Ohhh boy. The world was pretty different the last time I uploaded a video, huh? Of course, I kind of anticipated it would get bad when I heard what was happening in China. It's so incredibly awful though, and miserable. I hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy during this time.
So a little context for this vid: I've always associated this song with Sam. It's a project that's been in my to do list for a few years now. So I decided to complete it this year for his birthday -- albeit, a few days late. Sam's issues of PTSD, depression, dissociation/depersonalization, passive/reactive suicidal tendencies, and addiction are issues that are overlooked a lot both in the show and within the fandom. He's such a tragic character, guys, and as much as we all love him for being the wonderful badass that he is, his vulnerability and his sweetness and his ability to endure is what makes me love this man so much.
I wanted to really capture the melancholy tone that this beautiful song has, plus a little bit of a hopefulness at the end. Even after everything that he's gone through, there are so many moments for him where the light shines through and evens it all out.
Last note: This song is sensitive and deals with themes of self-harm, suicidal ideation, and depression, so if those are topics that are harder for you, please take note of that. Thank you!

i hear this song many times and im wonder why didn't Gos protect me from being reject/hurt be those girls why didn't offered me a better life why didn't give me what i wanted all these years but i want still to belive that all he is doing is because he cared for me like a father for his sons for humans in this case

Thank you so much! I usually raise the volume on on the audio track for the audio clips since those need be louder than the song track. Wearing headphones when editing is helpful with that because it lets you hear little differences in changes to the audio. Hope that helps!
