hi i have 2 of these transmitters both charge up . but i am getting no joy at the receiver end there is 3 wire's to power the unit but where does the white wire go and from the power supply . ?
The receiver only uses the red and black from the battery pack/switch harness. Do you have a crystal plugged into the transmitter and receiver? Are the crystals both the same channel/frequency?
Been using one for the past 30 years NEVER had a radio problem. Better range than the others, they ran the maximum output wattage allowed in the UK. Best RC system I've had . Only just got round to changing one Digifleet TX to 2.4. Flew 2.4 with Spectrum and Futaba but ditched them both for my DigiFleet.
@@Gareth4Davies i'd by a standard tx/rx charger and fit a din plug on the lead.. see this charger rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5338306246&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fitm%2FProlux-4-8V-9-6V-Ac-Adaptor-Tx-Rx-Charger-PX2114%2F202410638312%3Fepid%3D701666392%26hash%3Ditem2f209d3be8%3Ag%3AEQMAAOSwHn9bhCDX
The Super 60 would be the most appropriate plane to put it in. Retro airframe, retro diesel engine, retro radio....what could possibly go wrong? Keep watching this channel to find out.
I still use 35meg on a dji 450 works a treat , iv also got 4 digifleet radios so with a bit of luck you could do a video showing how to convert to 2.4 keep up the good work
Designed and made by Derek Olley who started a business at Chertsy Station Forecourt called 'Sun Lane Cycles' that set would have probably cost the average working man four weeks wages,I had their earlier galloping ghost system which quite frankly was awful ! good range was never a good feature of Fleet equipment and a lot of fiddling with ferrite rods and a piece of knicker elastic to stop them moving,I was a Skyleader flyer and before that RCS Control systems, love these retro flashbacks in time and look forward to seeing this fitted in your Junior 60.
Nice gear for that time, don't forget to do a proper range check ;o) Cant remember what was my first radio, I believe it was a Robbe TerraTop, long time ago hi hi
"A bag of bits from being shot down by old geezers"......so what's Colins excuse these days Lol. Considering that back in the day, we would spend days (even weeks) building our kits only to crash them first time out, its a wonder any of us stayed with the hobby. How times have changed.

Add a ballistic parachute in control of the spotter?
Nice radio, nice video.
Love that radio , it looks awesome never seen one before , can't wait to see if it was how you remembered it guy's.
Can you please tell me the voltage of each AAA cell or are they around 1.2V each so a pack of four would be 4.8V
they are AA. 1.2v nimh cells. 4 cells per pack so 4.8v per pack. and there are 2 packs so 9.6v in total.
@@Rcmodelgeeks Thanks so much for this do you know if a replacement charger is sold by anyone?

My first was a 2 channel Acoms
Was analogue really infinite step? Or that a joke?
Not a joke. analog has better resolution. Digital generally has 512,1024,2048 or 3072 positions
