yeah dude, atb is killer. first time i heard about them was at a local show in syracuse, ny. ive love them ever since
New fan..love these guys.....I’m also new to gojira and kinda just play these two bands nonstop
I just saw them on the shaped by fire tour. Dude is a beast of a singer
St paul here. My nephew's friend brought Rare Form over and threw it in my stereo and played berserker. Changed my musical life. He was like "check out my friends band". My family wasn't happy with the volume hahaha
After the Burial has never put out a remotely bad album.
I keep coming back to this one. Let me tell you man, After the Burial is one of the few bands that is legitamately better live then they are in the studio. Like, this is amazing, but live.... holy shit.

I met them at warped tour a few years ago when this song first came out and they played it live, that pit was fucking insaneeeeeeeee honestly best one I've ever been in. And when we met them after the show I was sobbing about how much I loved this song 😂😂

Anthony is a sick vocalist. These dudes have a really cool foreign vibe to a lot of their riffs. Idk if they just play half their songs in Phrygian dominant or what but they pull it off really well.
Cursing Akhenaten is a sweet example of it.

@truantreacts that is the song that you need to react from this band lol not this. That was when they were at their prime when their guitarist was still alive :'( Also Neo Seoul is an amazing song to listen to. I don't care as much for their early stuff.
Also the song Drifts from their album Rareform is one to be listened too :D
I feel like Pennyweight or Laurentian Ghosts would be just as good too.
Wei Xian Ng almost any song from a that album, but the song wolf amongst ravens is groovy af, so he definitely needs to react to it. And collapse or Laurentian ghosts. Both are groovy af, but I like collapse cuz it's probably the fastest song on their album while still being groovy af

I saw Jinjer in Cologne last week. It was really really great but only short concert since it was 4 bands to play at the same venue. you will ebe happy with them in autumn

Saw these dudes at the Warped Tour in July. They were brutal and flawless.
Great choice brother! That was my favorite song from them. You want heavy riffs? Check out Earth Scar by Decapitated! But be careful. It'll snap your neck!
It's a very solid and clean, very well made song..when that song came on pandora i literally stopped what I was doing just to head bang
And it really bangs on the subwoofers
This song was my intro to the band too and now I've seen them four times and I consider Rareform one of my favorite albums of all time

Hey man, saw them live a few years ago in Paris, they are brutal as fuck! If you're looking for some technical stuff you should try Berserker from them, and A Wolf Amongst Raven for the heavier stuff, really complex song, complex rhythm! Love the accent by the way, so british love it!!!
I might be late on this but the song that got me into ATB was "Cursing Aketon" .. spelling might be wrong but definitely worth checking out! Amazing live!

You don't know what After the Burial is after listening to "Wolf Amongst Ravens"
Lost in static is good but I would suggest Fingers Like Daggers (new version) for a very interesting melodic sound.
