@@Rhadamant There's a few mods out there that did what Biotech does, usually in the VE line, and I believe questionable genetics as well. A lot of times it was easier to just 'make' colonists as either cannon fodder, miners, ect. and keep your main colonists safe. Course, could be wrong, but it seems to be pretty common (least according to the Rimworld Reddit) that rimworld players aren't really good people...least to their colonies anyways.
So I guess this will take me a while. I remember at some point I used this series to sleep at night, as you have a nice voice for it. Time to rewatch the start and finally finish it eventually. 😃

So I get like 90% of the nature of this series, but I don't understand the Cannibalism. How does a scientist, even one with a need to genetically tinker, from a normal society suddenly go "I'm gonna eat people"
From her standpoint people keep showing up to her doorstep to kill her and its hard to grow food on the ice sheet so she just kills and eats them. Its efficient so she can spend more time working on genetics and less time trying to farm the tundra.

I have one question, as I am trying to recreate the scenario and start my own Wendigo project - how do you remove the 'Recluse' trait from the Mechanitor start? It does not appear as an option in the scenario editor.
looking at the gene graph you had... i think it could be fun to try and make some skaven... so gaunt body and head, fur, both strong stomach genes, a few of the mole traits minus the near-sightedness and i think some drug and toxin tolerances/immunities and you've got most of what is needed... there would need some tweaking here and there... but with the higher hunger rate, yea you've got more or less a skaven...

This series has been going for 250 episodes... I wasn't super into it when it started, is it too late to try and jump on board? Is there a later point that would be better to jump in on than EP1?
they fixed the genes not being passed to the offspring right? as it was not mean to what your explaining here.. seems like a really odd thing to have in the game as most factions started with 5 pig people and the offspring were human lol which makes now sense. as how are there tribes of pigs and others. or did you edit all this to match how you wanted to play?

The past two Wendigos series were fairly dark, but mostly just had cannibalism and slaughter. This will be a bit more twisted I suspect.

You can use dev mode to just change whatever traits you want once you start

They count as wealth for raids.

Its never too late, the series progresses over time so probably best to start from the beginning, like a roller coaster =]

AFAIK it always worked correctly, 2 Pigskins would always have pigskin children.
