Skipping is a rough one, it's so highly efficient in speed - energize consumption, that it's probably the optimal way to move depending on your shoe choice, yet it's such an unheard of and ridiculous thing, associated with being a child that there is no way any of us can skip to get around without getting majorly judged and bullied even in 2024.

If you workout or you just like movement in general you should absolutely never stop jumping. Assuming you have legs and that they work of course. Jumping is a fundamental movement.

Its normally way easier and faster than climbing through or over. Or what about puddles? Like do people not jump over deep puddles anymore? People just trudging through it with wet shoes and socks?
I keep a skipping rope as well. I am not amazing or anything, what's important is to do it basically forward/backward and to focus on your breathing, I find its soothing once your in the flow and you get annoyed when you break that flow.

As a Christian I totally understand not liking the whole guilt or going to church thing. I’m thankful I didn’t grow up in a situation of fear when it comes to my faith, but I no longer go to church. I just haven’t found a healthy environment where I live that feels aligned with my spiritual beliefs. So I just focus on prayer and my actions as a human. Far too many churches operate on judgement, money, and growing their own numbers. I have no interest in those things.
