hey mr. electric, i was wondering if you have a forum where i could ask you a questions about certain tools to use for a job im going to perform on a 2005 prius. would love to grab your time for a couple seconds and learn
@@Mrelectric423 in your video of you swapping out the actuator on the Prius a couple years ago, what was the list of tools required for the job that you used? As well as maybe the tools that made this job easier for you?
@@johnevered4763 well if it goes well you only need a socket set and wrench set. Maybe a set of crows foot flare nut wrenches would help a bit. If something goes wrong you will need a techstream or equivalent fancy scantool
@@johnevered4763 not sure if my other reply went through so here goes again -A socket set - wrench set - crows foot flare nut wrench set - techstream or other nice scantool. The last two items may or may not be needed.
Good save. Got one of those in the family and its a nice car.

How much does this repair cost by a reasonable mechanic?
@@TobyEarnest-ev7wq probably well over $1000
