enduring confrontation where ifvs have dismounts to capture points, something where roles matter would be so cool
I definitely think infantry could work like scout plains and you could switch between the two. It would make infantry and APCs both more competitive to tanks
Dismount is kind of bluring the line to that other game the Snail has

@@abrinkman5 Had the same thought. And maybe a little infantry tech tree with stinger-, mg-, rpg-squads. You could assign them to carrier vehicles like ifvs or supply helis. (Maybe even paratrooper out of big machines)
new game modes and such is really what this game needs, new vehicles are stale and boring since the gameplay doesnt change
those game modes that you wouldnt play when they implement it.

I want a mode with bot infantry where she would capture the points, i think it would be an interesting addition to the game, (I thought about it a lot but that's the idea in its concept)
Yep, i agreed, them they try to defend the points with anti tank weapons, but only bots
But thats just Enlisted without a tank limit
Want infantry then play Enlisted or maybe they could merge both games with Enlisted being a "new" gamemode with additional unlock trees for the infantry.
Agreed, like if a cap point is inside a building or bunker and the only way to capture it would be to deploy dismounts

One problem with event game modes is that they don’t count as random battles. It would be nice if they counted towards rp and battle pass. They also don’t have single missions for ground or naval, which is something I’ve wanted from the start

New vehicles are cool but new game modes are the only chance to keep the game alive for years to come. I personally think they need larger battles with a moving front line. Instead of just a few bases, have a giant web of bases. You can spawn at any captured base such as the ones near the front.
In the web of bases you have to capture the closest base before you move to next one, but you will still have to defend your new base. AI targets can be added to fill space as needed.
Keep pushing for new game modes.
Idk how this discussion could be had without the mention of Air RB EC. This is the most requested Air mode that has been ignored since 2018 when the game was completely different.
War Thunder's PVE modes are pathetic and honestly I don't even want the devs to waste their time on them anymore. Just give some gameplay variety because the current setup is awefully boring.
If steamrolling and one death leaving is such an issue than introduce mechanics to encourage players to stay and fight. Introduce extra rewards when ur tickets fall below 25%. Introduce AI reinforcements for the losing team. There's a lot the devs could do here, but they don't.
The fact that they refuse to add Air RB EC and added it for a dev server test is proof they fucking hate air players.

Need a PvE CAS mode for planes and jets
CAS PVE will probably have the same problems as helicopter PVE. PVE gives reduced SL and RP rewards and is not that fun to play. As a result verry few will play it which might force Gaijin to whiden BR ranges for matches. Some planes are just way better at killing ground than others due to having all the modifications unlocked or just being a higher BR. This leads to an unbalance of kills and the players that do not get the chance to kill ground will not have a fun experience. Which leads to the game mode being as dead and boring as heli PVE.
Why doesn’t Gaijin hold some sort of game mode building competition?
Players make a game mode in a certain map(since a game mode probably wouldn’t work well in every map). They could rotate these user submissions on an additional playlist, players could get to vote, and the winning setups could be rewarded with GE and implemented into the game.
They could feature this segment in Thunder show to inspire people to participate for rewards. Gaijin won’t have to worry much about trying to spend time and effort making balanced modes and honestly they could do this for map building as well.
I see this as a win-win, players will get what they want, and Gaijin won’t have to waste time trying to get it right.
I thought what most of us wanted was endurance confrontation -like mode for Air Realistic?
Or.. well, in general, some actual PvPvE, not just team deathmatch with a few irrelevant bots fluttering around the map
Insanely large map in ground sim/realistic EC map as an optional way to play also there could also be a gamemode like rescue the infatry where 1 team escorts APCs to the infantry but you could just use 1 of your own and the enemy team tries to stop you (to me sounds like a balancing hell but still doable
World of Tanks is a pretty good contrast to WT in regards to gamemodes - attack/defend, Battlefield-style big map frontline pushing, lots of PvE concepts and Battle Royale have all worked out in it because the vehicles are faster, armour mattering more and tanks being HP-based makes getting one-shot much less of a concern and pushing more feasible. Lots of event gamemodes in the game have pushed the envelope when it comes to gameplay experiences because of how the mechanics lend themselves to different experiences.
An aircraft PVE mode like the helicopter PVE mode is desperately needed. Some attacker and bomber aircraft are pain to fly in Air RB because you have things like the B29 and TU4 facing jets and the airspawn has been reduced to 8K ALT so you can’t even make it to a drop. Spading these types of aircraft is next to impossible. I wouldn’t mind having reduced RP and SL in a PVE mode but still have the ability to use these other vehicles. I have the A7K which is at 11.0. It is pain trying to spade it in Air RB.
They should give plane tickets to the loosing team instead of the winning one. So if the enemy locks one place it's easier to counter attack.
Some new battles for heli.
I would love to see a historically accurate air rb game mode. like battle of britain or stalingrad and then just the nations that fought in those respective battle, with accurate planes only being allowed. would also like to see enduring confrontation with aiir and ground, naval could also be in it. and have it be like 50 v 50 or 100 v 100
i just want the aircraft PVE gamemode they promised in the last roadmap designed around CAS and bomber planes
ships and tanks are in the game for years, so when will we get ground and naval modes?
No new modes we will be always fighting in small cages with just 1-3 points. It's the punishment for our crimes in past lives.
Imo would like to try a CAS gamemode and have ground just be ground. change match making to no full up/down teiring. Rp earned anywhere can be used anywhere.
btw the progression gamemode still exists in lowtier naval costal.
i'ma be honnest and say it bur APHE should not do nearly as much dammage as it does not, the shrapnel cone of APHE isn't much bigger then that of a AP shell, the grenade like fysics that WT has now just aren't real, but fixing this would completely throw of all balance below like 6.7..
also sabot and APCR should do a lot more dammage, wich also would completely change br's of certain vehicles.
If actually realistic dammage (in terms of bullets and rounds) would be implemented the entire game would get flipped on it's head balance wise, especially ground forces
idk if it would help or not, but it would gravely deminish huge APHE advantages that exist now (and maybe fix some of the getting one-shot problems)
1 game mode for ground rb. Annilation. Wipe every player on enemy team to win. Simple. Matches will also last longer.

We need the modes we have now improved first before new modes are even on the table, so many modes are insanely unbalanced due to spawns and map design
People treat war thunder like its an FPS Shooter, its a semi-realistic vehicular war game.
Theres no need for gamemodes, instead we need more objectives/things to do. Naval oriented maps, carrier landing/takeoffs. Targeting ships, destroying airfields with proper weapons designed to bust up runways. Convoys intercept and destruction. Land capture airfields. Bomber escort. And we need to be rewarded for doing the objectives.
Bring it to AB and RB, SB is too boring.
So what your saying is new game modes with objectives
Imo larger map are a good idea but only for high/top tier because all tank before that would be too slow
I want them to add aircraft carrier for maps with sea, so the naval aircraft have some unique gameplay

i want a game mode where it is 64 players vs 64 players in ground realistic battles and air realistic battles
I just want the damn hackers and the weak anti-cheat software fixed. Top tier is broken right now and a big part of it is almost every game has a hacker or two on each team. There also needs to be some changes to various BRs. They’ve packed so much stuff into 10.3 that you can’t play lower BR like 9 or 10 without getting sucked into a uptier 10.3-11.0 game. They completely destroyed the US 10.0 line up and they moved things like the AH6 and OH58 up to 10.3. The A10 late which has less weapon options than the standard A got bumped to 10.3. The 120 M60, the AMBT M60 all get bumped up into 10.3-11 games where they get destroyed. It’s just no fun anymore.
I just want a huge map with tanks and rolling spawns
ithink the gamemode most of us, ground enjoyer waiting for since tanks got introduced is the Ground ONLY without CAS or DRONES AB/RB/SB.....

I really liked the game mode they tested a while ago where there were 5 capture points like battlefield I would like that back because yeah they last a lot longer but I actually get to use all my vehicles and get a lot of rewards from it. though if they did I would say get rid of the nuke from it because I think it would be to easy to get one in that game mode.
Plus thats also an incentive to use all the mao where we are cause most of tile we only use half or less than the map in the current game settings
At this point something has to change these map design and concepts just don’t work.. world of tanks makes front line work great.. they should copy and paste that model

They have test game modes giving a decal in a grind game. And some modes dont work because the maps bad, very bad.
Team deathmatch is a mode were i cant think of major flaws except long battles but its not there
Well it kind of is in game already and was for a long time too. The map variants in ground where each team has a home cap point did recently get a UI change which reflects more how they are meant to be played. Like a team death match where the team which reaches 60 kills first wins. Or which team has more kills when the time runs out. When the enemy cap is captured the kill counter of your team rapidly increases until you reach 60 and your team wins.
Again I post, if gaijin changed from spawn points to spawn zones in which the enemy can't tell exactly where you spawn it would greatly help with spawn camping prevention.
no.. no it wouldnt.. most map spawn points are actually decently large.. but how they have to be designed to prevent spawncamping from the start of the round causes it to be able to be spawn camped once they reached a certain area
all we want is 5v5 or atleast 8v8 AirRB modes for toptier

There used to be a battle royal gamemode when the game was new, you could pick up repair thingies which repaired your entire vehicle, and crew replenishment thingies which replaced/healed your whole crew. It was boring so they removed it. The drops are still a thing though, in the assault arcade modes

We don't want new game modes for Ground RB, they're fine. We NEED it for Air RB, Arcade has it with capture airfields, bomb all bases etc but Air RB is just Team Deathmatch and furball in the middile. We need multiple spawn points and some objective like the Ground RB has.
And Naval vehicles to land on maps with oceans and additional small landing fields to resupply at middle left for one side and middle right for another would be good too as maps are really big and game ends half the time by the time you return from airfield.
air does have mutiple spawn points depending on the plane, and... theres 2 airfields you can land at you know that right?

also.. you dont need multiple spawn points... you have an airfield.. you can take off and go left, right or centre.. the exact same for ground
@@datcheesecakeboi6745 fair point, but why would you go to other sides of the map when you know 95% of the enemies gonna come from front right side? They need to make objectives across the map to split players, kinda like how some people go for A and others for B in Ground RB, we need something similar.
They just need to remove air entirely
I'm going to put this out there, air rb is riddled with players who don't know jow to fight one on one so they grind using fighters to bomb bases instead of climbing and help they're team, because of this it doesn't just affect them. Them doing this means their team has one less usfull teammate so my game mode suggestion is a fighters only game mode, no interceptors, no bombers, no strike fighters, only airfeild spawn aircraft would be allowed in this mode.
Give me a like if you like air rb and agree with this:)
what BR of fighters we're talking about here? because low and mid BR fighters, you do have to get high to win, but for top BR fighters, going high means death
Fighters can be decent in air rb. 2500 lbs plus 10 hvars in a thunderbolt is more payload than some legit bombers and you can do fighter stuff after
@spyczech I have a pure hatred for players who do this because it's mostly American players that do it, and no, the p51h and p47 does not have a heavier payload than something like a b17 and a pb4y, I can tell your level 50

Why does everyone bitch about CAS? Everytime I spawn in a CAS I get warnings and lock alarms from the 10+ players get a lock on me from my spawn. Half the time I barely get more then 30 seconds before I'm blown out of the sky by ground to air missiles.
Honestly i wanna see a game mode where its historical battles but instead of you playing it singleplayer you can go up aganist players with tanks and planes of that era like if the historical battle is set to the year 1942 you will use those machines to fit the era

I think its time they revise the ticket system too. Too many matches have been prematurely ended by stuff like attackers and the automatic AI ticket bleed. You'll be fighting the last guy on the enemy team in Air RB, you get guns on him and some teammate kills a single howitzer or a single AI plane just crashes and you or the next guy just win without getting an additional kill. It honestly feels spiteful
Honestly a gamemode like Rush in Battlefied 3 would fit quite well.
I have a pretty extensive set up of Virpil and that was $2400(USD) in 2021
