- Hi all! Thank you for checking this new series out. I've been wanting to create a world I'm proud of for a while now... and this is me finally jumping in! I'm super excited to share my progress in this world with you all and maybe create some fun experiences together.
In this video I'm gathering materials and making a starter "fisher's shack". I'm really pushing my build skills to the limit here... with somewhat mixed results. Plus I managed to get an incredibly seed, completely at random.

I have a world that's now 3 years old, and if I didn't have keep inventory on, I know I wouldn't have been at it for so long, or enjoyed playing as much. I'm now a huge fan of exploring the world, getting lost in massive cave systems and roaming around in the nether. I love your little shack! It gives me lonely writer in the wild vibes. Someone who is searching for their muse in nature and has rented a room upstairs in a fishing village, and is now contemplating their life choices lol I'll look forward to your next episode!
I love how you described the vibes here! I might have to incorporate me being a writer or artist into the lore of this world somehow... I really dig that.

I love the thought of all the failed attempts being stored in bookshelves, the letters from home, diaries describing the everyday struggles and wonder of what is going on in the village. Like having the written words of the writer follow that of you building up the world.
Your little hole in the mountain where you slept the first night is a more accurate starter base than that AMAZING house you built! the texturing and attention to detail is amazing! I wouldn't even call that a starter base, it's amazing!
After I kept feeling stressed out while playing minecraft, I realized the stress came from worrying about losing all my stuff--or having only 5 minutes to go back and retrieve it. So I decided to play with Keep inventory on, and now I enjoy the game so much more. That's the important thing after all!
I really like the design of you starter house! It's also nice to hear that other people spend a very long time on these things. And that I'm not the only one who enjoys starting over a lot. 😅
Ahah, yeah. I think I'm about 60 minecraft days into this world now? Which actually is more than I usually play a world for! So I think this one might stick

This is so relatable! I have always had a hard time dedicating myself to one world and getting to the "end game." I very recently started a new world and am now on day 146. I find myself planning objectives/builds in my head for myself when I'm not playing. It's been very rewarding making advancements and the seed that I got has so much potential. Sometimes (it feels like most times) random seeds can be super boring/dry. Subscribed and rooting for you and your new world!

I love the chill vibes of this let's play. The beauty of minecraft is that it's what you make it, so if keep inventory makes it more fun for you, there's no reason not to :)
I'm right with you on Keep Inventory. It's crucial to my enjoyment of casual play. If I'm trying to do something a little more serious, then that's one thing, but for just 'having fun' play, I've found that I really need it. It just takes away all that anxiety about losing things, and lets me adventure a lot more easily, since I'm not someone who gets full Netherite in the first 3 hours of gameplay.
I'll also occasionally give myself unbreaking Axe, Pickaxe, and Shovel, just to skip over the tool grind, as I like doing BIG mining and building projects, and having to interrupt myself every 10 minutes to repair or replace a shovel is just annoying.

i always play with keep inventory. It's the only way i stay sane in a world and don't quit instead of having to run 4000 blocks to get my stuff back
This what lead me find keep inventory option. Was over 8k blocks away from bed/base and was ready never touch minecraft again. Till my bf at the time (now husband) told me there are setting I can change an one is keeping inventory after death. What a god-sent of a setting.

I appreciate your honesty about keep inventory. I play the same way. I will totally lose motivation in a world if I lose my items and cant get back to where they were.
I'm same way. Like if I wanna explore I'm not gonna be happy lose everything like diamond armour and tools cause died too far away to make it back in time.

thank you!! good to know it was still relaxing. I know I get loud when I get excited and I do get excited multiple times in this video. Especially during the mending fishing rod clip (and I cut the sound out when I yelled about efficiency V haha)

Lmao, felt that. I'm 9 hours into a 10 hour shift sipping on a gallon jug of apple juice while I yell at workers for not attaching proper pieces to the body. After I've told them all shift what to use and how to do it ✌️ juice is about to become liquor latter on 😂🤣💀😑

No shame in playing with keep inventory. I play on peaceful with keep inventory till i get a base an so iron tools/armour. With nice size crops going.
Everyone plays their own way. An have noticed some people also who use to only play Hardcore stepping away play game more slow an just normal minecraft that doesnt delete everything from a single mistake. So no worries on taking im slow an finding l9ve for game had as kid. I think others are also reaching that point after so long of diamond everything 1st day netherite day 2-3 :3

ALLLSOOOOOOOO i play with keep inv on 😅 im 28 im to old to stress over a game...then aigan hearing SSsSsssSss BOOM in the middle of the woods at night looking for sheep...😂
Also i use creative to find stuffs and switch😊 some times i like to go on a walk😊 but if im tryna collect stuff its easy to just fly and sore...i dont haz elytra yet I don't think I'll ever get it😢
3:00 Samme...what I do to not feel like it's cheating I always make up some god/spirit/whatever (named or unnamed) that I make a shrine to donate one of my rarer items to (when I advance in the game the rare items go up). Use to be like lava, water, a pit...now I just do a chest+ (that I'll never touch again) as if paying them off so I can continue to use keep inventory on lol. Also allows me keep track of my death count.
7:18 noooo you could have just boated the llamas, kept them as living storage after taming, and boat the wandering villager out to sea, no killing needed for the leads DX weeeehh. lol.
8:53 Caving always gave me stress not being able to see well whats in the caves or running out of torches, not as scary when keep inventory on, but on a public servers I play there isn't keep inventory (there's a custom item that does it, but when I first started out I didn't have any, luckily down the line they added a custom gave system) so I always rocked full bright mod XD so I can see. Was less stressful with their custom mobs at night too. Also helps my eyes, I have to have my screen on low brightness and squinting in dark caves wasn't good for me either haha.
12:07 This is a MOOD, I have some words I just for the life of me I cant say or sometimes forget how to say, and I swear sometimes I might have a lisp that makes me SSsss alot of words I struggle with lol.
14:02...what is that luck DX found all the biomes I always struggle finding, but yeah spruce forests were always as far as the eye could see not 2k+ blocks away like everything else lol. Seed gods are never kind to me weeeh.

Collect all the puppy types! or your fav one, puppy adventures! 😆I can't wait for when the server I play on updates, they are slow with minecraft updates because they focus on their custom plugins/resource pack first. I want puppers so badly. Also want trial chambers badly, so much easy to get to copper blocks =flails=

26:34 I think you can get hanging roots with bonemeal, you have rooted dirt already so don't have to travel back for it? Or you need to place root under rooted dirt then bonemeal, I forget which but I think it's the first one.

I specifically chose to play on 1.21 because of the new blocks + wolf types haha. not ready to face the trial chambers yet, although I did spot one on accident while using replaymod for ep 2. ...right next to the mineshaft I was in in that video.
@@cirrestratus ye-yeah? The leads pop right off when put into a boat. Have to break the boat after to tame them though I think (or name tag them when in boat) or they despawn after awhile. (learned that hard way..thought they'd stay in the boat..like hostile mobs, nope)

Yeah same, I rather have enchanted diamond armor (even if not maxed) first, because I KNOW there is a chance for baby zombies and their hit box is a nightmare.
Oh nice! even if a woops, least you know where one is ahead of time, vs hunting for one (or having what feels like a small chance of getting a map for one from a villager) I look forward to that future video of you tackling one when ready.
I saw one tackled recently on a smp, they didn't know mob spawn stacked more players...it was painful and funny to watch, so that's surely a upside of single player it's bad but not too bad. Hope you get lucky on the type of spawners in your trial chamber too.

How do u have the outer layer on the face outwards and tail?
I use a mod called ears (by unascribed), it uses some of the unused pixels in the skin file to add things like tails, horns and ears
@cirrestratus what about the additional facials like the frills? Or whisker looking things idk what there called?
