What is really the difference between having a lawyer representing you compared to having one assisting you as she has now. I watched a podcast with someone close to her say , that they think she is doing this because she loves the lime light & will enjoy being a lawyer for a few weeks.

I feel strongly your claim about the Crumbley conviction is totally wrong. I watched the entire case and the parents willful negligence in treating their son after repeated requests by him, and not disclosing to the school he had access to a gun after seeing drawings of it, was beyond the pale. Her lawyer was atrociously bad.
I don’t think the two school employees should have been given anything bc they were as guilty as the parents. The parents asked the counselor for advice and they followed that advice.
