We woke up on Day 5 in Livorno, Italy which is the port that gets you to Florence and Pisa.
After having breakfast at Cabanas, we met with our Disney Excursion group in the Walt Disney Theater and boarded the bus that would take us first, to Florence.
    Florence
Our tour began in Florence. The tour did not include going inside the Uffizzi museum, so we had planned to visit ourselves and meet up with the group later. Unfortunately, the tickets we purchased tickets online before the cruise to see the David, were the wrong time and were not able to change them.
Luckily, we were able to follow the map from our tour guide and were able to catch up to our group a few minutes later.
After exploring Florence we found a pizza restaurant for lunch.
Then we headed to our meeting spot to wait for the rest of our group.
After our tour of Florence, we got back on our busses and headed to Pisa. The leaning tower is just breathtaking. It was amazing to see it in person!
Our excursion returned back to the ship, just in time for our Pirate Night dinner! If you want to see the full Pirate Night menu, head to Mommy Mouse Clubhouse .com. I will have the link available in the description below.
On Day 6, we woke up in Cannes France and just like the other days, we had breakfast at Cabanas before boarding a water taxi to take us to shore.
We booked a private tour with another family for the day, which ended up being cheaper than any of our Disney excursions. I liked touring this way because I felt like we had more time to spend exploring.
Our first stop was the flower market in Nice.
Our next stop was about a 30 minute drive away to the country of Monaco. My family was extra excited to visit because it is the home of the Monaco Grand Prix formula 1 race. We actually missed the race by just a few days, so many of the stands were still up.
Our driver was nice enough to take us along the same route as the F1 drivers!
We had lunch at a fun Formula 1 Racing themed restaurant called Stars n Bars.
This was a cool view right here because you are able to see three countries at the same time. Monaco, France and Italy!
Here is a birds eye view of the Monaco Grand Prix race track.
Our last stop in France was the medieval town of Eze which included a lot of stair climbing and beautiful Mediterranean views.
When we returned to the ship, it was time for dinner at Rapunzel’s Royal Table. The menu was different than previous nights and was delicious. My favorite was Rapunzel’s Fry Pan bread for dessert!
The show that night was Tangled with Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder and it was amazing!
Our last full day was a day at sea. Everyone slept in past breakfast, so we had lunch in Cabanas then went swimming.
Our last dinner on this cruise was at Lumiere’s and was delicious as usual. It was say saying good by to our servers who had been amazing throughout our time on the Disney Magic.
After dinner, my husband and I headed to the piano bar Keys to listen to some music. This area is similar to the Cadillac Lounge on the Disney Wonder. Check out my videos of our cruise to Mexico to see that Cars themed bar.
One of our favorite things to do on a Disney Cruise is to walk around the ship on the jogging track on Deck 4. I’m glad with the business of this cruise we were able to relax a little and enjoy the sea.
Just before bed, we had to go up to Deck 9 to get one more ice cream cone!
And just like that, our 7 Day Mediterranean Cruise on the Disney Magic has come to an end. We opted to keep our luggage with us and head up to Cabanas for one last breakfast before leaving the ship. Before we knew it, we were in a taxi on our way back to the Barcelona Airport.
I hope you enjoyed visiting the Mediterranean with us. We really had a great time visiting Spain, Italy, France, and Monaco. Current prices for excursions are in the Disney Cruise Line website under Ports of Call. Hope that helps!

Love love LOVE your video!! I'm at the beginning of planning a Disney cruise for my family of 4 and was wondering how much you recommend a family 4 to budget for this type of trip - EVERYTHING, including excursions and misc stuff 😀. Thanks so much for posting videos

I’m so glad they were helpful and I’m excited for your cruise! Flights can be expensive, depending on where you’re coming from. We paid about $1200 per person from Utah. Excursions varied, but I would plan on $100-$200 per person per excursion. Food and transportation are usually included in those so any other costs would just be souvenirs and tips for the guides. The only other things we paid for was Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique ($99) and Palo (about $120). We also paid for a hotel in Barcelona the night before (about $250) and a hotel at JFK airport for our 12 hour layover. I hope that helps!

What private touring company did you use in Cannes ? Thanks

Did you have to pay for the tours outside the cruise? Would you recommend this cruise for a family with a 1 yr old baby? Did you guys enjoy it and was it worth it? Thank you

It was totally worth it! Some of the excursions were through Disney and we were billed at the end of the cruise. With the private tours, we paid the tour guides directly. Taking a 1 year old would be fun, but could also be challenging. One thing I noticed in Europe was that there were not a lot of public restrooms so diaper changes could be challenging. Having said that, we’ve traveled all over the place since our kids were infants so it can be done!

Why did you disable comments for your Great Wolf Lodge video? Just wanted to say the place is beyond disgusting! It's a petri dish with human fecal matter. Every time the step kids have gone there they come back with diarrhea and this last time, Covid!

Thank you for letting me know the comments were disabled, I had no idea 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m sorry you had such a terrible experience. You should leave a review on Trip Advisor or contact Great Wolf Lodge so they know about the problem.
