the cars wobbling afterwards.
They should say Arriving at.... Spadina or anything else when entering station like stops lol
Lol
0:50 Raging Foamer
Why does it have that trailing pole for power? There is a regular pantograph too on these trains.
Martin Sander the trolley pole is temporary until the overhead wires are fully converted for panto operation
nice cars . reminds me of giant earthworms.
my word , long on the tracks, the route could be a bad fit that curve seems like it takes it slow.
Septa needs thes tram on the 101 and 102
Kendra h Bombardier only delivers them late. The last time they made a train that entered service on time was probably decades ago.
That's a pretty heavy bumper on the front. I will feel sorry (Not) for any 4x4 driving yahoo who thinks its fun to cut across this tanky streetcar >:)
Check out the flexity in berlin
4:32 What station is this?
What's with the guy behind you minute in at Queens Quay?
Rejean Rivard Some transit fan that hates the new streetcars because they're replacing the old ones.
Hahahaha image what he did when they ended PCC service Hahahaha
+Rejean Rivard Well, Dallas has them now along Mckinney Avenue
WHY DIDNT THE TTC ORDER 2-ENDED TRAINS?
QuarioQuario54321 there's no point in having two ends because the system is designed for si gle end operation. However for the Eglinton and Finch LRT lines, the vehicles for those will be double ended.
TechnicaProductions It’s not like it’s permanently single-end. They could gain flexibly in the design. Short-turning could become easier.
QuarioQuario54321 street cars cant do that. They need double sided doors
nice scenery @1:50
This is amazing , seriously , I want to live in Toronto just to use these streets car 😵 How can I be operator ? Is it difficult to be an employees of TTC?
you have to have an drivers g2 or a g license to drive for the ttc
this boring bombardier style is used in many European cities, go there if you like this modern cr@p
0:49 what?
Some crazy railfan who hates the new streetcars basically.
Reminds me of those no-lifers who are overly dramatic around trains. You might have heard of them. It's a species we like to call foamers.
yep
0:50
All these streetcars did was increase fare evasion.
Where is that
is 4400 really that short?
Matthew Vatcher They're all the same size, what are you talking about?
***** No it shows a clip of 4400 at the beginning of the video and it's only 1 car long.
That's just the angle and zoom it was shot at. It causes a compression effect that makes it look shorter.
Oh nevermund
It red and Pink
