    Yes, the host must not have interrupted her. Because the purpose of such seminars is solving problems of students whether academic or mental problem arised during academics.

    No offense to the host, but you shouldn't have stopped her explaining her situation. If you had ever been into the situation of stress and anxiety, you would have known, how a person feels. After talking to someone whom he/she admires, he/she feels better and more relaxed.
    Whether or not she had got any answer but by just talking more to him....she would have got more relaxed.
